After buying the latest Dyson and going thru 2 carpet cleaners, I just gave up and bought a new Henry. Somehow, for some reason, it just does so well. It’s durable, strong, light and fun. Although it sort of annoyed me that a £130 Henry was making my carpet feel noticeably softer with the airobrush than a £500 Dyson.

I agree , i wish to have a henry Xtra hvx 200-11 model they have cable rewinds ,big bags, good storage ,the quiet sound they have everything to keep a house clean! oh and the lightweight and strong heavy duty unit where you connect the hose

Henry's are fantastic for the most part i only got rid of mine because my dyson does alot better on carpets and has more suction on the hose but thats kind of a bad thing as its strong enough to lift the vacuum up on the stairs 😂
Brought one a couple weeks ago, alot of people say the newee ones have been cheapened down, but other than the floor head, still feels like just as rugged as the older ones and they are great fun hoovers to use, what you think?
I think the plastic especially on the bucket area is softer and flexes more but a Henry is a Henry after all, still works brilliantly although the latest Henry’s have less suction slightly unfortunately but still good vacuums. I wish they had better floortools though
Less powerfull motors the new henrys. Older were 1200w new 600w ish loads of older ones about that will keep running for years.
@@dandyer8351Numatic have claimed that the newer 620w motors are just as powerful as the old 1200w ones. Ibasiac did in fact prove that it's true.
Remember, lower rated motor doesn't necessarily mean less power.
The new 620w motors aren't as reliable but they're just as powerful as the old ones.
The plastics are definitely cheaper on new Henry's though and definitely bend and flex a lot more. They tend to come from the factory damaged too which is annoying. That never used to happen.

The thing’s been dropped down stairs, fallen in a pond, sucked up ‘Petrol’ and been on fire TWICE…and it’s still able to beat ANY dyson or Henry. The thing’s got so much power it doesn’t NEED a brush to leave any surface looking spotless.

You been switching model stickers? Hows a autosave got a 200-22 sticker?
Hahaha it's not an autosave, it's the one before that but I swapped the bucket and shell of the lid over from my aunties henry before she got a new vacuum, I did this so I can say I have the henry my aunty gave me when I dont really like the autosave model, I prefer the 2007 type

Is that the hose that came with that model? Because I am sure that hose comes with the newer ones. And how do u have a henry with a flower when urs is not an autosavs
Nope I changed the hose for a newer style as they're better for airflow and it was an autosave except I changed the inner parts so it would be like a 2008 style Henry which is the better type

@@ayanhaque3985 My hose at the machine end keeps coming off cos of the weak glue, I have to keep screwing it back on, glue is just terrible

Thats my main problem with bagged vacs, they start to absorb odours and then you gotta change them early, a lot of the time even carbon filters don't work
