So my Dc01 was sitting there in the shed with parts lying around and i thought i make some space. I did that then i got an idea after. Try fitting a YDK Dc07 motor into it and transform it. I did it and surprised the motor fit! Wired it up and took that spine cable oyt and got a dc07 one and took of the rubber piece at the bottom of the cable then put it all together plugged it in and it works! Its got same suction as the ametek Dc01 but its very good! And working! Video is coming up today have a look if you would like! Also loved the video!
Wow you must be very clever and innovative to be able to fit a DC07 motor into a DC01 cos I tried doing that years ago and it didn't work properly, just made noise and had no suction
@@parwaz7861 i used the bottom of a seal from the ametek motor to support the Dc07 motor so it doesnt fall and move about when i turn it on as it has alot of torque
Using the Henry without a dust bag will reduce filtration efficiency and isn’t good for the motor but for such cases like this where it’s being used for large debris it’s perfectly fine
