- So I tried remaking the Word Up song from that new Kingsman movie, kinda went okay.
Used Word Up by The Boss Hoss, Cameo and Gun
I do not own Kingsman or any of the music producers above, nor did I make the music in the film, all rights reserved to them.

Just thought I'd let you all know that I have been reading the comments and have been doing something about the abruptness as well as trying to include a bit more Cameo into it: th-cam.com/video/_lpf3wWVg9E/w-d-xo.html
I don't think I'll be working further on the song, I'm hoping either the big boiz in heaven will release the official version or someone can do a better job than I did :p
I'll keep this version here if people prefer this over the new one (Which is entirely possible)
I did get a copyright strike, understandably. I mean you probably could use it, just means you'll get a strike too. At least I think that's how it works.
Well the version in the movie was actually professionally put together, they had access to individual instruments and tracks used in their actual songs and there was the guitar solo which I heavily assume they made specifically for the movie.
In this version, I did put together the BossHoss and Cameo, for the guitar solo thing I got that from Gun's version of Word Up then it was in the background for the finale as the Cameo part struck back hard.

I'll be entirely honest, I've never really used Spotify so I am unsure on how to do that. I might try putting it there some day if I look into it

I don't understand why they don't release the film version for us to hear, they could at least re-record it that way it would be really cool
It's basically a mash-up of 3 different versions of the song, aside from the cost of licensing for the movie, they probably didn't think it was worth the cost for licensing to release it on a soundtrack
I like this version more than the 08 UK version etc

I would only say that the whole piece feels jumbled. The BossHoss version seems as if it takes over too much when compared to the Cameo version. And the transitions are a little abrupt, especially at 1:43. But I think with a little more tweaking, it can be something really special! Definitely a good attempt!
