Stories like this make me SO PROUD I can knit, and crochet. It's hard to explain, the feeling you get from a finished project and the look on a face that's been gifted with something lovely that you made with your own hands.
I bought one of these sweaters 30 years ago when I first came to canada and boy I can tell you it is as beautiful now as it was then .In fact it looks like new still..Wonderful craftsmanship by these ladies.I do hope the young girls keep up this traditional wear.
Absolutely breath taking. Congratulations!! Beautiful tradition artform and sharing it with generations to keep it alive and to revere it's true meaning...of your people, culture and LOVE that God has shown thru your talents. GOD BLESS YOU for excelling in GOD's Greatest Gifts.....the ability to know that GOD is teaching us to pay it forward. He will do the rest!!. Ken Orlando, Florida, USA
