    • @MatteNande

      @@SMazu-cl4uu Maybe a little bit of polishing, and some compositing effects to marry it with the animation. But it's also a scanned version of the background, which makes a big difference compoared to a filmed version

    Those paint tubs look huge! Is it just the video or are they really that big? I've never seen poster color tubs bigger than 30ml.

    • @MatteNande
      @MatteNande  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They are the 140ml ones, which you can buy in Japan. Ideal if you use them a lot!

    This is fantastic! Traditional, real painted animation backgrounds knocks CGI put of the water. What paper do you use? I’m shocked it didn’t buckle with that much added water to it. Also, what’s the tool you use with the ruler to get that even fine line?

    • @MatteNande
      @MatteNande  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much! We use TMK paper, which is specially made for use with poster colours to withstand being drowned. The tool is a glass rod, but theoretically you could use a ballpoint pen to do the same job.

    Can you use Strathmore smooth bristol 300 series with poster color? Like will all the water warp it?

  • @DaviSilva-hu5wg
    @DaviSilva-hu5wg 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Hi, I would like to ask why your poster color bottles are so watery, do you store it with a little water to prevent drying? Also, I appreciate the smooth gradients.

    • @MatteNande
      @MatteNande  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, without water the paint dries out and hardens. But beware, if you don't use the paint for too long the water will get moldy, so keep painting often ;)
