I love Hajime no Ippo. From being bullied and being self-pitied then he became Japan's featherweight champion with the support of his friends.
Not to mention his friends were some of those that bullied him. A true hero story.

Wow, another Dutchie! Hajime no Ippo was surprisingly one of my first anime that I watched years ago and I only have good memories from having watched it. It is deserving of much more popularity from within the anime community as it is one of the best in its genre. Fijne dag man!

It just arrived on Netflix Germany and my nostalgia hit me soo hard when I heard the op and ed
I will never forget the 2 anime that inspired me to train, Dragonball being the other.
Hajime no Ippo was and still is one of my all time fav anime and this song ALWAYS hit me in the feels.
Ippo Makunouchi, the a kid who was bullied in High School wanting to know "what does it mean to be strong?" and became the Japanese Featherweight Champion. Although now retired his Fighting Spirit continues to live on in all our hearts. With a record of 23-3-0 (23 wins-3 loses-0 draws) and 23 KO's may his fighting spirit continue to live on.

There is so many memories that flashes back to me every time I hear the ending songs of the anime of my childhood. Even the feelings that I felt every time an episode was ended at that day was within this ending songs. It was so nostalgic.

一步中自己最愛這首。
配合ed各拳手的特寫，簡單的就道出了職業拳手的辛酸與落寞，尤其沒能成為冠軍，仍然默默地努力拼命的他們。
這首每次在片尾插入的時間點都絕妙！而且跟拳擊的熱血產生一種漂亮的反差，有種打完一場熱烈拳賽後無論輸還是贏都不會後悔，看著以往的足跡心想著明天還要重新開始的感覺😭

這首歌是我最喜愛的第一神拳的歌曲，有一種歷練過後回首往昔的情懷。不過，鋼琴演奏我覺得比原曲更加輕柔悅耳。尤其有些段落，鋼琴聲會變成像是敲玻璃杯般的清脆音質、而曲調依舊抒情和緩，形成一種不破壞風格卻又保有層次變化的豐富感。 我不太懂樂理，只能盡可能形容。不過我覺得這種層次變化，真的不賴。
編曲都是需要"心"去改編~

Even the Paino cover made me cry. Too nice to listen to
The song feels pretty emotional and overall, I wasn’t prepared
It’s my favorite ending. A little context: boxing isn’t portrayer as being all that popular, and it’s apparently rare to make enough money to do it full time, so to this song they have the entire cast of boxers working their day jobs… stuff like working at a flower shop or cooking ramen, and you know their real passion is boxing. Very “someday my dream will come true” vibes to it throughout.
So glad this series gets some recognition. Loved it!

謝謝Ru彈奏這首，我從小到大最愛的日本歌，小時候看第一神拳一直覺得很勵志，這首歌的歌詞內容也很有意義，每當心情不好都會聽這首。 希望作者趕快讓幕之內拿世界冠軍吧
除了熱血的之外，許多拳擊手為了生存退無可退的處境還是輸了比賽，搭配這個BGM真的很難忍住淚水，鋼琴的音色少了原本的滄傷感，但卻另有一種傷後療育的感覺，前奏一出來所有回憶畫面都跑出來，RuRu真的很棒!!!

It isn't underrated it just past it's glory days while a story about fighting can be good hajime no ippo is amazing to be still ongoing as a manga about just 1 fighting style with no over the top flashy action.
Haven't read/watched, i bet it's good but unlike one piece it lacks mystery so it isn't appatzing enough for me to start it yet.

@@ambulancekun3142 It's just a realistic manga (obviously it has many exaggerations in the fightings) of how life of pro-boxers could be. That's why it hasn't much mistery as long as it's just about boxing and a slice of life. It doesn't mean it's bad. It's actually the best slice of life that I've ever read and watched. Hajime no Ippo deserves more recognition.
Ruru got that talent and the looks to match. Definitely deserves more credit for the consistent quality!
