Yo Yooo haha thanks for watching! End of day somewhere different than rufford never hurt no one! Give me a call or text ill let you know if its worth travelling down first 😂
Interesting to see the types of people who drive around. You were good to offer a tow out, but some people are just ignorant of the good samaritan. I saw your video today, you are a nice helpful guy. I have subscribed and liked the video, and look forward to seeing more of your illustrious videos. 😃😃😃
Those truck drivers need to look beyond their dashboard. I was one of the Red Cross Unimog drivers in the Somerset Levels flooding ~& witnessed first hand the distress caused to home occupiers as each bowave went further up their lounge wall or over the top of their cooker etc. I realise it may make entertaining videos but there is a human cost I also realise most of the "offenders" do not know of the consequences of their fun so I'm not posting this to chastise but to educate for the current emergency and ones of the future Thank you for your entertaining & educational videos
Good Point. This happens at the end of our village. Us locals realise this and drive slowly. Others do not, event though the house owners stand at the side calling out to passing motorists to slow down when crossing the flooded road.
That area, particularly where the garage is, is built near where the old salt works used to be. It used to flood constantly years ago, along with the road to your right, the bottom end of Sandon Road. To avoid it, go down Oxford Gardens and get into town that way.
Thing is... HGV and vans going through as professional drivers how do they know theres not a gully nor manhole cover missing in flooded road! Even as a Land Rover driver sometimes hesitant is similar conditions!
Looks like that Merc got further than a BMW would 😂 It surprising what small cars can get through , I’ve a old Rover 200 that does very well in flood water
You can see how much deeper it got. If you go to the end and look at the blue Mercedes E class then see how far up the water level is. Then go back to the start and see how far down. That’s crazy amount of water in a short time.
I once owned a Metro years ago that had the distributor cunningly positioned in order to short out every time it was asked to go through a deep puddle. I only found out by experience but I never went anywhere near a flood afterwards.
So many modern vehicles have their air intake low down behind the bumper they must suck up every little bit of damp and debris, it makes me wonder how they can make it through even light showers.
The roads around Stafford itself are an absolute nightmare at the best of times. Rush hour is horrendous, and when there's a jam on the nearby M6 it's even worse as everything comes off the motorway and attempts to go through Stafford. I used to work in Stafford (I live 10 miles away), and what should have been a 20 minute journey took over 30 minutes every time during the day, but was often far worse. One day I left home at 4.30pm and didn't get to work until 5.45pm!
Great video greg, gotta say if you'd have ended up helping that rude bellend I'd have unsubscribed for sure😂but glad you didn't and hope it cost him alot of money, what did the recovery driver shout to you as couldn't hear him?look forward to the next one as always 🤟😊👍
I've driven, for fun, in deeper water but to be fair I wouldn't take my daily driver through a flood like that unless it was an unavoidable emergency. Not worth the risk of an unseen hazard or misjudgement. But if I did and stuffed it up I wouldn't be rude to the offer of help!
Silkmore Lane in Stafford can get just as bad. Went through it today. Where as ICE cars were mounting the pavement to try and get round it, I just ploughed straight through in my e-Niro. (bought not 100 yards from your video location. You drove past it to get there.)
Just can"t help some people. Don't let it put you off helping the others who appreciate the offer. Fiat 500 do well, BMW & mercedes fail ,daf lorries bonnets fly open when they hit water at speed. Keep up the good work
What a couple of bell ends those two in van and trailer turned out to be, glad you left them there looking stupid after giving it big guns trying to get through the flood .
Technically I’m on side that this could be added to another example of *failure of infrastructure across the west* in Canada we have same issues the government will not increase aging infrastructure or even rebuild it with out factory of red tape and environmental impact studies....dragging on for decades and side bar look across many other western countries..
not so much a like so much as a LOL that people think they can ford cars thru that depth of water.. though some of the wagons went for it good and propper ;)
That astra now has a nice bent rod What muppets in that transit act like mongs then cuz they screwed up and all embarrassed they give it the big 1 to you and enjoy sitting there for hours haha knobs 😂
Top Video 👌🏼, might have to take a trip myself 😂
Yo Yooo haha thanks for watching! End of day somewhere different than rufford never hurt no one! Give me a call or text ill let you know if its worth travelling down first 😂
No excuse for that behaviour from the gardener, much respect for you guys it is a more dangerous job than most realise! Stay safe pal
How rude were the landy landscapers!!!! Good man for leaving them there 👏🏻 👍🏻

What a star. Keep up the hard work.
Loved it could have watched a couple of hours of this sort of thing👍👍👍
7:33 Fair play to the fiat 500. Nice and steady 😎😎😎
Funny thing is, it's a 2 min detour round the back to avoid all this! 😂

Ledgend as always🎉
12:29 funny if that guy now phoned round for a recovery and ended phoning you up 😆😆😆
Hey, just found your channel. Drove through loads of water on Saturday. Even the multi storey carpark was flooded.
'ey up Greg. Let's gooo to Lake Sandonia 😆😆😆
Ledgend as always
You knew it as soon as that van with mower on the back slowed it was game over 😆😆😆
Totally enjoyed that vid it was better than ruffled ford..that fiat 500😢
Brave (albeit rude and misguided) man taking a mk8 transit through water.... ours breaks down every excuse it gets.
😆🤣
Keep up the good workmom
Fantastic 👍👍
Hi Greg was that red Astra on the trailer the same one that went through the flood water 👍👍great video ⛔⛔⚠️🚳
Aldi in Stafford is getting like this 😂
I'm sure fuel stations have separate tanks for four court drainage. If they have any thing in them. Petroleum products float?

Burke Bros were enjoying themselves, weren't they?

18:30 oooh it's your mates 😆😆😆
Can you show us your warning lights setup?

Thanks to volunteer like you is possible that. ty
You may as well get canal boat as rescue vehicle
Nice 😂😂
That road needs a name change to Wateron Road!
That got much deeper during your video…look at the Mercedes in the water at the start then at the finish 😮😮
what engine is in the Disco Greg? 🚛
So many modern vehicles have their air intake low down behind the bumper they must suck up every little bit of damp and debris, it makes me wonder how they can make it through even light showers.
Price on Morrisons petrol station, its 150.9 here in North West. LMAO that van man who cursed you 😂
Was the 500 electric?
Is there not another road that Stafford folk can use to avoid that nightmare? I wouldn’t go near that in my Fiat 500 that’s for sure 😬😬

The constant waves can't be doing that Merc any good!
Dosey buggers if you turn left before the flood to junction turn right to the end of street turn left or right miss the puddle simples

Hmm. The Mercedes car is definitively the elephant in the room. Why is is parked with open window and parked facing the pond?
So, do you know what DID happen to the Merc?
So many ice cars getting hydro locked
Burke Bros got nothing better to do than keep driving to/from ?
What a Burke.

Wouldn’t want to get fuel from that station 💧
🤿

Why do you do it for free? It's very good of you to do so. Uttoxeter was bedlam yesterday and needed you.
thats only a puddle man
What a couple of bell ends those two in van and trailer turned out to be, glad you left them there looking stupid after giving it big guns trying to get through the flood .
Embarrassed but rude . Like how you were applauding well done to vehicles going through correctly 👍
Watching that defender with a snorkel go on the court made me sad. That's never been used in a fun manner in its life.
I should imagine the ditch diggers ( landscapers) were probably just deeply embarrassed by their self inflicted predicament.
And all they did with a big mouth was make it last even longer, people get what they deserve, and he got it,
What diet has the Michelin man been on? 😅
He will bounce back
How the 500 doesn't drink water???
Ev maybe?
You said you would have given a FREE pull out so why was he rude ?
Little FUAT rear high mounted engine.........no probs.
engine is front mounted on these, the old ones were rear mounted.
I don't know why anyone would want to chance it
the red 500 got thru coz its a flood 500,would have being funny in landscape crew rang for a pull out
See you try and help and people are so nasty just live them there lol
Foriegn owned wster companies not sorting the drains out.
Staffordshire water company in British owned and the local councils are responsible for cleaning the drains

ALL WE NEED TOO DOO is clear the grids like in europe .we are lazy .
That astra now has a nice bent rod
What muppets in that transit act like mongs then cuz they screwed up and all embarrassed they give it the big 1 to you and enjoy sitting there for hours haha knobs 😂
Re charge your EV here, you will find the charge Shocking, lol
TREVOR HARRIS
You got time to watch people potentially getting stranded ! But no time to answer a question from a was fan !
?
Woman in Astra sees a stricken van in a deep flood… he can’t of driven fast enough, I’ll just go faster
Help they cant swim
Further anything over 5 MPH is too fast
imagine being rude to someone who is offering help for free with no benefit
That doesn't look good for Mercedes. lol
Why don't the Garage or the tyre people clear the drain.
The police dote have to block the road the dummies will do it for them 😂😂😂
