@@carole1878 No, it didn't happen her conscience is seared, and her motivation to even communicate with me was only about money and to try and talk me into signing away my rights so she could be paid for his disability "aspergers" which isn't bad and my inlaws and herself chipped away at my relationship with my son is basically destroyed and he no longer wants contact with me. That was 11 years of work on their behalf to take that away. I did everything possible I could to save that. I was afraid money was the only motivation and knew that in my heart because of a history with her other children, but I always had hope and gave the benefit of the doubt that there were a change and the fact she said she was Christian. I had a great relationship with my son but now I just have to wait on him to either come back into my life or not and so I have prepared my heart for that to either happen or not and anything I try will be taken away emotionally from the other side, and what they did worked, it's pretty easy to do with a child with his condition. So it's all in God's hands and the memories and father-son moments he has in his mind. That's on me also because the red flags were all over the place before I got married and I was a venerable new Christian trying to do the right thing. It's sad but not, because now looking back God and others were giving me those warnings I chose not to listen because I didn't have the heart to walk away in the beginning and in my foolish heart thought things would change when we got married. I learned a very hard lesson, but worse than that a child has to pay that also.
same with me. With Ego - we divorced when we don't know who God was in the past. I encountered Jesus in my life and my ex did not. I want my Lord and Savior to help him open his eyes and repent before we remarry. Right now he doesn't even think of any such ideas but me for sake of my minor children.

I left my husband and regretted my decision. I tried to get him back and he said he didn't think we could ever work out our problems and the years of pain...but said maybe some day. I then turned it all over to God, as I was broken and didn't know what my path was. It wasn't but several days later that my husband and I talked. He told me that he wanted me to come home. We are committed to making our marriage work. I know that had I not turned to God, this would probably not have happened. I am making arrangements to move back across the country and be home by the end of October. Have faith. Let God show you the way.

What a tremendous testimony to God's faithfulness. Contrary to the siren song of our culture, marriage is not about making us happy. Certainly there are moments of happiness but we were created for far more than the satisfaction of our wants and desires. I would say pray for yourself to be a changed person and go for honest therapy on your own. My husband kept saying he's a changed person several times but we hit rock bottom everytime we tried. Growing apart with no personality disorders, cheating is different.

This was encouraging up to 20 minutes. It is telling that in too many marriage conversations there is an apology to and affirmation for the remarried instead of a clear exhortation from Scripture of Jesus' words that it is adultery to divorce and marry again (Lu 16:18, 1 Cor 7:11).

I have been divorced 7 years & thought that God was going to restore my marriage however my ex husband is marrying the woman he had an affair with. My marriage was a mess from the beginning, 2 immature.persons. Got mentally sick under the constant negative Input from my husband. Even made me unable to work regularly. @@carole1878 No, it didn't happen her conscience is seared, and her motivation to even communicate with me was only about money and to try and talk me into signing away my rights so she could be paid for his disability "aspergers" which isn't bad and my inlaws and herself chipped away at my relationship with my son is basically destroyed and he no longer wants contact with me. That was 11 years of work on their behalf to take that away. I did everything possible I could to save that. I was afraid money was the only motivation and knew that in my heart because of a history with her other children, but I always had hope and gave the benefit of the doubt that there were a change and the fact she said she was Christian. I had a great relationship with my son but now I just have to wait on him to either come back into my life or not and so I have prepared my heart for that to either happen or not and anything I try will be taken away emotionally from the other side, and what they did worked, it's pretty easy to do with a child with his condition. So it's all in God's hands and the memories and father-son moments he has in his mind. That's on me also because the red flags were all over the place before I got married and I was a venerable new Christian trying to do the right thing. It's sad but not, because now looking back God and others were giving me those warnings I chose not to listen because I didn't have the heart to walk away in the beginning and in my foolish heart thought things would change when we got married. I learned a very hard lesson, but worse than that a child has to pay that also.
same with me. With Ego - we divorced when we don't know who God was in the past. I encountered Jesus in my life and my ex did not. I want my Lord and Savior to help him open his eyes and repent before we remarry. Right now he doesn't even think of any such ideas but me for sake of my minor children.

I left my husband and regretted my decision. I tried to get him back and he said he didn't think we could ever work out our problems and the years of pain...but said maybe some day.
I then turned it all over to God, as I was broken and didn't know what my path was. It wasn't but several days later that my husband and I talked. He told me that he wanted me to come home. We are committed to making our marriage work. I know that had I not turned to God, this would probably not have happened.
I am making arrangements to move back across the country and be home by the end of October.

I would say pray for yourself to be a changed person and go for honest therapy on your own. My husband kept saying he's a changed person several times but we hit rock bottom everytime we tried. Growing apart with no personality disorders, cheating is different.

Wow such a beautiful testimony. This popped up on my tube and I started watching. This a conversation for me that God restores no matter the cause, his a forgiven God. My God my God when I tell you he is real is a underestimate. God restored my family after all the Cheating splitting up another guy who was a great guy to my future wife. I prayed 2 months straight day n night and I asked him to open a window to talk and literally after 2 days later we back together. It went from he not going nowhere to come home. The twist is I was atheist. Ain't no way I deserve this grace it favor all the times I messed up. It's hope with God ppl I can't believe it. Tears of joy . My God is real I'm so happy right now . Don't give up. If u truly pray with your heart n listen God will change everything. I am living proof. I am proof. God is real. @@lindab2312 they both are believers, they both agree to get a divorce, they both ended up in 2 different relationships, they both are 48 years of age, last time they was together was when they were 25 yrs of age far as married, however since my husband and I been married they still be sleeping around with each other...I have spoken to her she knows about me she said she have moved on, and didnt want no part of him anymore, however they r back in contact with each other, my emotions are being played with
