For me it's more the case that (at the moment - not necessarily going forward) without that Buster resistance debuff, the value he brings on his own debuffs + his own damage just aren't enough to out-qualify alternatives. @@SuneDunes I just upgraded my second Paracelsus to 1/10/10 to make an esports version, because I leveled my old one to level 70 so he can clear the first wave in the lotto node, so already used a handful of bones 😭
The berserk I raised to carry me up to London, still take him out to clear a wave or two on easy quests. I hope Lasengle gives him half decent skill updates. Even a 20% NP battery would increase his viability. Or they could go the hybrid route and upgrade one of his skills to a charisma.
That Buster Resist Down effect cannot come soon enough for Darius in NA. Even with his event bonus from the Christmas lottery, his damage output is woefully below other servants. I've been relying on my AOE Sabers without event bonuses (like Fergus and Mordred) to wipe out enemies in the last farming node instead of him because they can actually take out targets with one use of their NPs. If Aniplex ever want to make him even better for farming later, they'd do well to give him the same treatment that MHX had; basic skill buffs. When she came out, her skillset was completely atrocious and not at all worth leveling. Turns out, just throwing in basic upgrades like hard defense, an attack buff and an enemy defense debuff really skyrocket her usefulness. If he gets even just one self ATK buff, Darius could be a good wave killer with his BRD.
Wow. I...honestly forgot he was in the game. I honest to god forgot, because I remember him much more fondly from fate Extella, where he towers above everyone. The good man really needs an animation update. Bad. For someone that is Alex's rival, this needs to be fixed XD
He is tragically forgettable here - removing the JPEGs would be a solid start! At least something that makes him distinctive would be nice - again, other than being the Grand JPEG
i used darius a lot so far for ember farming alongside sparticus and support raikou. technically any aoe berzerker could probably do his job but...idk...i just kinda picked him first
Haha that's fair enough! It can definitely often be the case that whatever works, works! And any Servant can be made to work well (well, almost every Servant) - it's just some are a bit harder than most!

He's a *Boss-Killer.* AOE Buster NP with a high hit count that can generate a good chunk of stars, two survival skills, and a gorilla deck. And _zero battery._ He's a Berserker meant for use in multi-target boss battles. Seriously, use him against- say- that Summer CQ in the Tesla Cup and you'll see what I mean.

The buster resist debuff doesn't scale with level it's maxxed out at 20% at level 1 which is nice. He has good base damage tbh.
When together, he's a pretty decent farmer for what it's worth! Just waiting for it to arrive (and indeed, with the buff that it starts out maxed!)
