For 2024 (and all previous years) the Wranglers all have the exterior mirrors on the doors. You mentioned on the Willys trim and up get mirrors attached forward that stay when doors are off, but that is not the case. So, for now all Wranglers will have mirrors attached to the doors like before. Maybe the next generation (JM?) will be designed with mirrors that stay on when the doors come off.
Beautiful Jeep! Hydro Blue is my favorite color and it looks amazing in person out in the sunlight.
Jeep did quite a few nice upgrades for 2024.....now the Willys gets 33" BFG KO2 tires and 4.10 gears with a rear locker which makes it a "Rubicon lite" and worth the few bucks more vs the Sport S

Nice Jeep! I kind of followed the same path as you.... I had a two door JK Wrangler for several years. I decided I needed a truck so I traded the Jeep for my third toyota truck. After about a year and a half I started missing my Jeep. Don't get me wrong, The Tacoma was great and I loved it but just kept missing having a Jeep. I ended up trading again and bought a new 2018 JL Wrangler. Like you, I bought a utility trailer to use for hauling stuff. I've had it 5 years now and still love it! I do like the big infotainment screen you have in that 2024! I love the two door too. I went with a four door just for a liitle extra space for camping but you can't beat the looks of a two door! Will be watching for some Jeep content. I subbed!

I am a jeep wrangler lover myself, currently have a 23 2 door. I have concerns with the new cloth covered dash, curious to see how well it will clean and antenna in the front windshield. I'm sure you could scotch guard the dash, but... that windshield is really going to get expensive!! I am impressed with the old school lighter..reminds me of when I was young! The color is beautiful!
Thank you,the color really stood out .I’ve never been a blue vehicle person,but this blue popped with me.I have thought about the dash too, it’s just me and the wife for the most part, so I’m not real concerned with that.BUT TH WINDSHIELD got me a lil nervous haha 😂.That is my number one concern, it does have gorilla glass, but as you would know, those windshields are susceptible to say the least.I sure appreciate the comment and watching.I will be doing update videos, and different videos on the jeep so I for sure will keep everyone updated.
That’s the exact concern I have , especially the fabric on dashboard. That’s the factor kinda pushing me to 2023 model. Come on Jeep 🤦♂️

Looks good, nice color. I have a 2022 two door Wrangler and love it. Put rock rails and all terrain tires on it for the trails.

The last new Jeep I owned was a 79 the new femnology is incredible, but I surprised it doesn't have a tampon dispenser.
I had a 76 cj7 renegade .With a 304 v8,was a tank!! But the 2.0 turbo on this would smoke that V8.Now with that being said I was a teenager when I had the 76.I beat it like a rented Ox 🐂!!Out over a 100k HARD miles and it held up.Don’t know that I could say that about this one if I treated it like I did that one.But age has slowed me down!! Haha
Glad you talked about the grill because I was like "wait a minute I thought the 24s had a new grill". Thanks for cleaning that up. Love it. I heard the 24s are more quiet on the road. Did yo notice anything different sound wise?
Your welcome,and thank you for watching.I rides quiet,very pleased.I haven’t had it out on interstate (where I will do 70ish) .Only put about 100 miles on it.But so far so good.I will be putting out lots of vids 😂and updates on it.
From what I have heard, Jeep added the same extra sound insulation they used for the diesel Wrangler to all Wranglers for 2024….plus some laminated glass on the doors. Some videos compared a 2023 to a 2024 and it was 2-3 dbs quiter. I think the Gorilla glass also helps some with this too.
@@wranglerlife4ever42 I was wondering if gorilla glass would help.I think it does.When I bought it we hadn’t went 10 miles and the wife even said it’s Jeep is quieter than your other Jeeps.As far as insulation ,it doesn’t have any on freedom panels (unless it’s built in?).But yes does definitely seem lot more quiet.

The extra insulation will be under the floor carpet to make it quiter from what I have heard. The hardtop can be optioned with some insulation foam pads from the factory or you can get them aftermarket (hot heads is one)

I picked up a 2024 Sport S 2D in the same color a few days ago.
That’s AWESOME!! The dealer I got mine from had 2 (mine) and a Rubicon 4 door the same color.The Hydro Blue might be the color this year.How you liking yours?
@@jeepthings8875 I love it! I do miss my 2017 JK 2D sport but it was modded so much it was hard to drive 65+ MPH. The engine is zippy and now my MPG is 20+. I want to change the blow off value on the turbo to get more turbo noises. But I don’t want to mess anything up. Oh and that infotainment screen is HUGE! I think ford bringing back the Bronco was the best thing that could of happened for the Wrangler….LOL.

I need to see this cloth dash, grey cloth, and yellow stitching in person to see if it’s a game changer. I’m leaning Rubicon X but the lower price of the Sport S and Rubicon base is enticing.
@@rvdown11 so far (one month) the cloth dash is doing great.Love the look,was apprehensive if it would/will get dirty.So far so good.The 2 door sport s in this area are going for $40-43k.The 2 door rubicons are going for $55 🫣.

That’s a great question.I haven’t seen anything on the 24 Gladiator yet.But the interior is the same as the jeep wrangler. So one might think that they would go ahead and convert it in 24. Also be curious to see.
Looking forward to when I can order a 24 Willys. My local dealer says Jerep is only building 4Xe for now
Salesmen are like politicians, you can tell they're lying because their lips are moving. I would look for other sources to see if that's true.
Are you still wanting a 24 Willys? If you are near Massachusetts, Beterra in Springfield has a 24 Willys 4 door. It's silver and has a boat load of options for $51,000. I think the only negative thing about a 24 is that it comes with the new Uconnect5. We had it in a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and it was so glitchy that traded the Jeep back in after only 6 months.

@@djkenny1202 You might be able to find a new one for that price. However, it won't have an engine! Understand one thing, these things are never going down in price--well maybe the Gladiators.
@@AStanton1966 the base with manual windows and locks; I believe the MSRP is 30, or 32k. Now that the market is cooling (a lot) they might discount it further.
The 4 door hydro blue is amazing- and the price is almost the same
I had a Hydro blue four-door passed me on the interstate the other day I’m guessing it was approximately a 2016 or 17 model they had it set up perfect too. It was sharp.

Thank you very much .One other thing I wish Jeep would do in a 2 door is.Do like 2 door bronco,which is make the back seat split.I take my back seat out which is good.But if it was split you could have a passenger and fold other side down for storage.

Thank you .That’s the first thing I did on my other jeeps.Plus I got rid of the plastic guard below the front bumper.I’ve looked at that already haha ,it does look a lil different.Hopelessly it will be a easy process like the others .

If I remember correctly, the “euro bumper” on the Sport and Sport S is all one piece and if you want to remove that aero/splashguard attached to the bumper and fender it must be cut with a reciprocating saw as its all molded together. Might be easier just to remove and replace it
@@wranglerlife4ever42 I haven’t dug too deep into it yet. But it does look definitely different. It’s like there’s from what little. I have looked at it a rubber piece between the bumper and the lower grill. On the 23’s on down it was just some rivets to pop out literally and I think two screws in the plastic cover underneath the bumper that may be my next video project ha ha just to check it out and see what needs to be done like I said that was the first thing I did was take that piece off looks much better For sure

Thank you ,I sure appreciate it.I’ve had JL ‘s in the past and this is on par with the others as far as build quality.The infotainment center/screen is the same in the aspect of Freezing up.It froze up on me today(now it will unfreeze when you turn off for a lil bit) but dang out of the 4 JL’s I’ve had ,small screen,medium size screen and now the new large screen all the same.As far as all other aspects ,it seems to be pretty solid.Tgankks for watching

Question about the airbags where you put grab handles? Are you still able to put the handles on or not?
That is a very good question. The wife and I were discussing I had noticed it and I try to find something from what I found. As of right now the answer would be no unfortunately. I’m sure someone will make a quick release so if the airbags deployed they would break away quickly, but that was one of the first things we always purchased just a habit to hang onto them especially off-road.

Thank you very much.They are Obulbs by Olight.I had them in my ford Ranger bed for lighting it up.They are magnetic 🧲.Also magnetic recharge.They stick to the bolts/screws on the latches in Jeep to take freedom panels off.I have several Olights they are all great .
Three weeks ago I bought a 2024 Wrangler 4dr sport 2.0T 8 speed auto 3.5" lift 18" Fuel wheels with 35" Nitto's for 46K and change. I'm pumping up the jam! Hear me!?

Not sure about the fabric on the dash. Looks new and different, but will have to see how it holds up over time to weather and usage. Nothing like fabric hanging off the dash to ruin your day.
I have to say I’m wondering the same thing.I really like the look of it.I was looking at a rubicon they had on showroom floor,while I was getting mine.It had identical dash,so I’m hoping it’s durable since they put it in Rubicon also .🤞

Excellent question.The 2 door isn’t as smooth of of ride as a 4 door .It’s fine to me,and the road noise/wind noise isn’t bad at all(with hard top) .But the 4 door wranglers ride exceptionally smooth.Thanks for the watch

Awesome Jeep! Unfortunately, the Gorilla Glass is absolutely worthless. It'll crack just as easily as the regular windshield.

If you're going down the road at 80mpg and some semi flips up a rock at you, that's a pretty big impact.
As much as we'd like to blame Jeep for using crappy glass, it's just by nature of the design of the vehicle. That'll never change so long as we've got upright windshields. Just gotta go out and enjoy it.

Sport S is really the best trim. All the necessities, none of the fluff.
I agree. It gives me what I want being that I don’t do any major rock crawling or vehicle damaging trails ha ha. This will do everything and more that I want.
I would say that the 2024 Willys is the best bang for the buck since it has better wheels/tires, the new style grill, LED lights, Rubicon shocks, nicer bumpers, highline front fenders (extra inch of articulation clearance), all weather floor mats, trailer tow receiver hitch, better alternator, off-road plus mode, aux switches, rock rails, Dana44 front axle, and a rear locking differential, all standard for only $2,500 more than a Sport S with LED.

Darn Jeep is really trying to make them as cheap as they can. They don't even put good brand tires anymore. Granted lots of people get rid of the factory wheels and tires as a first mod but some other wait till they get worn out
To be honest i don’t really know anything about Nexen.Ive had Nitto and Falken tires.But I’ll probably run these awhile .I’ll keep updates on them posted.Hope they will last a lil while .
Nice Jeep and I know you’ll enjoy it! Just can’t believe the prices these days. Yeah, I sound like an old geezer…only 60! However, I ordered my 2015 (picked it up 1 Aug 2014) Jeep from the factory, Hydro Blue Rubicon 4-door just the way I wanted and it was only $38,700…. $41,000 OTD with taxes, tag, freight, etc. She has 120,000 miles now and looks great! I added the leveling kit and 33” KO2’s. Love it! I had an 06 Taco and would routinely ask Jeep owners what they liked about their Jeeps. They almost always said “It’s fun!” What the heck did they mean? After owning mine for 9 years now…I get it! THEY’RE FUN! Even my wife likes driving it around town. Enjoy!!!
I feel ya I’m 57 we’re close haha. everything is getting so high. I know everyone says that throughout the generations but it just seems a little extra now so glad you enjoy your jeep and yes jeeps don’t drive as well as 90% of other vehicles. I have a two door so it bounces all over the place but some thing about it I absolutely love, especially when it does come to taking it off road or bad weather the confidence you get is amazing, I sure appreciate hearing about your jeep and you watching the video and I hope you and your wife have many more years of enjoyment out of your jeep

I have to call bull on your mirror placement on higher models. If that were true how would you plug the EV model in since that is the location for the plug? It's a 30k tire just like the Bridgestone that is accustom to those JL's. As far as the front grill it depends when you order or buy from lot if it has the new grill or not. If you are unaware it is cheaper to order one than to buy off the lot.
You are correct on mirror placement.I had been looking at Broncos and Wranglers.The Broncos had the mirror not Wranglers.

Hello great question.My 24 sport s was $42,305.Thats with $1000 off.Most dealers around here do 1k to 2k off MSRP.I got mine in August.The new sport s rolling in are still the same price.
Like the video I don't care about entertainment radio means nothing to me as a seasoned jeep owner. Other than that she is a beauty love 2 door models!!
The new screen/entertainment center looks great to me.Buuuut it’s still a Jeep haha.This is my 4th JL .(had a CJ 7 way back ). I’ve had the different screen sizes they all want to take a break every once in a while and they’re just gonna freeze up and when they decide to come back or they’ll come back on ha ha thanks for the watch.
I will never understand, Why they put the mirrors on the doors ? And , did away with the metal bumpers. Cause, those plastic bumpers will look like crap ,after a few months driving in the wilderness ? I'll be glad when they go back to off roading instead of city cruising ?
But , there is some new features, I really like and cloth seats is the way to go.
Unless, you prefer a hot seats, when your top is off ?

You welcome and thanks for the watch.I 💯agree on mirrors.Especially since the broncos didn’t put on doors .They do have metal bumpers ,buuut ya have to get on up in the $$$$ to get factory,unfortunately.From what I’ve seen it’s not to difficult to swap if it does get worn.
NEXEN Roadian ATX? Strange. The base model came with the (technically) best quality tires: Michelin LTX M/S2. Those are rated at 80,000 miles and you can seriously get that out of them. They are expensive, too. Strange to see NEXEN on the aluminum wheels. I doubt those NEXEN tires will get 80k (like the Michelins) or 60,000 miles (like Jeep’s previous used Goodyear Wrangler SA on their Sport S). Time will tell I guess.
I’m wondering the same thing.I’ve never had NEXEN before.The Rubicons still have KO2. I will keep updated on how they are wearing.
How did he buy it 2 days ago and have license plates already? If in Washington, we deal with temp plates for everybit of 3 months
In Missouri they slap tags off your old vehicle onto new vehicle.Regardless of what your driving.Example I traded ford ranger/truck.Jeep is a SUV.I have 30 days to register pay sales tax (which should be zero 😊) because I got more out of Ranger than the Jeep $$.Just pay registration and plate fees prolly be $40 bucks total.
The first thing I would do is lose the Morlan advertisement on the back of the Jeep. Then you will have a nearly perfect Jeep.

If my memory serves me correctly 😂.Im pretty sure on the sport and sport s.It comes with traditional grill, which are interchangeable with all JL models.The black grills are on trim levels above sport S.

The window sticker was $42,305 the dealer had $2,000 off.Ended up being $40,305. this particular dealer always has discounts off window stickers, which I like ha ha.
I thought Sport S was 35k? Did automatic and few options increase it $5000?
I couldn’t find any pictures of the door mirrors being moved on the 2024.
Sorry,they are not moved.Someone else noted that too.I had been looking at broncos and Jeeps when I purchased this wrangler.Apparently I got mixed up .It is on Bronco but not on wrangler.I’m going to correct that on next vid.

The dealership I purchased this one from also had a Rubicon four-door in the Hydro blue. It was awesome and they had $2000 marked off of it. Also I believe the final sticker price was $61,840.

Wellll that jeep got totaled 🧐. But I did wonder about that myself. Will have a new video coming out within the next week and what I have now, but it’s a legit question on how that dash would handle dirt and dust.
I need to buy a jeep so I can wear a jeep tshirt. I'm either going to buy a 2024, wrangler, tacoma, ranger, canyon, or Land Rover. I'm so confused. I'm going to have to wait until they all show up at dealerships sit in them all, watch all the reviews of them all and then flip a coin, maybe roll a dice.
Bahahaha I have a ton of Jeep T shirts from my previous Jeeps.That’s one thing Jeep T-shirt’s are all over the place.As far as other options I had a 2021 ford Ranger fx4 ,it was great! But I thought I wanted a Tacoma soooo I got a 2022 TRD off-road ,not for me .The Ranger smoked it in all areas.But they are doing a total refresh .I had a white Tacoma the pain was coming off faster than I could find it.Apparently it has been going on for years with the white Tacomas .I have some vids on each.As far as land rover they look sweet especially the Defenders.But they are notorious for being unreliable .My wife had a Land Rover LR2 it lasted 125k.If anything goes wrong it’s a pain to find someone to work on them(we live 3 hrs away from land rover dealer,pluse it 3times the cost to get repaired.If I win the lottery I would get a Defender tho 😂.Hope this helps and you find the perfect vehicle .
Thats a very interesting cross shopping list of vehicles. If you are looking for a mid-size truck, the new Nissan Frontier is a very nice truck that isnt overpriced and has a V6 engine. Pass on the Ranger. The new Canyon and Colorado are nice (but very pricey) and only come with a turbo 4cyl now. The Tacoma could have been better and for 2024 I think Toyota is addressing some shortcomings.
Usually the Wrangler and Bronco are cross-shopped since they are very similar. I would choose the 2024 Wrangler over the Bronco myself.
Keep in mind, a Wrangler will hold its value very very well over the years. Tacoma does too.
Have you seen the new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser? For $55-$60k thats a mean machine and will no doubt run forever.
Land Rover? If you have deep pockets and even deeper pockets for maintenance. Resale on Land Rovers are pitiful.
