There definitely isn’t a sequel because Dr.Seuss’s whife was so horrified by this movie she straight up banned any further live action adaptations of her late husbands works.

8:52 - You are absolutely right; this scene was very traumatizing as a child. As a matter of fact- most of this movie was traumatizing. It unsettles me DEEPLY to this day. It gives off MAJOR uncanny valley vibes. It's unsettling in a similar way to stuff like Lazy Town, James and the Giant Peach, or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Not for me i loved everything about this movie even stuff that now days i wonder how i saw this as an qmazing movie, its still good tho

I love this movie. This movie taught everybody lessons about honesty, responsibility, making up for your mistakes, paid attention what's going on around you, and getting your priorities straight. Most important lesson is you had to know when enough is enough. I love Cat planning all along to teach Conrad and Sally lessons whole entire time.
This is literally my favorite movie, nostalgia aside. Mike Myers is too damn funny! GLAD YOU WATCHED!
I watched this movie so much as a small child that I knew all the words. To remeber an entire script as a seven or eight year old tells you just how much i loved this, I would wake up before everyne in my house so I could watch it more I was obsessed

1. The film’s message shows a little bit of responsibility, trust, and honesty. Cat taught Conrad that he shouldn’t go crazy, and understand when he’s gone too far. Cat taught Sally that she shouldn’t be as bossy, and to loasen up a bit.
2. The two best words to describe this film: FEVER DREAM

the little girl is Dakota fanning, she’s an amazing actress, she was in the twilight movies for one!
Also Me and my sister tried rewatching this movie like a year or so ago, we got super high to watch and about halfway through we both literally like short circuited and passed out😂 our brains literally could not compute this movie

As Bizarre and acid trip as this movie is, it is pure childhood and an absolute cinematic masterpiece. This film is so bizarre and fever dream that it's just hilarious. This movie is truly one-of-a-kind since it includes so many unique elements that add to its greatness.
I watched this over and over as a kid and just liked the chaos, but now as a 30 year old, I love it even MORE... AND I now understand the adult jokes lol

I loved this movie growing up. I never realized just how hectic it really is lmao. Also Dakota fanning (Sally) has done so much since this. She was in the twilight series. My favorite movie with her in it is uptown girls, it's a really good movie, you should definitely do a reaction to it 😊
