Hi Emma, I love this technique with gesso and watercolor, it's so much fun and your pages look beautiful! I also love how you always sound so happy, it's refreshing! Thank you so much for sharing!😊💞
I thought gesso was only for acrylics 😱I'll try it with watercolors now, thanks for the tips
thank you Erica!!! very helpful!!! just starting with water medium. Used clear gesso and could not figure out the roughness added to paper! Brilliant!
Loved this tutorial! More please!
Love this! Yes, definitely would like to see more of this ❤
Great video. Very helpful.
Really helpful video, thank you. I d love to watch more . But then I'm addicted to watching other people use water media. I'm also curious if anyone uses the golden glazing liquid as a page prep, and then also in acrylic paint on the page. It says on the bottle it is to elongate drying time and make the acrylic more transparent looking. I've just purchased a bottle of it, not used it at all yet.
Awesome!❤
Great ideas Erica! Love to get tips on working in amazon printed books. Thank you so much and I look forward to more future videos.
Super-duper helpful. Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate!
Loved this! Please share more! Maybe creative haven? ❤️
I can add that to the list for sure ☺️ Until then, Colorfully Optomistic has some great Inktense and Creative Haven videos. Check out her channel.
Thanks for the tips!
definitely like to see more of these pages, esp the sanding? do you use regular sandpaper or is it art sandpaper? love the finished page
Thanks so much! I use an old sanding block that I used to use for scrapbooking. It unfortunately unavailable now, but a very fine grit sandpaper should work just as well.
Very pretty 😅
😊

Do you happen to have any links to the books as I can't find them on amazon and thanks for your video xx
Here is the Coco Wyo Fairy book I used amzn.to/3RlDxy5 and one of the Janna Prosvirina books amzn.to/4bPlzfB . If you search for Janna Prosvirina you can find a ton of her books. ☺️ Thanks for watching!!
This is amazing..what do you mean by you sanded it down? How did you sand it and not scratch up the paper? Interesting! I put some liquid stuff you used in my cart but not sure about the sanding thing 😂🤣. Thank you for the video. I’m always amazed with all your pages. I look forward to your videos every week.. 💕
Thanks! I just use very light pressure and remove the top layer of texture. Then use a brush to wipe away any dust left behind. As long as you don’t push hard, you can sand it ☺️
@@Elmcolors thank you Erica for getting back to me..what do you use to sand it with? Do you use like real sandpaper to make it smooth? I’m sorry if these questions sound dumb.. I’m want to use water in my books but I don’t dare for fear of ruining my books. Thank you again for taking the time to get back to me.
@@mona9186 No problem!! I use a sanding block. The one I use is no longer available unfortunately. But you can get a very fine grit sand paper and that should work just as good.
@@Elmcolors Awesome! Thank you so much for the info..I’ll purchase that as well. Appreciate your help 💕
