    A tear comes to my eye every time I see this scene. This is at the core of Western Imperialism.

    • @jipeon
      @jipeon 7 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Also, there's that mantra a lot of black women carry: "I don't need no man". That's fine when you're single, I guess, but when there's a kid involved, that's a irresponsible way of thinking. A child needs both a mother and father like a plant needs the sun and water to grow.

    • @lunalily220
      @lunalily220 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      jipeon so what do you expect black women to do when they are abandoned with children? Keep seeking other men... she'd be a hoe then. A woman can do bad by herself she don't need a MAN to make it worse

    • @jipeon
      @jipeon 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If a man leaves or dies or something like that, how can you blame the woman? I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is, some black women go into a relationship carrying those principles, not caring what it does to the child. I've seen it faaar too many times. It comes back to burn them. Then the mother goes around saying the father ain't spit, the child see's that, and now has a distorted view on what a man should and could be.
      A simple remedy would be; take time know who you're "seeing" and make sure that he/she is the right person to co-parent and raise your child. This goes for both parties.

    This scene makes you forget that it's just an actor (Henry Cele, amazing actor) playing Shaka Zulu, and feel like you're watching Shaka himself. It's also sad at the same time, because Lt. Farewell is worried for Shaka, only to realize that Shaka's behavior is the result of the both of their political conduct, and they both just seem so heartbroken even though they'd once become close friends. This entire series was truly Shakespearean in all its majesty...

European super power woukd not have existed. But the curse of Ego, White Supremacy worship, lack of forsight and ridiculous superstition plagued my people then and plagues my people still. @gnicevids 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Adverd Modibedi ok bro historically the European was so afraid of shaka and his army that they would even enter his region or the land. Once they had it first encounter with the Shaka Zulu they were afraid of the chants and the drums and the the look ofnhis army the european retreat to there ships and stay ashore or in neighboring tribe to bribe them so they could get ride of shaka Zulu for them or with them. It was only after the assassination of Shaka Zulu at the hand of his half brothers. Only his predessors face the Europeans. Shaka keep them so far at bay that they feared his presence bro. That why they made the movie the way they did in order to minimize his power he has over them. Read the history books made from the Zulu or African themselves not the European version because they dilute it so much. They don't even have an accurate picture of him because they never really saw him and fear him so much. I listen and watch the video of DR. CLARK. He is a renown and a great man of truth and history. He has a video call the truth of the Zulu people or the truth or Shaka Zulu. People feared this man bro wouldn't even look at his face. Shaka also made deal with the African news and made a treaty to give them land West of his nation I believe. But please look up what I'm saying or watch the videos of Dr Clark or any African historian you won't be disappointed bro. Thank for asking

      gnicevids why isnt it true?

    • @gnicevids
      @gnicevids 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I Am Chedda because if you know the history of the Zulu and Shaka Zulu they never meet or saw each other the way the movie portray it. The whites came to conquer and Shaka Zulu and his army keep them from.coming inland and most stayed in their boats. They were totally afraid of Shaka Zulu and his army. When they heard the drums and the shouting of the Shaka and his army the took off running. They was no meetings or whites at all in Shaka presence. He believe that they were devil's only coming to take their resources and land. They tried many times to attack and have him assassinated by traitors but to no avail. That's why the have no pictures and don't even know what Shaka looks like. Read on it none of thus ever happened. It want until Shaka died that they came onto the land and fought to gain it from corrupted Zulu leadership if his half brothers.
      You really think that the European woul .make something that accurate to show how Europeans feared Africans. Yes they feared us and the homeland people. Shaka even gave land with a treaty to the news that Stayed in the area. Please research what I'm saying and know for thyself and teach others
