Hi Sarah I am the target audience for this one and truthfully I am interested in it. Unlike the Boots version, this actually has a decent amount of phytoestrogens. I don't think it will do much (apart from moisturise) those without estrogen deficient skin though. Until you go through menopause (my last period was four years ago at age 46) you can't begin to appreciate the havoc it plays with your skin. I had more aging in the last couple of years of perimenopause than I had seen in several years otherwise. Now I do use retinaldehyde and azelaic acid (both of which have helped with density and texture of the skin), but this type of product is more of a supporting role I feel. I like PC products and tend to have good luck with them, so this is appealing to me. I would try at least a couple of bottles to see if it was worth it to me - after all I use a hydrating/calming serum always anyway. If nothing else this should function in this capacity, but there is a chance I would see some plumping etc. it's also about managing expectations and I'm not expecting miracles. It won't be suitable for those with estrogen receptive cancers either btw. As to being a very small audience, we can be menopausal for around a third (up to a half) of our lifetime as women, so not that narrow an audience when you look at how many more mature women are interested in skincare. Best wishes.
Hello, I am the target audience and believe me, when you wake up one morning and all of a sudden look like you've been partying non-stop and haven't had a drop of water for the past 20 years... you'll understand why your estrogen depleted skin needs this product along with some others, STAT. Once I completed menopause it was like I aged overnight and that very next morning I jumped on the internet looking for products to help with my newly estrogen depleted skin and found the Phytoestrogen Elasticity Renewal Body Treatment and ordered a bottle. I haven't even finished my first bottle and I can already see a difference especially when I combine it with the Paula's Choice Skin Smoothing Retinol body treatment and The Inkey List Polyglutamic acid. I have always looked about 20 years younger than I actually am and I'm not going to let menopause mess that up.
So happy to hear about Ike's final surgery! 💜💜💜
I would like to see more research on products like this.
We are so lucky for Ike to get a second chance 😇 definitely will do more videos on good topic, I think it's going to become a hot product type in the future.
I am the target audience for this product and use it once or twice a day, depending on my day. So far I am beginning to see results after a few weeks, mostly on my neck and the crepey area near my eyes. For the prices, I like PC products and use a routine that includes retinol, vitamin c, BHA, fairly heavy moisturizers, and of course sunscreen. Wish I would have used sunscreen for the first 4 decades but better late than never. Thank you for the review!
Hi Sarah. Today I’m a bit annoyed with Peach Slices. I bought the snail cleanser because the ingredients say rosemary oil at the end but on the back of the package I received it says snail and tea tree and it does have a pretty strong tea tree smell not Rosemary so I don’t know what’s going on but this isn’t Okay.. I was really looking forward to the invigorating Rosemary scent ☹. It just feels deceitful because tea tree isn’t mentioned in the inci at all
YES, Definitely DO NOT use it if you've had hormone receptor positive breast cancer, such as I have!
My breast specialist would disagree. Because it's small amount & applied topically she told me not to worry.
My sister has the same hormonal driven breast cancer. She too has been directed to stay away from products like this. Listen to your doctor. Magees womens hospital is wonderful!
You are such an amazing survivor! Having thicker skin isn't worth the risk for that, in my opinion. There are other good ways to achieve (vitamin c, aha's, retinoids) that without putting yourself in harms way.
If you study this type of product with phytoestrogens, you will see that it does not affect estrogen driven cancers. Phytoestrogens can be found in fruits, vegetable and legumes. It actually decreases your chance for cancer.
Studies shown small amount are good The study created in 1992 by the woman’s health Was not accurate menopausal skin is terrible. You can age 10 years in a three-year period because your horror moans are so messed up not to mention your mood your body aches. I just thought menopause meant you might have the night sweats or hot flashes. It’s so much more than that.
Hey Sarah..I have a question..I've been using the Alpha B liquid gold..i use it once a week..last time i used it was over a week ago, i was gonna use it last night and i realized it was open...the dropper was in but not screwed on properly..you thinks its still good to use? Hope you see this and reply. Or someone can help. Thank you.
It wouldn't hurt, may have lost "some" effectiveness, but I think it'd be fine to use
@@Jess-ip8xv - ditto.
I agree with the others, most of the air way blocked from getting in even if it wasn't fully closed so it's still probably going to be pretty good to use and finish.
@@Jess-ip8xv Thank you for your reply =]
@@NOBSBeauty Thank you Serah =]
So glad to hear about Ike's good news 💕💕💕
Oh my!! That is truly fantastic news! YAY IKE🎉🥳🐾🐕💗💗💗
He's such a tough guy, although I think the codeine helped, too! 😃
Sarah you honestly do the best reviews! I love how much detail you give and always more sceptical than most😂💜x
Oh thank you so much! 😃😘
So happy for mr IKEY .. souch a lucky pup to have u as a mommy u would do anything for those babies and u catching it so early is lucky like I said ur an angel 😇 I am so so happy for Ike and u guys
Ike is such a lucky guy, really got a second chance at life. I cannot imagine how Lincoln would handle it if Ike weren't around.
Hard to know if effective for you as you don’t have crepey skin, loss of elasticity etc…related to loss of estrogen. Based on my research, HRT from a health care provider is far better to systemically treat low estrogen issues - sleep, energy, skin and more. Women are living longer, so doing something effective for post menopause life is definitely worth it. I’m not sure if this one is worth it.
So happy to hear the good news about Ike. I'm starting to lose some volume on the lower sides of my face. I was wondering if you could recommend some products that can help with firming and lifting besides prescription strength retin a.
Thank you
So happy to hear about the great surgery results for Ike!! That's the best news, is he going to be on a different soft diet for long? My girl is on a diet and is similarly displeased with her new treat selections 😂 anyways, today's video is a really interesting topic, I hope more research is done and maybe other more affordable brands come out with similar products. But I also know that brand has the large and well funded R&D department to do these kinds of things. New treatments will always be cost prohibitive for some people, and Paula's choice isn't too bad compared to some skincare treatment options.
Ike is soooo adorable! 😘💋❤
Youve gotta review the new urban skin rx cysteamine cream! I just got mine in the mail yesterday and tried it out. Such a BARGAIN compared to Cyspera! I got it for $42 they also have it on Amazon through their store. I just stopped a round of 8% Hudroquinone and while it did remove like 90% of my awful sun spots and slight melasma, I want to continue getting rid of it and I think Cyspera is pretty promising although it takes 3/4 months. Can’t wait to see if it really works. A lot of studies behind it so I’m pretty excited
I've been hearing a lot about the Cyspera Cream so I'll have to check this one out. I've had great luck with a lot of the products form Urban Skin Rx and this sounds like it could be a winner- going to go check it out right now!
I have estrogen dominance. Does that mean phytoestrogens are not for people like me? Do you have any more videos on skincare ingredients that can possibly be hormone disruptors?
You're only one that's mentioned melasma. Never had it. Till went back on pill in mid-thirties.
Me too. Then it never went away on me.
Melasma is so hard to treat, it really only seems to affect women, and I have to think the pill could be the cause of it for the majority of cases. With time and patience it does fade, but you really have to be vigilant and use the right products and never skimp on sunscreen everyday.

. . .not in 20's. Now I'm 59 (much lower hormones).
Great news about Ike 💙💙!!
We are so lucky, all the prayers and the great veterinarians he saw made such a huge difference! 🙏😇
This is 4 Sure Gonna b so Good Sarah🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Saturday😀…..
Happy Saturday! ❤️😘
Glad Ike is doing well. 🐶
Interesting … thanks Sarah ❤
You are so welcome!
As the target audience, I am enjoying this product, enough to order a second bottle. My only complaint is the price for the amount. I use it once a day. It plays well with other products I use. My skin seems to enjoy it enough that I will continue to use it. The improvements are subtle. I may be the only one who sees them, but time will tell. I actually really like it for my neck, seems to have slightly improved the turkey thing that comes with age. No miracles but I think there is something to giving my skin a little estrogen it lacks.
It's so nice to hear from someone in the target range, it sounds like it worked well for you so that's a win! I'm going to have to finish using it on my neck (I can use all the help I can get in that area).
Ikey is cuter than Tom Cruise!
😃 And he knows it, doesn't he!!
Very glad Ike is doing well 💖💖🐾🐾
Phytoestrogens do not cause cancer. Please be selective if you “do your own research.” With that said, I’m sure you can find something cheaper with soy or resveratrol in it.
I disagree. I've see mostly Asian women ('80‐90's) die from *ovarian* CAncer. They all ate a lot of soy products, mostly tofu. Of course eating (internal) is different than topical. Also, my breast specialist is one who basically said topicals are fine.
@@noneofurbusiness5223 Has anyone confirmed that that is because of eating soy products? And not something completely different? Association is not causation and all that. So many nutrition studies are bullshit.
Definitely a very touchy topic, I think everyone can do their own reading (or even better, discuss this with their doctor or oncologist) up on it and come to the decision that works best for themselves. There are definitely tons of other ingredients that can help with aging related collagen loss (vitamin c, glycolic acid, retinoids, microneedling).
I hate how a bunch of people have co-opted that do your own research phrase to be anti science and it's so prevalent today, especially after 2020. I have heard about soy related products being related to higher cancer rates, I heard about it when my mother went through a double mastectomy for stage 3 breast cancer in my 2010, the info was just something I picked up with all the research my mother was doing at the time. Honestly I think everything causes cancer, that's just kind of how it is unfortunately, if you live long enough it happens eventually. Obviously we should still be diligent about making smart choices but info is constantly changing.
@@NOBSBeauty I think you'd want to see an Endocrinologist or Gynaecologist with regard to oestrogen. As for skin, Dermatologist. It is said that oestrogen (the real thing or synthetic) can help the skin not age as quickly, particularly for menopausal women but I've yet to see results from HRT on that one....
Topical phytoestrogens don't go into your body. Who are you? Do you have any education in this?
🎉 happy for Ike
We are so lucky, and he even seems like he knows how lucky he is!
@@NOBSBeauty 😊
I was so interested in the review of this don't think I'm old enough for it but definitely interested in how it works how u like it what it's doing and if a younger person not in menapause could use it not saying I'm young but not old like middle ground ..lol
Did u ever say how old u were I thought u may have I didn't think u were old enough for anything like that either but hey if it can help or prevent anything even using it earlier then the age group then hey anything we can do .
I have heard of alot of people using this Eppipel brand I think it's something like this but they have serums creams and stuff. Have u heard of revevserum I heard they had amazing stuff alittle pricy not as much as the TNS brand though.
Girl Mt whole history is cancer it seems my mom and dad got it in the same year foreal like 2 years ago it was bad stressful but amazing now both beat it but of course always side affects dad has headaches gets dizzy alot and mom her memory isn't the same now I noticed the cemio and radiation I think effected her in it of ways in the long run.
Ooh yes, the reviv serums are a pretty good alternative to the Skinmedica tns serum. I've tried a few samples from them and loved it, definitely will pick up the full size after I finish the one I'm working on. I think I'm going to do an age guessing contest with prizes. Maybe I'll have to do it during the awards show this year!
@@NOBSBeauty omg you have to review the Reviv product! I’ve heard great things from Penn Smith and always wondered if it’s something I could use at that 99$ price seems very good compared to skin medica
Enjoyed your review. Thank you
You are so welcome!
These menopausal skincare lines are so irritating to me. This was MAN made for sure as "Paula" is owned by Unilever. Need I say more. Oh, how bout, go away Paula (Paul). 😀
I have a feeling there will be more and more products like this coming in the near future. Seems like it is on the verge of becoming a trend. I guess we'll see but so many brands tend to copy one another with by accident or on purpose.
Yay, Ike!!❤❤❤❤
Ikey we praying for yah 🙏 ❤️ 🙌
I think so the prayers (along with an amazing veterinarian) made the difference! Thank you for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers 🙏🙏😇
@@NOBSBeauty I will always keep your fur babies in my prayers. So glad he is on the mend.
OMG it's crepy not creepy.
Also Blessings 4 Ike💜🙏….
Thanks, Sarah.
Thank you
I’m so confused on this whole concept of a product/ingredient. But then again, I’m a gay guy. Would this even be okay for use? Keep up the videos! ❤
I think this product has a very, very small target audience and if you're not in it then it's probably a waste to purchase it.
Have you gone through menopause and depleted all of your estrogen?
This just looks like a product specifically to trigger people who worry about "estrogenic" ingredients in sunscreens lmao
