- I have made a motorcycle trip with my Harley-Davidson Sportster to Lofoten,Norway in the middle of the cold arctic winter in the north.
A trip that I have longed to do since I started to ride Harley-Davidson at wintertime.
This was my plan when I bought my Harley-Davidson sportster in fall 2019.
I wanted to ride to Lofoten in wintertime. Because it is so goddamn crowded in summertime.
Just when I was done with my build, corona came and the borders closed..
But this year I could finally do it!
Follow a solo woman and her Harley in the middle of winter, watching the wonders of nature as they ride on Norway's desolate roads.

Helt fantastiskt. Jag har aldrig sett norrsken, det måste jag försöka göra någon gång. Jag har i och för sig inte varit till Lofoten eller kört hoj på vintern. Det finns så mycket kvar på to do listan. Jag lägger till flera saker hela tiden. Min räddning är att jag har så dåligt minne att jag glömmer ungefär i samma takt som jag lägger till nya saker på listan. I somras lyckades jag iallafall pricka av hela tre saker som jag hade på listan.
1. Campa en natt på Sanden camping i Seljord.
2. Köra till Lysebotn.
Ha du får plussa på din lista, norrsken är himla fint att beskåda.
Haha ja ibland kan det vara skönt att glömma lite grejjer så man inte blir så stressad av allt man vill göra men inte hinner.
Det var ju bra att du hann pricka av något. Lysbotn vill jag också se, var på väg dit i somras när jag va i Norge men det var så hårt väder och jag hade tidspress så det får bli en annan gång.
Such a lovely journey :) I have a few questions:
1- What camera do you use? 16:9 format would be better.
2- What resolution do you record? If it is 1080p, I suggest you encode it in 2k and upload like that. YT compresses 1080p video like crazy.
3- It would be good to have vlog style conversations or better audio from bike. Maybe you can use audio recorder or something?
4- Where did you stay in Lofoten?

I use a gopro when I ride and my iPhone, I have not filmed in the right format from the beginning so it could have been so much better if I had done that, I know😅
Yes it is 1080 just because I edit everything on my phone and I can’t download 2K videos in my phone. I saw it looked like vad quality when i loaded it up…maybe have to check out some computer editing…I suck at computers🤣
I don’t have any microfone and I guess I have a lot of space for improvements..

What kind of tires did you choose? Are those snow specific?
Thanks! I have studs in them so they are kind of snow specific…can’t ride with them in summertime..
