Let’s Ride! with Bikerida
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 29 ธ.ค. 2019
I have an addiction....for motorcycles!
Harleys and Choppers lays closest to my heart🤩
If i'm not out riding i will probably be in the garage trying to learn something new.
I live in the northenmost part of Sweden where the winters are longer than the summers but that does not stop me from riding all year around.
I ride a lot and often alone. I am quite spontanious, so if i decide to go to...for example Germany i might aswell end up in Macedonia.
It’s all about two wheels!

A Solo Motorcycle Winter Trip To North Cape
Perfect timing to give you a cool breeze in the summer heat😉
I went for a solo motorcycle trip on my Harley-Davidson to Nordkapp in february. The northernmost part of Europe. There was not so much traffic on these desolate roads, one of the good things with winter riding😉
It was really cold some days and I was happy I choose to try out some heated clothes this winter. I had an electric heating vest that felt like a lifesaver in the coldest moments.
It was a really stunning trip with a magical winter landscape , sometimes cold, sometimes sunny, sometimes snowy and I got isolated in Honningsvåg a few days because of bad weather. All roads were closed.
Episode 1:
I started in Kiruna Sweden and went via Karesuando to Kautokeino, I passed 2 borders..Finland and Norway. Crashed 2 times and rode in 25-26 degrees below zero.

An epic ride with my Harley-Davidson to Lofoten, Norway
มุมมอง 2.3Kปีที่แล้ว
I have made a motorcycle trip with my Harley-Davidson Sportster to Lofoten,Norway in the middle of the cold arctic winter in the north. A trip that I have longed to do since I started to ride Harley-Davidson at wintertime. This was my plan when I bought my Harley-Davidson sportster in fall 2019. I wanted to ride to Lofoten in wintertime. Because it is so goddamn crowded in summertime. Just when...

Just plain stupid putting others a risk , it should be against the law to ride two wheels in the snow.
OMG...I've never ever seen anything like this on a harley. What a courageous person and not for the fair weather rider. I'm actually stunned to see riding like that.
schitterend!
Amazing to make a journey riding a motorcycle in those extreme temperatures you must have courage by the bucket load definitely not for the faint hearted.
Damn, I just saw a quick Facebook reel of your ride. Unreal. Best of luck from Minnesota!!
Your a sweetheart
Sweet
Thanks for sharing hun
Hello from America. I have ridin all over the United States. You ma'am i ridin in weather that would keep my kickstand down. Stay safe!
Must of studed the tires
Hat's off to you❤
Very impressive! Have to try that lol Good job
Congrats on your ride. I’d like to know about the clothing you use. Having ridden in - 19c for a short ride fogging the helmet was my biggest challenge ✌️
Wow, riding in wintertime. Love to learn all the skill requires.
2:26 that sound is ASMR material
Cool video - but - U r crazy!!! Be safe !!!
Hello mark which song is the one playing in 3.00 minutes of the video? @bikerida_
I have never ridden in snow (Malaysia is hot and wet throughout the year) but I can imagine it's more demanding than riding in heavy rain.
- temps are not too common in UK. My limit is +7 so a lot of respect to you. Enjoyed the video.
I would like to try to ride from Finland to Sweden too...
had to subscribe . you re a legend . wish you had more videos.
Where can i find a video where you talk about your bike? I woulf like to learn as much as possible since i want to ride my bike all year round as well But what type of tyres do you use?
Looks awesome Ida 😊how does it feel riding the bike with studded tyres on ?
Awesome. Much respect! I ride through winter but only when the road is spanky clean and dry, and no snow. 🙂
Det var modigt det. Bra jobbat.
Ok so I feel a real need to comment on this video firstly you have my admiration in the video where you show the border of Finland and Sweden ; I’ve been there before and it’s stunningly beautiful you have more skill to ride this weather than anyone I know my respect to you !!! Now I’m off to subscribe and like this video then watch part two !!! Ps I’m from England and most people here stop riding in the winter lol not me but most do
Well done. My compliments to the required skill & attire.
I have been to the North Cape on a motorbike a long time ago, but it was in summer, I don't think I will be able to do it in winter, great performance, I am admiring and thank you for sharing
What a great sunset in A
Do they salt the roads in Nordic?
Epic!
Wow, crazy, but I take my hat off to you for making such a journey.
Fell off my chair when you said its minus 16 and a bit warmer. I live in Toronto- so cold temperatures aren't alien to me, but riding a motorcycle in these crazy temperatures and factoring in the windchill- you're an absolute Viking on a motorcycle. So glad to have stumbled upon your channel. Will binge watch all your videos soon. Please take care and ride safe.
How do you not crash with snow?
Many thanks for sharing such an inspiring video....all the best whishes happy new year 😊😊😊
Respect xxx
Very brave lady 👌
👍😉❤️🇫🇴🦋👻👻Brave womman 😉❤️🌻🌻🌻
Fränt😅 Du är en hårding!
Shalom! Hello - what happened? Where ya riding now....what´s up? Blessing: =)
I just finished watching Runa's latest episode from Sweden and somehow came upon your video. Wow! You are another amazing female adventure rider on my list of riders to watch. I have liked and subscribed. I look forward to seeing what glacier you will ride on next. LOL. Hmm. Maybe I shouldn't laugh. I get the impression you likely would do that. Please give us some information re: your tires. Ride safe and stay upright.
I carry a 20 0z coffee mug with me.. I fill it 50% Coffee and 50% Hot Chocolate at Convivence store/ gas station .
You are totally nuts .. Total respect !!
-26C while on a bike going 60km/h the Windchill Index is -45C. Here in Canada, we are encouraged to stay indoors at those temperatures as exposed skin can freeze in 5 to 10 minutes. Well done for making it there safe.
Yeah I'm a winter rider. *watches this video* No I'm not.
I was riding my Buell in the Middle of the Summer, I made a U-turn to go back and move a turtle off from the road. When I went to put my kickstand down it just fell off. I leaned my bike up against a road sign. I put my helmet on the ground so it would not fall off from the seat. A Truck Driver stopped and told some Adventure Bike Riders that I was in "Distress" I didn't even know it, but was told that putting your Helmet on the ground means you are in Distress. The Adventure bike riders came to check on me and I thanked them. I continued my Journey to Mt Bohemia a Ski resort and to Copper Harbor and the very Northern Upper Peninsula in MI . On my return Trip I stopped at a Hardware Store and got a 5/8" bolt some washers and a Nylock nut. The special Buell Bolt for the kick stand is nice but I made do with a common bolt. When I got home I drilled a Hole in the Nylon Lock nut because it was too close to the muffler which would melt the plastic and I put stainless steel safety wire through the nut and bolt. Also I put lots of grease on all the parts before assembly.
What kind of studs are you using? I just bought two studded tires for my 4 wheel drive pickup to pull my snowmobile trailer to Northen Michigan where snow does stay on the ground and they do allow hard packed snow to build up on the roads for snowmobiles. My sheet metal screws really bite on hard packed snows.. I can do wheelies with ease. The don't grip so good on cold hard ice. It more fun to ride on the Lake on an overcast day that is above 0 degrees C so the ice is softer and the screws will bite into the ice. If it's sunny and above freezing then the ice is too soft .
I used to cut up tin beer and pop cans and wire them around my air cooled Motorcycle engines to get them close to more proper operating temps. I studded my tires with extra sharp hardened sheet metal screws made for motorcycle ice racing . They would be destroyed in a few miles on pavement. I actually wired 6" nylon Tow straps around my tires for moving my bike in my shop and putting it in a trailer to take to the lake to ride on the ice.
My best Motorcycle Winter clothes are not very warm. I have heated grips and a heated Vest. My snowmobile suit is much warmer. Where I live in Southern Michigan USA the snow does not last long on the ground and if it does snow they spread salt and liquid chloride on the roads. This melts the snow and covers your bike in highly corrosive Minerals.
I hope you know you don't need to use Premium Gasoline in cold weather? My Buell has air scoops for the rear cylinder and an oil cooler with an air scoop. I taped the air Scoops shut and the cooling fan only turns on by a temp censor and the ECM. My Buell Bogs and Sputters at +2 Celsius. My Yamaha FZ-07 being liquid cooled runs great at -2C and just has a lot more power in cold dense air and it runs rich .. thanks to the stock fuel tables in the ECM.
Your a braver rider than me!
