I'd also like to add that, Aizen in TYBW or post fkkt arc is fused with his sword, and now as the sword and Aizen are essentially one and the same we don't know for sure if touching the “blade” can negate the effects of KS and there's a reason his ability is called ‘complete hypnosis’ it's impossible to evade it even when you know you're under an illusion not to mention he can switch places with others almost flawlessly and he can also manipulate the perception of time (he did it against Yhwach)

Fun Fact: In the most recent Klub Outside Q&A, Kubo was asked if KS can be exploited by taking a video or picture of a supposed illusion and will the victim see what's really happening, to which Kubo replied that they will still see an illusion even if they're looking at an image from a device. That is crazy if you think about it. Imagine how warped your perception of reality is that even if you were looking through an external source, you are still seeing what Aizen wants you to see.
If that's the case then it's impossible that it is just an illusion, if an inanimate object(not affected by KS) picks up such an altered scene then it's not illusions it's Reality alteration and manipulation not just illusions I mean it does make perfect sense because when the gotei 13 attacked Momo I refuse to believe that Ichigo(not under KS just like the video/picture camera but still affected by it indirectly just like kubos answer) just stood there, waited for all of them to attack then yelled at them after she almost died.... 9:34 so basically, all this confirms is that a normal Sharingan requires both the Sharingan user AND their opponent to look each other directly in the eyes, whereas with the Mangekyo as long as the Sharingan user can see his opponent's eyes (even if they are looking at the ground or in another direction), they can still inject chakra into them only that it would take more chakra to pull it off than usual. So why do people think that it functions any differently from the normal Sharingan genjutsu? He's saying that it does the same thing, but he has more range and area of effect since he doesn't need to be in a straight line with his opponent as long as their eyes are open, he can weave the chakra and bend it in different directions. That's it. Anyway, I don't know if you later mentioned this, but Kubo confirmed that Aizen's hypnosis works on even digital things like videos, images, information etc. So even if let's say Unohana had a surveillance camera on when she examined Aizen's fake dead body for 3 days, if someone else who hadn't physically seen Aizen's sword were to be shown the video, they too would fall into the hypnosis and believe that there's a corpse there. In a sense, Aizen's K.S works on technology. So that's another point that makes it better because Aizen vs let's say Ultron would be possible. But Itachi couldn't possibly catch Terminator in a genjutsu. Just a little info I thought was interesting to consider as well.

No time limit, no range limit, no limit on the amount of people. no immunity outside from literally being blind, or restrictions on what the victim can experience overwriting all senses including the metaphysical. Aizen had the entirety of Gotei 13 and more affected for over a century while also still being active across dimensions. It may not strictly be reality warping but to the victim it may as well be. This is because after fusing with the Hogyoku he also became one with his Zanpakuto when it disintigrated. He is now also his KS and doesn't need activation.
The most uninformed argument Naruto fans use to try and claim that Naruto characters can see through Kyokasuigetsu is : "in the Naruto verse, characters are used to fighting against opponents with illusion abilities, so they have countermeasures, while the bleachverse only has Aizen using Kyokasuigetsu so they aren't experiencied in dealing with illusion based abilities. However, that is completely wrong and a disingenuous, misinformed argument. Shinji also has illusion based abilities, some hollows have illusion abilities, Tosen's Bankai is in a similar tier and even Shunsui kyoraku has an illusion ability in Shikai. All of these have countermeasures and can be broken out of except Kyokasuigetsu. And Bleach characters have even better countermeasures against illusion based abilities than Naruto characters. Bleach characters have an extra sense which they use to fight; a spirit sense. Unless a Naruto character has an illusion ability that can trick the spirit sense like the one kyoraku used against Lille Barro, or Kyokasuigetsu, their genjutsu are pretty much useless. Kyoraku even states, "all who fight using spiritual pressure" do not solely rely on their external senses during battle. They use their Reikaku and sight. The stronger they are and the more concentrated they are on the battle, the less they use their sense and use their reikaku instead. Maybe the higher tier genjutsu might be able to work on them, but there's no evidence that they affect the soul. No spirit nor reanimated corpse could fall under the effects of the most powerful genjutsu in Naruto. Even within the Naruto verse, it's consistent that genjutsu is useless against a spirit. Even in the zanpakuto rebellion filler arc, Byakuya battles Kouga who can also use illusions. He's able to see through them because of his zanpakuto spirit.(i know it's a filler arc, but it still makes use of rules set in the canon universe). Bleach characters also have kido spells that dispel illusions and can even reveal things hidden in a separate dimension (the bakudo used by shinji to uncover Aizen hiding) I find it annoying that Naruto fans do not do proper research into bleach before making arguments. Then bleach fans do more research, present the evidence for the argument but Naruto fans just dismiss it lol.
Bro, the shinji's isn't illusion based. it's a technique that warps your perception. That's literally what Shinji does with his Shikai, and it's not just the visual perception that is changed for the target, but also it's perception of their own movement through space. The same goes for Shunsui's ability. No one is denying that his Shikai ability revolves around games but it doesn't contradict the fact that one of his games allows him to manipulate his opponents perception of reality by mimicking himself by the shadows. Tosen is also messing with your perception of reality, although he is not creating anything but he just shuts down all of your perceptions like sight, smell and hearing. Even though it's limited to just blocking those perceptions it is still manipulating them, which makes them - an illusionary type abilities. If they're not - then they must be outright a reality warping abilities which would make them even more broken. You may do your research on the topic but you, Naruto fans. would even try to deny the meaning of the words from your own language if it will prove your point or disprove the point of the opposing side. Also about the 6th sense in Naruto - it is almost non-existant. Without a dojutsu (Byakugan and Sharingan alike) people cannot even see chakra unless it somehow visualized. The people that have something close to 6th sense are masters of Senjutsu, who could feel the space around them as being part of themselves. It is not the 6th sense in a traditional way, just spreading their base 5 senses through the space around them. The other type of 6th sense is also not effective and exclusive only to Naruto who learned to feel the energy or the vibe of the people around him after he unlocked KCM1. He also could use this ability of his to sense the disturbance of said energy in far distances like when he felt that SOMETHING was going on but didn't knew what, he didn't realized that the war already started. The only instant of something being actually close to 6th sense is also exclusive to Naruto ability that he gained through obtaining Sage of Six Path chakra. It allowed him to sense Madaras Limbo that wasn't in this Dimension even though he couldn't see it, which could still possibly be just the upgraded version of Senjutsu space sensorics ability. And even if we could say that it actually is 6th sense - it is still limited to only Naruto (Sasuke also received Sages chakra but didn't get said sensory) and after he gained that ability he wasn't targeted by any genjutsus whatsoever so we couldn't know would the illusions work on that type of sensory or not. If you would try to bring up Karins or Inos sensory - their sensory barely could be named as a different perception type. They could feel *the chakra* while they couldn't see it or in any way get advantages while being under any genjutsu or hypnosis. As the author already said even though it might have helped them to understand that they are under hypnosis it might've helped them against the illusions from Naruto, but not against abilities from Bleach. @@Ab-stractsection4857 Few things that you said were wrong that im gonna point out 1 Karin sensed the chakra of ninja dogs that have been bred in a clan for generations so that's different from just a normal dog imo. 2 You used filler to show that hagoromo was taught senjutsu by the toads which was from non cannon episodes that never happened in the manga so that cant be used and that doesn't debunk hagoromo spreading chakra throughout the world. Now if you want to use boruto to say the earth had chakra the whole time that's fine but clearly the humans/animals did not have it since madara says that humans fought each other before chakra was given to them making them ninja. 3.For the shisui page you showed you said lack of reading comprehension was an issue but he legit said on that page that for the normal sharingan you need to lock eyes direct action and the flow of chakra. He then said his mangekyou allows him to sidestep all of that which would also include the flow of chakra. It's likely that mangekyou genjutsu injects chakra into the brain and just manipulates that chakra could be wrong. 4 Genjutsu has worked on tailed beasts who while made of chakra have no chakra network/flow to manipulate yet the mangekyo can put them under how do you explain that?
Even if bleach characters could be put under a genjutsu, I doubt it would be all that effective, seeing as how soul reapers have their zanpakuto spirits who can help them break out of it. I'm pretty sure this would even work with tsukuyomi considering the zanpakuto spirit would perceive time the same as their soul reaper would. Kyoka suigetsu is really just incredibly broken, it fooled a being with god like power who could see into infinite futures and manipulate reality. Really hoping we get to see Aizen's bankai in the anime so we can see just how powerful this ability is!
It won't work on Tsukuyomi. It's not a real time genjutsu a person can spend decades in Tsukuyomi in 1s and the damage they sustain in Tsukuyomi lingers after a person is released. Also Tsukuyomi also traps a tailed beast so the shinigami is also going under it.

Although one can speculate it can work on pure souls (I am stretching it here: In the movie Road to Ninja, Itachi told Obito there are other ways to deal with him inside the Limited Tsukuyomi in spirit form when physical attacks weren't going to effect him which I assume he was going to use Genjutsu).

Commenting as I’m starting the vid so idk if you address this point in the gif or not but….The thing people always fail to talk about with Genjutsu specifically compared to Bleach characters and the Bleach verse is that Genjutsu doesn’t work on Souls. Even the strongest Genjutsu in the series, the Infinite Tsukuyomi, didn’t work on Edo Tensei. Aside from the potency of hax like KS working on the Almighty which has layered power null even on abilities that activate before the Almighty was used and with the Almighty being a hax that works on infinite timelines which makes it and by extension KS a 4-D hax…. The KS works on souls. So it’s not just affecting your 5 senses, your ability to sense energy, and your sense of time, it also does all these things to your soul. Mind, body and soul Genjutsu only works on the mind and body but not the soul. Bleach characters besides the Fullbringers and the Quincy that are in their physical bodies wouldn’t get affected by any Genjutsu. Shinigami and Hollows in general and Quincy/Fullbringers in their Reishi/spirit bodies wouldn’t be affected because they’re souls
I tlk alot about your 1st point in my Barragan vs the Naruto Verse video. Its during the itachi vs Barragan Portion. You oretty much summed up everything i said You are also absolutely Right about KS. it being able to Affect someone that can view & change infinite Futures Makes it a 4-D hax. and as you said it does infact affect your soul and work on your spiritual 6 sense. No hate or anything, but I made a custom Dojutsu thats has an ability to cast an illusion nullifying barrier that will protect anyone inside it from any form of illusion. Would that be considered a way to negate the effects of Aizen's KS? (just curious)
Considering aizen ks worked on yhwach who can see infinite future and alter them, I doubt it. But even if there is such ability, what will u do once aizen breaks through or jist teleport inside the shield? KS is just one of many things u need to worry about

HOT TAKE: Kyoka Suigetsu should've been his bankai. Aizen was a bit overpowered and smart, making some of his mistakes look worse if you think about lol. That said, if I'm not mistaken... Azashiro Kenpachi dispelled KS with his Bankai which is fusion in SAFWY.

If you've been really paying attention to his character, you'd know he likes to gaslight, and this scene is one of those moments. And why was Yama able to tell it's Aizen? Also, Aizen's KS does have a similar effect to Izanagi, it's just that it is a passive that even he doesn't know what his opponent sees whenever it activates. In the TYBW arc, Yhwach who can pick and change any future he wants to couldn't kill Aizen in any future for good, as any changes he would make to the timelines would simply be warped around Aizen's survival, making it so that despite Aizen not being able to outright stop his death from happening in the future, Yhwach simply cannot kill him for good as he would only come to find that whatever he did to Aizen has been made to become a mere illusion in real-time. Basically, it has the same effect as Izanagi just not the same cause. Where Izanagi requires events to play out in real-time before activating, Kyoka Suigetsu: Kanzen Saimin reacts to whatever danger that may befall Aizen and changes that reality into an illusion without Aizen even knowing the details of what his opponent saw or did. Also, there is no time limit either or at least compared to the Infinite Tsukuyomi, it should have a longer time frame. Infinite Tsukuyomi warps the victim's _perception_ of time, so they can live their entire lifetimes (let's say 80 years) in minutes to hours, but the time frame itself is as I just said not very long, as at the end of the day, this illusion only lasts as long as it takes the 10 tails to drain the planet of all it's chakra. Aizen's effects on the other hand can last for 100 years(as shown with the Visored), it lasted for about 4 days with Yhwach, tens of years with Barragan (it's not clear when in the timeline he took over Hueco Mundo), as you said it worked on his fake corpse for 3 days and the effects remained on all the captains and other shinigami who saw his corpse for about 6 months (so up until the battle in Fake Karakura). So while he doesn't necessarily create unique illusions like a Mangekyo Sharingan would, he can replicate the effects of such illusions on a higher scale and potency.

it is my opinion that the only Genjutsu that is comparable to Kansen Saimin is left eye Kotoamatsukami. this is because it is unbreakable. Aizen's Kansen Saimin is unbreakable. even when he reveals to Unohana & Isane that they're under his influence, it is only when he releases them that they see that the fake corpse he was holding was never there. even Genjutsu that manipulate a persons chakra can easily be broken out of. another shinobi can simply tap you on the shoulder and pretty much instantly you break free. like you said, the only 2 that are outright superior are Mugen Tsukiyomi & Izanagi. but Izanagi & Izanami aren't actually superior. well, they're effect is superior, they literally manipulate reality. however, they cost you your vision. literally turning the user blind in the eye that cast the jutsu. that sacrifice is too great. also, Mugen Tsukiyomi is incredibly busted. not only is it planetary, you have to already be the Jinchuriki of the 10 tails to use it. meaning, you've already achieved Godhood by the time you cast it. and it's practically inescapable as well. and turns everyone into White Zetsu drones. it's quite possibly the most over powered and disturbing technique in all of Shonen. it's insane. of course it's stronger than KS. it's stronger than almost everything. overall, great video. you broke things down quite well, and explained the pros & cons of both sides fairly. so, i give you props for that

as an ability genjutsu would be more applicable and quicker to initiate in battle but aside from the highest tiers of genjutsu like infinite tsukuyomi and izanagi and for some reason obitos base one eyed genjutsu (idk why it was so strong) then KS is more powerful than most

Tayuya’s i think can last as long as you continue to hear her play, but that would be until she ran out of chakra. I love the statement that Izanagi is superior to Kyoka Suigetsu when Izanagi was defeated by a simple genjutsu. Imagine what Kyoka Suigetsu would do to a Izanagi user.
Mind you iam tlk about Objectively. Sasuke Outsmarted Danzo. if Danzo had used izanagi right befor his clash with sasuke he would’ve Been aware of the Genjutsu. To the same Degree Lets say Aizen uses KS on Danzo and he falls under complete hypnosis. If Danzo were to use izanagi it would completly Dispell all KS affects. Remember, you aren’t really aware that you are undee the effects of perfect hypnosis. Saying that an izanagi user would use one of their eyes immediately sounds unlikely. Also remember that usually an izanagi user only has 2 uses of it, it permanently blinds you. So if you use izanagi once to undo perfect hypnosis you lose half your power forever and all you need to do is look in aizens general direction to fall under the influence again. But then that is if izanagi is ever even used. Aizen can just cut you in half, and while you are bleeding out you think you are having breakfast with your mom while debating some guy on youtube

Good question, for starters i didn’t do a thorough enough Job of Actually breaking down KS. So although KS can quote un quote “make you see illusions” thats not its Primary Function. its Ability is Complete hypnosis. It allows Aizen to Hijack all of your sensory Faculties. any Phenomenon you experience with your 5 senses +extra sensory perception he controls. An illusion is simply Casting something into Reality that doesn’t Exist. with enough Time or experience you will be abel to tell it isn’t Real, KS doesn’t do this, while under complete hypnosis Whatever Aizen desires you to experience you will experience. and you will have been none the wiser. he controls your objective Reality. so to answer your question, It really depends on how this hyper awareness works. if it could evolve to the point it doesn’t need to rely on anything That gives you information such as your 5 senses i woukd say it could work. anything less is up for debate. and i say this because if your ability it to adapt to and become resilient to illusions, Then this wouldn’t fall under the full scope of KS. Aizens illusions have no time limit, unless he let's you out of it or you touch the blade you will be under them forever. All of the gotei 13 was for hundreds if not thousands of years and their potency didn't drop. I'd say the Infinite Tsukuyomi is the only one that can match but like you said. Chakra.
I’d say someone with Sage Mode or Naruto’s emotions sensing power could like see through Aizen’s power since he only controls the 5 senses while the abilities I mentioned grant a sixth sense that allows characters that can use it to sense the world around them

She performed a genjutsu that caused someone to hear, see, and feel roots binding them in place. KS has never just stopped someone like that.

It’s the steam ninja scrolls. It’s only like 1 or 2 volumes. She uses genjutsu to stop a thief early on and uses genjutsu in the final fight, so it shouldn’t be too hard to check.

Short answer Kotoamatuskame. You also forgot how Onito trapped a Mizukage in a genjutsu for over a decade. Also, ninja in Naruto are more resistant to mind tricks than shinigami. Aizen had a novelty ability, thats it. Whoever has a bit more experience with dealing with similar attacks could resist them, especially if they had the rinnegan.

@Ab-stractsection4857 Sharingan gives a ninja an extra sense of movement aizen cant possibly account for. Rinnegan would also deem most of aizens hypnotic abilities mute. You need to equalize sp and chskra. Otherwise, bleach wins against all verses due to spiritual pressure, which is silly. Aizen couldn't resist Shinjis shinkai. He has much less of a chance resisting a genjutsu. Mind ypu, Aizen didn't break out of that illusion he just figured out how to fight within its rules. Mist of Bleach characters have next to mo experience dealing with their senses betraying them. And he needs to activate his shinkai first.... Genjutsu works mich faster.

Unohana had doubts about the fake corpse... rinnegan would see through that. 3. You m8ght have a point there isShinj8s attack is interpreted as a chemical attack. 4. Aizen needs to activate his shinkai, and you need to hear the release in order for him to be able to dupe you (hypnosis to work). Meanwhile, one look into the eyes is all a sharingan needs (mind you, these characters move faster than light, Aizen, too).

And it's a lot closer than you might think. Because remember in the manga and the anime Itachi used tsukiyomi which completely warped kakashi's sense of feeling sight and understanding of time because the ninjutsu happened in an instant but for him it was ours of torture that he can feel and even if he knew he was in it or other people did they would not have enough time to get him out. And then in the light novels Itachi made his GF see the rest of their whole entire lives together before he killed her so a whole lifetime for her but in reality just a couple minutes.

I know the answer is obvious already, but I still feel you really underplayed the whole thing with Unohana doing the autopsy thing. Like. She straight up knew that something was wrong. The body was too perfect to be real, and yet, one of the strongest people in the series could do nothing about believing the body was real. It was only her massive amount of experience with bodies that she even got the hint that it wasn't real. And still, nothing. There is no breaking out of those illusions. They are permanent and they are inescapable. Even if you know, you'll just die more aware than most.

People really underestimate the nature of complete hypnosis. Genjustu fiddles around with charka but aizen's power seems to take direct control of your brain. here is another aspect of that power, some one asked the creator of bleach if someone is under the influance of kyoka suigetsu were to take a pic or a vid of some or something that is real and is being seen incoorectly due to aizen's power would they see the real thing and kubo stated no. even in a pic or vid you would STILL see what aizen wants you to see. IMO kyoka suigetsu is still greater than izanagi because izanagi comes at the cost of an eye and aizen could get the user to utterly waste their eyes or simply wound them and let them bleed out and die without them even realizing. Lets not also forget that aizen also tricked the almighty, granted it was most likely due to him messing with ywach before he got that power. here is something else to think about. This is speculation on my part but i think it holds water. Aizen played around with ywach's sense of time a little. That goes beyond the common five sense. If that's the case he may very well be able to control things like your sense of balances and spacal awareness. Two things absolutely vital to a fighter
Itachi could trap someone in a genjutsu that had them live the rest of their lives within a picosecond, but beyond that, Sasuke's genjutsu on Danzō was working in real-time to fool his perception of reality. From all he could perceive, he had another Sharingan open. He could look at it, sense the chakra in it, likely touch it, and so on, and he legitimately thought it was opened until he tried to cast Izanagi. Genjutsu can make real pain. Itachi controlled the entire reality within Tsukuyomi including mass and time, and it is likely real-time variants could do the same. It simply cannot make real damage except by excessive mental trauma. In the anime Itachi placed two of his AnBu under genjutsu that was under effect for multiple years until it needed to. The likes of Kotoamatsukami last indefinitely and can completely flip someone's personality, let alone their perception of reality. Genjutsu is spiritual, Yin Release. And many people can negate Yin Release by disrupting their chakra. The technique in Bleach also just fails against blind people, so it is very limited compared to genjutsu which can use any of the five senses as a medium, or even reality itself in the case of Izanami. Genjutsu more so manipulates chakra via the five senses, not the other way around. This suggests it might work on anyone who has five senses, even without chakra (just that they never need to explain it in that way, since literally everyone has chakra).
1) As far as Danzo i believe its a stretch to assume Every sensory faculty was being Affected. we have to remember he was in the heat of battle for his Life. its very easy to miss a genjutsu like that but it can be Debated. 2) Your Assessment about tsukuyomi is 💯 3) i highly doubt they were under genjutsu for years, its more likely he made thm Sleeper agents with a Trigger that activates the Genjutsu. Any damage sustained in the genjutsu translates to mental strain on that sense! . That's why tsukyomi damaged kakashi's brain and young Sasuke's brain but did next to nothing to adult Sasuke... .

When did Aizen manipulate a person's sense of time? Also, "needing chakra" seems like a bit of a moot point when every living thing, even plants and animals, are stated to have chakra, and chakra is partially made of spiritual energy to begin with. If you're comparing across series without equilibrating power systems, then literally everyone in Naruto is immune to Kokya Suigetsu, since nobody can even see Spirit Reapers and thus nobody can see his Shikai. Everyone, that is, except Itachi and other dojutsu users, who have proven the capability to see/interact with spiritual beings (Itachi somehow managed to kunai strike Nagato's Enma in the eyes, when normal people can't even see it unless targeted by it). That being said, pretty much every dojutsu offers the ability to see through illusions at base, and there's no reason to say that it wouldn't work on Aizen's Kokya Suigetsu. Moreover, Aizen's shikai feeds you wrong information, but it doesn't literally control your actions. Itachi, after trapping Kabuto in Izanami (another technique that you should have mentioned given how it seemingly also didn't require usual methods to cast it), was able to use Tsukyomi in order to control Kabuto's unconscious body. This control was so thorough, that Itachi forced Kabuto to undo a technique that only he knew how to do. He thought up the correct hand signs, preformed them, and provided the chakra for the technique, all while under Itachi's control. Also, Itachi was able to do something similar to Deidara, where he made Deidara accidentally wrap himself up in his own explosives - explosives that Deidara presumably controls mentally. And that was done entirely with 3 tommoe genjutsu, too. Granted, I'm pretty sure this application could probably be replicated with Kokya Suigetsu, but I think the example with Kabuto is a step above even that. Aizen tricks and fools you - he doesn't control your body or force you to use your techniques against your will. If he could, then he could have had Ywach Almighty himself out of existence or some shit.

I notice with the whole genjutsu vs ks, namely aizen vs itachi is the whole major component in chakra being spiritual energy and try to use that as a means to being effective on shinigami. @@Ab-stractsection4857 i think you should watch Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Its a great anime with main characters becoming a group of Mafia gangsters and 7 arcobaleno(rainbow). Those 7 were hitmans but were cursed and look like little kids but are too powerfull ans are mentors for new mafia families. And there is someone who gained knowledge of himself from the parallel universes and knew everything. One of the strongest villains. I love it. Im not sure about the illusions being planetary or as you said but as i said Rokudo Mukuro saved a girl from dying with his illusions and as long as he is alive the girl lives as well. This girl got the name Chrome Dokuro which is i think an anagram of Rokudo Mukuro. Also Mukuro got out of the most secure prison in that world and he could do that as many times as he wanted to. His illusions are said to be too realistic when he burned someone. Its been a while ive seen it so i dont remember everything that happened. But i really suggest it. For me it is one of the best anime out there

the easy way to explain how kyouka suigetsu is superior is that genjutsu doesnt work on jinchuriki like naruto and bee who are not fighting with their tailed beast because they can wake them up so basically any shinigami with a zanpakuto is immune to genjutsu since they can wake their user up. your forgeting izanami so izanagi and izanami are the ultimate jutsu that rivals kyoka suigetsu in effect, however kotoamatsukami objectively, inverse is a better abillity, kyoka suigetsu has one flaw: it does not mind control. koto makes you believe you are so sure you have your freedom you question you would still do the same thing you were manipulated to do even after you realize the genjutsu and have revived your freedom.although it requires chakara it is more impressive if chakara did not limit it. another thing you neglected to mention is kyoka suigetsu has a limit: azashiro saw through kyoka suigetsu by merging with matter and spirit matter and merge his senses with it, because of his expansive senses he could see through it, now here are some abilities that can counter kyoka; 1. kaguya can merge with nature, she did this in her fight against Naruto while she was in a different dimension. 2. Kabuto can use snakes to cover a wide area and feed him information as well as use inorganic animation which breathes sage energy into things with no life function, also he cant see and what you didn't point out is aizen only manipulates one sense as well and if you argue he controls all 5 well that is true but if you have no sight he cant control any. 3. using genjutsu on yourself to counter or rewrite said illusion to reverse to the others control. now kyoka might still work but its still a possibility that hasn't been ruled out. 4. izanami. izanami takes control of the 5 senses and records what you and the other are feeling like a snap shot, and then traps the users consciouness in a loop. now I don't know if eye contact or chakara is required but these are possible counters. also if shibai can use his abilities to be in different places at the same time, he might can bypass kyoka suigetsu through the same methods, given to us by azashiro. although its only been confirmed clairvoyance works by projecting the conscious into the past and seeing anywhere in the present, the exception being precog but we know this is only in eidas case and shibai doesn't even have senrigan, despite eidas abilities coming from him, indicating shibai might have a stronger application, simmilary to how izanami is a dojutsu born from creation of all things which isn't a dojutsu, so maybe shibai has the potential especially now that he is a spirit without a body, so his clairvoyance might be diffrent, but we will have to wait for now, untill more explanation is revealed on shibai. but yeah kyoka is broken but their are counter measures that can be placed, combat excluded.

to be honest l wont lie the reason kyoka suigetsu is broken is because bleach characters have very few ways of breaking through the illusion a problem kubo has of making his antagonists strong and not giving the rest of the cast sufficient ways of dealing with it. in Naruto every technique has a counter thats why you would say kyoka suigetsu is overpowered when in truth techniques in naruto have effective counters. when it comes to time obito with his basic genjustu managed to trap yagura a prefect jinchuriki for years without him ever realizing it so genjustu actually can manipulate others for long periods of time. secondly kyoka suigetsu allows one to manipulate the 5 senses a thing basic genjutsu does now the difference comes in how these two techniques are utilized in their worlds in bleach you basically cant tell the difference because its complete hypnosis however in naruto one has more than5 senses and can clear their bodies or brain of any foreign energy and since all techniques require either chakra or spiritual power to work it stands to reason that by removing whatever spiritual power his sword infested in you one can overcome the illusion. Naruto has genjustu that can toy with the opponents perception however because many characters are familiar with it they can break through hence kyoka suigetsu is seen as a devastating power in bleach but not naruto. For starters 1)You made a claim that genjutsu wouldn't work on Barragan because you said that he doesn't have any eyes or chakra. -The thing is would be that Jiraiya was only going of off basic genjutsu that he knew about since we have never seen him fight Itachi except for once when Itachi wanted to kidnap Naruto. But overall he was only talking about basic genjutsu. 2)You said that Itachi wouldn't be able to use Tsukuyomi on Barragan since he doesn't have eyes to see. Listen, you can't just say that "soul reapers don't have chakra, so they wouldn't be influenced by genjutsu." If you want to play that game, you can say that soul reapers can win since they would be invisible to the ninjas. Since they're ghosts. Plus I'm still wrapping my mind around Aizen's ability of hypnosis and its limitations. I know it can remain active for over 100 years and that they can appear as really convincing. But he only influences how objects appear when he does use it. He doesn't bring illusions in out of thin air like genjutsu. Plus, like you said, it doesn't influence a person's sense of time. @@Seneric All Captains are required to have Bankai with exception to the archaic way of succession through killing the previous captain (Kenpachi). Just because it wasn't revealed doesn't mean they never had it. There's plenty of reasons as to why he didn't use Bankai, Bankai is the Final Release and true reflection of their soul and doesn't always mean it's an upgrade/augmented version of their Shikai. Look at Soi Fon, hers goes from being the ultimate stealth assassination weapon to becoming tactical nuke. Most Captains haven't shown their Bankai until TYBW+ either because they never needed it, it's a trump card they would lose, it's so destructive that it could harm reality itself, or most likely for Aizen's case his hubris thought everyone was unworthy from going full power or that his Bankai didn't have the same utility as his Shikai. I think it's silly to think one of the smartest guys who fooled the entirety of SS for over a century then completely bodied almost all the Gotei 13 at the same time and the forced HM into submission (without the use of Bankai) doesn't have access to Bankai.

Tsukuyomi has been used to make someone live out their entire life in about a nanosecond and torture Kakashi for 72 hours in a second putting him in a coma. Tsukuyomi is more about damage and getting information so it taking a long time would be a detriment. Obito keeps Yagura under an unnamed genjutsu for 10 years to control the mist village. It’s different objectives. For length to have more consideration if it was Obito’s genjutsu vs KS I would take the targets life span into account because no genjutsu in Naruto has to last more than that in an active war zone and if KS was shorter there would probably be issues with the plot altogether. If you can use Tsukuyomi as many times as you want. Either be willing to go blind or have EMS.

Your wrong can naruto characters free themselves. Of course they can. Aizen blade controls all the five senses. It doesnt do anything to the sixth sense. The sixth sense is sensing blood lust using chakra or raising ones power or decreasing it. In the story aizen could not make you weaker then you were. Infact a hole in the story all you needed was unohana to fight him alone and the story would be over. Seeing as all you would have needed was to summon the reiroku ribbons. If you kept them invisble you would never lose track of aizen. Anyway The people of naruto can literally end illusions on themselves by taking control of their chakra and siezing it. Stopping the spiritual energy that aizen must use to exert control. The reason being that chakra is strongly tied to organs but are separate helps. (The chakra system is a seperate subject then the flesh of a person) The sharingan and byukagan can literally pierce the viel of the illusion.

9:34 so basically, all this confirms is that a normal Sharingan requires both the Sharingan user AND their opponent to look each other directly in the eyes, whereas with the Mangekyo as long as the Sharingan user can see his opponent's eyes (even if they are looking at the ground or in another direction), they can still inject chakra into them only that it would take more chakra to pull it off than usual.
So why do people think that it functions any differently from the normal Sharingan genjutsu?
He's saying that it does the same thing, but he has more range and area of effect since he doesn't need to be in a straight line with his opponent as long as their eyes are open, he can weave the chakra and bend it in different directions. That's it.
Anyway, I don't know if you later mentioned this, but Kubo confirmed that Aizen's hypnosis works on even digital things like videos, images, information etc.
So even if let's say Unohana had a surveillance camera on when she examined Aizen's fake dead body for 3 days, if someone else who hadn't physically seen Aizen's sword were to be shown the video, they too would fall into the hypnosis and believe that there's a corpse there.
In a sense, Aizen's K.S works on technology.

It was already confirmed over 7 years ago in manga that Yhwach was under KS through that interaction. This is because after fusing with the Hogyoku he also became one with his Zanpakuto when it disintigrated. He is now also his KS and doesn't need activation.

The most uninformed argument Naruto fans use to try and claim that Naruto characters can see through Kyokasuigetsu is : "in the Naruto verse, characters are used to fighting against opponents with illusion abilities, so they have countermeasures, while the bleachverse only has Aizen using Kyokasuigetsu so they aren't experiencied in dealing with illusion based abilities.
However, that is completely wrong and a disingenuous, misinformed argument. Shinji also has illusion based abilities, some hollows have illusion abilities, Tosen's Bankai is in a similar tier and even Shunsui kyoraku has an illusion ability in Shikai. All of these have countermeasures and can be broken out of except Kyokasuigetsu. And Bleach characters have even better countermeasures against illusion based abilities than Naruto characters.
Bleach characters have an extra sense which they use to fight; a spirit sense. Unless a Naruto character has an illusion ability that can trick the spirit sense like the one kyoraku used against Lille Barro, or Kyokasuigetsu, their genjutsu are pretty much useless.
Kyoraku even states, "all who fight using spiritual pressure" do not solely rely on their external senses during battle. They use their Reikaku and sight. The stronger they are and the more concentrated they are on the battle, the less they use their sense and use their reikaku instead. Maybe the higher tier genjutsu might be able to work on them, but there's no evidence that they affect the soul.
No spirit nor reanimated corpse could fall under the effects of the most powerful genjutsu in Naruto. Even within the Naruto verse, it's consistent that genjutsu is useless against a spirit.
Even in the zanpakuto rebellion filler arc, Byakuya battles Kouga who can also use illusions. He's able to see through them because of his zanpakuto spirit.(i know it's a filler arc, but it still makes use of rules set in the canon universe). Bleach characters also have kido spells that dispel illusions and can even reveal things hidden in a separate dimension (the bakudo used by shinji to uncover Aizen hiding)
I find it annoying that Naruto fans do not do proper research into bleach before making arguments. Then bleach fans do more research, present the evidence for the argument but Naruto fans just dismiss it lol.

That's literally what Shinji does with his Shikai, and it's not just the visual perception that is changed for the target, but also it's perception of their own movement through space. The same goes for Shunsui's ability. No one is denying that his Shikai ability revolves around games but it doesn't contradict the fact that one of his games allows him to manipulate his opponents perception of reality by mimicking himself by the shadows. Tosen is also messing with your perception of reality, although he is not creating anything but he just shuts down all of your perceptions like sight, smell and hearing. Even though it's limited to just blocking those perceptions it is still manipulating them, which makes them - an illusionary type abilities. If they're not - then they must be outright a reality warping abilities which would make them even more broken.

Also about the 6th sense in Naruto - it is almost non-existant. Without a dojutsu (Byakugan and Sharingan alike) people cannot even see chakra unless it somehow visualized. The people that have something close to 6th sense are masters of Senjutsu, who could feel the space around them as being part of themselves. It is not the 6th sense in a traditional way, just spreading their base 5 senses through the space around them. The other type of 6th sense is also not effective and exclusive only to Naruto who learned to feel the energy or the vibe of the people around him after he unlocked KCM1. He also could use this ability of his to sense the disturbance of said energy in far distances like when he felt that SOMETHING was going on but didn't knew what, he didn't realized that the war already started. The only instant of something being actually close to 6th sense is also exclusive to Naruto ability that he gained through obtaining Sage of Six Path chakra. It allowed him to sense Madaras Limbo that wasn't in this Dimension even though he couldn't see it, which could still possibly be just the upgraded version of Senjutsu space sensorics ability. And even if we could say that it actually is 6th sense - it is still limited to only Naruto (Sasuke also received Sages chakra but didn't get said sensory) and after he gained that ability he wasn't targeted by any genjutsus whatsoever so we couldn't know would the illusions work on that type of sensory or not. If you would try to bring up Karins or Inos sensory - their sensory barely could be named as a different perception type. They could feel *the chakra* while they couldn't see it or in any way get advantages while being under any genjutsu or hypnosis. As the author already said even though it might have helped them to understand that they are under hypnosis it might've helped them against the illusions from Naruto, but not against abilities from Bleach. You might know that what you see isn't real you might even expect it to not be real but it wouldn't help you to get out of it.

Even if bleach characters could be put under a genjutsu, I doubt it would be all that effective, seeing as how soul reapers have their zanpakuto spirits who can help them break out of it. I'm pretty sure this would even work with tsukuyomi considering the zanpakuto spirit would perceive time the same as their soul reaper would. Kyoka suigetsu is really just incredibly broken, it fooled a being with god like power who could see into infinite futures and manipulate reality. Really hoping we get to see Aizen's bankai in the anime so we can see just how powerful this ability is!

It won't work on Tsukuyomi. It's not a real time genjutsu a person can spend decades in Tsukuyomi in 1s and the damage they sustain in Tsukuyomi lingers after a person is released. Also Tsukuyomi also traps a tailed beast so the shinigami is also going under it.

Although one can speculate it can work on pure souls (I am stretching it here: In the movie Road to Ninja, Itachi told Obito there are other ways to deal with him inside the Limited Tsukuyomi in spirit form when physical attacks weren't going to effect him which I assume he was going to use Genjutsu).

Commenting as I’m starting the vid so idk if you address this point in the gif or not but….The thing people always fail to talk about with Genjutsu specifically compared to Bleach characters and the Bleach verse is that Genjutsu doesn’t work on Souls. Even the strongest Genjutsu in the series, the Infinite Tsukuyomi, didn’t work on Edo Tensei. Aside from the potency of hax like KS working on the Almighty which has layered power null even on abilities that activate before the Almighty was used and with the Almighty being a hax that works on infinite timelines which makes it and by extension KS a 4-D hax….
The KS works on souls. So it’s not just affecting your 5 senses, your ability to sense energy, and your sense of time, it also does all these things to your soul. Mind, body and soul
Genjutsu only works on the mind and body but not the soul. Bleach characters besides the Fullbringers and the Quincy that are in their physical bodies wouldn’t get affected by any Genjutsu. Shinigami and Hollows in general and Quincy/Fullbringers in their Reishi/spirit bodies wouldn’t be affected because they’re souls

HOT TAKE: Kyoka Suigetsu should've been his bankai. Aizen was a bit overpowered and smart, making some of his mistakes look worse if you think about lol. That said, if I'm not mistaken... Azashiro Kenpachi dispelled KS with his Bankai which is fusion in SAFWY.
Tbf it took a while before Azashiro got used to the hypnosis.

Don't take every word Aizen says at face value, just because he said this or that doesn't mean that's what it actually means. If you've been really paying attention to his character, you'd know he likes to gaslight, and this scene is one of those moments. And why was Yama able to tell it's Aizen? Simple, he was in contact with the blade when Aizen pierced him. Or did you forget that the way to escape KS is to touch the sword?
Also, Aizen's KS does have a similar effect to Izanagi, it's just that it is a passive that even he doesn't know what his opponent sees whenever it activates.
In the TYBW arc, Yhwach who can pick and change any future he wants to couldn't kill Aizen in any future for good, as any changes he would make to the timelines would simply be warped around Aizen's survival, making it so that despite Aizen not being able to outright stop his death from happening in the future, Yhwach simply cannot kill him for good as he would only come to find that whatever he did to Aizen has been made to become a mere illusion in real-time.
Basically, it has the same effect as Izanagi just not the same cause.
Where Izanagi requires events to play out in real-time before activating, Kyoka Suigetsu: Kanzen Saimin reacts to whatever danger that may befall Aizen and changes that reality into an illusion without Aizen even knowing the details of what his opponent saw or did.
Also, there is no time limit either or at least compared to the Infinite Tsukuyomi, it should have a longer time frame.
Infinite Tsukuyomi warps the victim's _perception_ of time, so they can live their entire lifetimes (let's say 80 years) in minutes to hours, but the time frame itself is as I just said not very long, as at the end of the day, this illusion only lasts as long as it takes the 10 tails to drain the planet of all it's chakra.
Aizen's effects on the other hand can last for 100 years(as shown with the Visored), it lasted for about 4 days with Yhwach, tens of years with Barragan (it's not clear when in the timeline he took over Hueco Mundo), as you said it worked on his fake corpse for 3 days and the effects remained on all the captains and other shinigami who saw his corpse for about 6 months (so up until the battle in Fake Karakura).
So while he doesn't necessarily create unique illusions like a Mangekyo Sharingan would, he can replicate the effects of such illusions on a higher scale and potency.

i pretty much agree with everything you said. The Time limit thing for KS, i was mainly Talking about How long he’s kept it active for an extended period of time. The Spell of Kanzen saimen last indefinitely to my understanding, but i was talking about the Active use of his Shikai’s Ability. I think the longest that was used was anywhere from 3-5 days
it is my opinion that the only Genjutsu that is comparable to Kansen Saimin is left eye Kotoamatsukami. this is because it is unbreakable. Aizen's Kansen Saimin is unbreakable. even when he reveals to Unohana & Isane that they're under his influence, it is only when he releases them that they see that the fake corpse he was holding was never there. even Genjutsu that manipulate a persons chakra can easily be broken out of. another shinobi can simply tap you on the shoulder and pretty much instantly you break free.
like you said, the only 2 that are outright superior are Mugen Tsukiyomi & Izanagi. but Izanagi & Izanami aren't actually superior. well, they're effect is superior, they literally manipulate reality. however, they cost you your vision. literally turning the user blind in the eye that cast the jutsu. that sacrifice is too great.
also, Mugen Tsukiyomi is incredibly busted. not only is it planetary, you have to already be the Jinchuriki of the 10 tails to use it. meaning, you've already achieved Godhood by the time you cast it. and it's practically inescapable as well. and turns everyone into White Zetsu drones. it's quite possibly the most over powered and disturbing technique in all of Shonen. it's insane. of course it's stronger than KS. it's stronger than almost everything.

Good question, for starters i didn’t do a thorough enough Job of Actually breaking down KS.
So although KS can quote un quote “make you see illusions” thats not its Primary Function. its Ability is Complete hypnosis. It allows Aizen to Hijack all of your sensory Faculties. any Phenomenon you experience with your 5 senses +extra sensory perception he controls.
An illusion is simply Casting something into Reality that doesn’t Exist. with enough Time or experience you will be abel to tell it isn’t Real,
KS doesn’t do this, while under complete hypnosis Whatever Aizen desires you to experience you will experience. and you will have been none the wiser. he controls your objective Reality.

1. Sharingan senses movement in particular. If Aizen moves outside of hypnosis, a sharingan user will sense it.
2. Rinnegan can even sense things from another fimension. Unohana had doubts about the fake corpse... rinnegan would see through that.

Because remember in the manga and the anime Itachi used tsukiyomi which completely warped kakashi's sense of feeling sight and understanding of time because the ninjutsu happened in an instant but for him it was ours of torture that he can feel and even if he knew he was in it or other people did they would not have enough time to get him out. And then in the light novels Itachi made his GF see the rest of their whole entire lives together before he killed her so a whole lifetime for her but in reality just a couple minutes.

I know the answer is obvious already, but I still feel you really underplayed the whole thing with Unohana doing the autopsy thing. Like. She straight up knew that something was wrong. The body was too perfect to be real, and yet, one of the strongest people in the series could do nothing about believing the body was real. It was only her massive amount of experience with bodies that she even got the hint that it wasn't real.
And still, nothing. There is no breaking out of those illusions. They are permanent and they are inescapable. Even if you know, you'll just die more aware than most.

People really underestimate the nature of complete hypnosis. Genjustu fiddles around with charka but aizen's power seems to take direct control of your brain. here is another aspect of that power, some one asked the creator of bleach if someone is under the influance of kyoka suigetsu were to take a pic or a vid of some or something that is real and is being seen incoorectly due to aizen's power would they see the real thing and kubo stated no. even in a pic or vid you would STILL see what aizen wants you to see.
IMO kyoka suigetsu is still greater than izanagi because izanagi comes at the cost of an eye and aizen could get the user to utterly waste their eyes or simply wound them and let them bleed out and die without them even realizing. Lets not also forget that aizen also tricked the almighty, granted it was most likely due to him messing with ywach before he got that power.
here is something else to think about. This is speculation on my part but i think it holds water. Aizen played around with ywach's sense of time a little. That goes beyond the common five sense. If that's the case he may very well be able to control things like your sense of balances and spacal awareness. Two things absolutely vital to a fighter
Itachi could trap someone in a genjutsu that had them live the rest of their lives within a picosecond, but beyond that, Sasuke's genjutsu on Danzō was working in real-time to fool his perception of reality. From all he could perceive, he had another Sharingan open. He could look at it, sense the chakra in it, likely touch it, and so on, and he legitimately thought it was opened until he tried to cast Izanagi.
Genjutsu can make real pain. Itachi controlled the entire reality within Tsukuyomi including mass and time, and it is likely real-time variants could do the same. It simply cannot make real damage except by excessive mental trauma.
In the anime Itachi placed two of his AnBu under genjutsu that was under effect for multiple years until it needed to. The likes of Kotoamatsukami last indefinitely and can completely flip someone's personality, let alone their perception of reality.
Genjutsu is spiritual, Yin Release. And many people can negate Yin Release by disrupting their chakra. The technique in Bleach also just fails against blind people, so it is very limited compared to genjutsu which can use any of the five senses as a medium, or even reality itself in the case of Izanami.
Genjutsu more so manipulates chakra via the five senses, not the other way around. This suggests it might work on anyone who has five senses, even without chakra (just that they never need to explain it in that way, since literally everyone has chakra).
1) As far as Danzo i believe its a stretch to assume Every sensory faculty was being Affected. we have to remember he was in the heat of battle for his Life. its very easy to miss a genjutsu like that but it can be Debated.

When did Aizen manipulate a person's sense of time? Also, "needing chakra" seems like a bit of a moot point when every living thing, even plants and animals, are stated to have chakra, and chakra is partially made of spiritual energy to begin with. If you're comparing across series without equilibrating power systems, then literally everyone in Naruto is immune to Kokya Suigetsu, since nobody can even see Spirit Reapers and thus nobody can see his Shikai.
Everyone, that is, except Itachi and other dojutsu users, who have proven the capability to see/interact with spiritual beings (Itachi somehow managed to kunai strike Nagato's Enma in the eyes, when normal people can't even see it unless targeted by it). That being said, pretty much every dojutsu offers the ability to see through illusions at base, and there's no reason to say that it wouldn't work on Aizen's Kokya Suigetsu.
Moreover, Aizen's shikai feeds you wrong information, but it doesn't literally control your actions. Itachi, after trapping Kabuto in Izanami (another technique that you should have mentioned given how it seemingly also didn't require usual methods to cast it), was able to use Tsukyomi in order to control Kabuto's unconscious body. This control was so thorough, that Itachi forced Kabuto to undo a technique that only he knew how to do. He thought up the correct hand signs, preformed them, and provided the chakra for the technique, all while under Itachi's control.
Also, Itachi was able to do something similar to Deidara, where he made Deidara accidentally wrap himself up in his own explosives - explosives that Deidara presumably controls mentally. And that was done entirely with 3 tommoe genjutsu, too. Granted, I'm pretty sure this application could probably be replicated with Kokya Suigetsu, but I think the example with Kabuto is a step above even that. Aizen tricks and fools you - he doesn't control your body or force you to use your techniques against your will. If he could, then he could have had Ywach Almighty himself out of existence or some shit.

I notice with the whole genjutsu vs ks, namely aizen vs itachi is the whole major component in chakra being spiritual energy and try to use that as a means to being effective on shinigami. For one is pretty stupid in general but even if you reach and equalize the power systems. It honestly leans more into Aizens favor cuz bigger reiatsu just negs the smaller one. And considering the crazy shit people like Yhwach or even Senjumaru pulled with the 3 realms and Aizen being comparable. I don't think much in Naruto really compares.

Those 7 were hitmans but were cursed and look like little kids but are too powerfull ans are mentors for new mafia families. And there is someone who gained knowledge of himself from the parallel universes and knew everything. One of the strongest villains. I love it.
Im not sure about the illusions being planetary or as you said but as i said Rokudo Mukuro saved a girl from dying with his illusions and as long as he is alive the girl lives as well. This girl got the name Chrome Dokuro which is i think an anagram of Rokudo Mukuro. Also Mukuro got out of the most secure prison in that world and he could do that as many times as he wanted to. His illusions are said to be too realistic when he burned someone. Its been a while ive seen it so i dont remember everything that happened. But i really suggest it. For me it is one of the best anime out there

Kabuto can use snakes to cover a wide area and feed him information as well as use inorganic animation which breathes sage energy into things with no life function, also he cant see and what you didn't point out is aizen only manipulates one sense as well and if you argue he controls all 5 well that is true but if you have no sight he cant control any. 3. using genjutsu on yourself to counter or rewrite said illusion to reverse to the others control. now kyoka might still work but its still a possibility that hasn't been ruled out. 4. izanami. izanami takes control of the 5 senses and records what you and the other are feeling like a snap shot, and then traps the users consciouness in a loop. now I don't know if eye contact or chakara is required but these are possible counters. also if shibai can use his abilities to be in different places at the same time, he might can bypass kyoka suigetsu through the same methods, given to us by azashiro. although its only been confirmed clairvoyance works by projecting the conscious into the past and seeing anywhere in the present, the exception being precog but we know this is only in eidas case and shibai doesn't even have senrigan, despite eidas abilities coming from him, indicating shibai might have a stronger application, simmilary to how izanami is a dojutsu born from creation of all things which isn't a dojutsu, so maybe shibai has the potential especially now that he is a spirit without a body, so his clairvoyance might be diffrent, but we will have to wait for now, untill more explanation is revealed on shibai. but yeah kyoka is broken but their are counter measures that can be placed, combat excluded.

2) Koto being better is purely subjective, Koto can only affect one person at a time and it can only be used once in battle. It also shares the same medium of Influence as KS which is a Visual one. And Aizens is better because the moment you lay your eyes on him your under his control.
3) As far as the limit that you mentioned There is no evidence kaguya can Merge with Anyworld outside of her own and KS would be affecting her senses on a Spiritual lvl. Also Kaguya got overwhelmed and pressured by Naruto sasuke and sakura. her awareness isn’t that crazy.

to be honest l wont lie the reason kyoka suigetsu is broken is because bleach characters have very few ways of breaking through the illusion a problem kubo has of making his antagonists strong and not giving the rest of the cast sufficient ways of dealing with it. in Naruto every technique has a counter thats why you would say kyoka suigetsu is overpowered when in truth techniques in naruto have effective counters. when it comes to time obito with his basic genjustu managed to trap yagura a prefect jinchuriki for years without him ever realizing it so genjustu actually can manipulate others for long periods of time. secondly kyoka suigetsu allows one to manipulate the 5 senses a thing basic genjutsu does now the difference comes in how these two techniques are utilized in their worlds in bleach you basically cant tell the difference because its complete hypnosis however in naruto one has more than5 senses and can clear their bodies or brain of any foreign energy and since all techniques require either chakra or spiritual power to work it stands to reason that by removing whatever spiritual power his sword infested in you one can overcome the illusion. Naruto has genjustu that can toy with the opponents perception however because many characters are familiar with it they can break through hence kyoka suigetsu is seen as a devastating power in bleach but not naruto. Again tailed beasts are physical entities of chakra not spiritual and so can break the illusion on their jinchuriki but even so obito managed to put yagura a perfect jinchuriki under illusion. Another thing is how itachi tsukiyomi real strength is not to mess with time but to Inflict mental torture on a victim worth days or months in mere moments thats what makes it more terrifying and this effectively kills the brain itself and like more stronger genjutsu it can incapacitate the victim rendering them incapable of movement or control their brain directly. Also kotoamatsukami is a genjustu that allows for absolute control of the victim and shisui was confident he could use it on the entire uchiha clan to subdue them all so its still works on large groups of people its so perfect that you believe you're doing this of your own will. Genjutsu can be cast upon oneself like the izanami that can be used to rewrite reality and break anything in reality that had happened which the caster wants to change including any techniques cast upon them even death. But to make things clear on what Jiraiya told Naruto about genjutsu in its chakra network.Jiraiya was only talkng about basic genjutsu that required the victim to break out of the illusion by disrupting their chakra flow because if that were the case and everyone had that skill to break out of illusions then why did Naruto struggle to break out of Itachis finger pointer illusion even though he disrupted his chakra flow.And I can tell you why its because Itachis genjutsu was way to powerful for Naruto to deal with own his own to a point that he needed Granny Chiyo and Sakura to break him out of it.
Anyways for my last point regarding genjutsu like Kotoamatsukami and Tsukuyomi he mentioned that Aizens illusions are superior to those two because it affects all five senses to perfection. Well the thing is Aizen needs to have his opponents see his blade inorder for the illusion to take effect and the thing is with naruto characters is that they themselves can rely on chakra/reitsu sensing inoder to tell were their opponent are so sight isn't even a factor if people like Snake form Kabuto was able to completely blind himself when he fought against Itachi and Sasuke.

For starters
1)You made a claim that genjutsu wouldn't work on Barragan because you said that he doesn't have any eyes or chakra.
-The thing is would be that Jiraiya was only going of off basic genjutsu that he knew about since we have never seen him fight Itachi except for once when Itachi wanted to kidnap Naruto.

The problem with that logic is that if that were true then how was Aizen able to put Barragan under KS illusions.Because if anything Aizen himself stated that a glance on his sword is all it takes to be under KS hypnosis.So that's false
But on the plus side in the LN it was confirmed by Shisui that his MS bypasses the chakra limitations of putting people under illusions.Which you kinda misinterpreted because he only meant that MS can allow the user to transfer the illusion to the victim whether the receiver of the illusion has chakra or not since it's directly affecting their mind.

If you want to play that game, you can say that soul reapers can win since they would be invisible to the ninjas. Since they're ghosts. Plus I'm still wrapping my mind around Aizen's ability of hypnosis and its limitations. I know it can remain active for over 100 years and that they can appear as really convincing. But he only influences how objects appear when he does use it. He doesn't bring illusions in out of thin air like genjutsu. Plus, like you said, it doesn't influence a person's sense of time. His bankai would very likely confirm if his shikai has these limitations.

Just because it wasn't revealed doesn't mean they never had it. There's plenty of reasons as to why he didn't use Bankai, Bankai is the Final Release and true reflection of their soul and doesn't always mean it's an upgrade/augmented version of their Shikai. Look at Soi Fon, hers goes from being the ultimate stealth assassination weapon to becoming tactical nuke. Most Captains haven't shown their Bankai until TYBW+ either because they never needed it, it's a trump card they would lose, it's so destructive that it could harm reality itself, or most likely for Aizen's case his hubris thought everyone was unworthy from going full power or that his Bankai didn't have the same utility as his Shikai. I think it's silly to think one of the smartest guys who fooled the entirety of SS for over a century then completely bodied almost all the Gotei 13 at the same time and the forced HM into submission (without the use of Bankai) doesn't have access to Bankai.

Tsukuyomi has been used to make someone live out their entire life in about a nanosecond and torture Kakashi for 72 hours in a second putting him in a coma. Tsukuyomi is more about damage and getting information so it taking a long time would be a detriment. Obito keeps Yagura under an unnamed genjutsu for 10 years to control the mist village. It’s different objectives. For length to have more consideration if it was Obito’s genjutsu vs KS I would take the targets life span into account because no genjutsu in Naruto has to last more than that in an active war zone and if KS was shorter there would probably be issues with the plot altogether. If you can use Tsukuyomi as many times as you want. Either be willing to go blind or have EMS.

Izanami does not require eye contact, this is true. But its actually utility depends on other factors like the opponent attempting to change fate or not Being tru to themselves and who they are

Your wrong can naruto characters free themselves. Of course they can. Aizen blade controls all the five senses. It doesnt do anything to the sixth sense. The sixth sense is sensing blood lust using chakra or raising ones power or decreasing it. In the story aizen could not make you weaker then you were. Infact a hole in the story all you needed was unohana to fight him alone and the story would be over. Seeing as all you would have needed was to summon the reiroku ribbons. If you kept them invisble you would never lose track of aizen. Anyway The people of naruto can literally end illusions on themselves by taking control of their chakra and siezing it. Stopping the spiritual energy that aizen must use to exert control. The reason being that chakra is strongly tied to organs but are separate helps. (The chakra system is a seperate subject then the flesh of a person) The sharingan and byukagan can literally pierce the viel of the illusion.
