- I had a dream of having a pool this summer. With work I don’t get to go out much so why not have my own? Problem 1- I want to do it cheap. Problem 2- How?! Well a 399 dollar pool from Walmart and roughly 6-700 dollars in lumber got it done!

Very nice
Nice job
There you go ! When its hot you'll be loving life 😅
It’s been 90 the last couple days! Been awesome!
Beautiful
U should stain it, or keep it the way you want either way it looks great
I’m gonna stain it the same color and the lower deck. I’m still working on it. Need to finish out the last corner of the deck.
I mean technically it's a pool but nobody thinks I want a pool and is picturing one of these throw away pools 😂
I can buy 10 of them for the same price of one of the permanent ones. 😆
But,but, but ,you can't swim in it
@@dustinpomeroy8817 So you and Charlie must hang at diddy's pool partys. Cool
Lets not get too many people up on that deck, also lets not let the local building inspector know what you’ve been up too in your spare time.
😂😂
Yeah, just what we all need more beurocratic red tape to jump through so we can grease the local politicians pockets then turn around and use our own money against us. You sound like you voted for Joe biden
So you still had to use some money....
It looks fantastic. You did a great job
Eating out one time a day for 365 days you will spend 5500 dollars. Every 4 months you will spend 1450 eating out. Just saying. Also I can afford this because I live within my means instead of spending everything I make to look like I have money like the rest of the world
And no HOA telling you what to do.
That’s why I moved. I paid for this place. I’m gonna do what I want.
Its true I dont have money for food
So you still had to have money...
Did a great job looks fantastic
If you lack $1,000, perhaps it's prudent to reconsider prioritizing the construction of a pool and deck in the first place.
Government gonna take that tiny property before you know it 😂
What are you even talking about?
Yeah $1000 for all that, but don’t forget the cost of running the pool pump, or the water bill to fill the pool. Regardless, doing it yourself is the way to do it, if you don’t know. Try to learn, if you can’t learn, I hope you’re parents are rich
It’s not too bad. I had a hot tub and it wasn’t too hard on the electric bill. I am outside the city limits technically so my water and electricity are cheaper here.
Loooks amazing also all the talk about how you have to have money to have nice stuff let me just tell you those people who have it all don’t care about any of it, like you can APPRECIATE that pool for instance more than a billionaire enjoys (OR APPRECIATES) their lambo it’s all in the minds eye don’t get fooled by appearance. it’s all about appreciation of what you got thats what matters . .
Love that. That’s how my wife and I think about things! We are both very frugal and that’s why we are able to do the things we do. We both work very long hours and we spend wisely. Everyone thinks you have to spend spend spend and look like you have everything. I would rather people think I’m pour so they leave me alone. 😂 also my daughter loveeeessss the pool.
@@saturnspeedshopthat’s sounds amazing the family time with your daughter and wife is one of the best things in life better than any car or gemstone that’s amazing I pray many loving days for you sir❤❤❤
Still gotta have money to have your pool.
Stope eating out. Over the course of a year based on spending 10-15 a day you will save 3500-5500 bucks. All that is is an excuse not to change your situation.
@@saturnspeedshop Stope changing ur video title. 😉 good advice though. Should also try buying a hair trimmer instead of going to the barber. The trimmer pays for itself after just one use. Take at least 10% of your savings on next haircut and invest for your future.
A real pool is like a child that doesn't speak it just cost money man kind of like a boat just keep throwing money into it
There are ways to do it cheap though. That’s why I did it this way. If the pool falls apart I can buy a new one every year for 10 years before even paying for the materials for a nice one lol.
That is probably the best way to do it the disposable way
Yeaaaaa im calling bs.
Pool was 399 at Walmart. 600-700 in cheap lumber and screws. Maybe a little more than 1000 but not much!
