Big Levels / Bald Mountain is one of my favorite places to hit in the western VA area. It can be a completely different trail from one day to the next, depending on the weather.
Thanks for watching 🤙. This was the first trail we hit in VA when we moved here. We were told the same when we asked where to go for some fun and challenging trails. The rain definitely made for a good time 😎
Appreciate you checking out the video! At the time we filmed this, we only had the one off-road capable rig and were new to the state so we didn't really know anyone. Didn't want that stopping us from exploring, though. We've since picked up a 2017 4runner as a backup vehicle for when we do the more difficult trails 👌🏻
@@VenturesOffroad Great have fun and welcome to Va. I live in Newport News. IT is a shame that Shoe Creek is closed for a complete through ride. It was fun. There are many others. Also many Jeep Clubs in the state. Take care, Dave.
You should not have had any problems running bald mountain trail with that jeep, maybe a more aggressive tire. I run a stock wrangler with off road tires on it all the time, no problems and no spotter.
@@VenturesOffroad That's good, I'm glad your family made it to VA and got to hit some of our trails. Bald Mountain is a good trail a lot of jeepers like the deep mud, I actually do not, I go around when I can. If you visit again, FB page VA jeep off road to find some company. Save travels & happy trails overlanders.
@@billveder1071 we actually live in VA currently. We've done Potts but our Jeep is a little less capable than needed to do all the hard sections. Planning to go back hopefully next year and give it another go.
Nice video
Awesome vid dude! We are running this next week hope we can make it. Looks like y’all had fun!
Thanks for checking out our channel! If it's been raining up there, you're guaranteed to have a blast 🤙

So you start in the north end?
@@appalachhaun_adventures Most people run Big Levels from the north (Stuarts Draft) end, starting on Coal Rd. You can start from either end though.
On our list! Be there this week!
Woooo go Nicole!! Man, I'd be afraid of hitting something in those deeper puddles though...
Hi , so big levels and bald mountain are the same trail?
It's a fun trail, been twice. Second time rescuing a truck from the puddles
Thanks for watching! We had a lot of fun out there too. It was the first trail we did in VA.
Nice, Nicole!! Proud of you!! Left rear tail light out?
You have a keen eye, Lynne! Luckily, we caught it too and got it fixed before hitting the road to head back home 👍
AND by yourself, its a long walk out of there, you might think of at least a pair of Jeeps.

The voiceover parts are rather quiet.
Thanks for the feedback! We'll pass it on to the editor.
FROM Co. you might have a bit of Cow Boy in you. Sometime check out the Va. Horse Center. Not that much further.

It went pretty smoothly other than that bigger mud hole we went through. All good, though. Made for a good time 🤙
