A multi chain layer secured by ZK power. Sounds practical for most business needs coming.
This is probably the only token I support besides BTC, based solely on it's technical superiority/innovation. Hope to see them keep keeping their promises, but let's also be fair here- just like the Curve exploit, the more connected and huge this gets the harder it will get hit by any bugs. Extremely important to test hard before going live, and have bug bounties, and adversarial testing etc.
just carefull guys this kind of video are just made before huge dump! Polygon has broken the major bull structure and another huge dump is round the corner before buy make sure you make the right decision or wait few month and buy very cheap polygon! I am an inside trader with 30 years experience!
The Chain-linkage. What they have produced. Web3D. What a beautiful way to improve the EVM TPM. I can see a few ways this could objectively change the way business is done by reducing the cost of knowledge and negating the premium of trust from all speculation.

Will Matic holders have to manually convert their Matic tokens to pol tokens?
If you hold in CEX, probably not - the CEX will do it for you
If you hodl yourself, you'll have to exchange in a simple step

What is the official launch date of Polygon 2.0?
I have most of my matic on a hardware wallet, that I don't plan on touching for 5 - 10yrs.
Now with Pol token replacing matic, do I need to do anything?
Will I simply receive 1:1 pol in my wallet?
Will we have to rush to then sell our old matic tokens as quick as possible after receiving pol, before matics price crashes?
yes you will need to send the matic to a smart contract that will give an equal amount of pol
1on1 but matic has fixed total pol will not
@@reocam8918 yes, the new token will be inflationary, but only by 2% per year and it was done for a reason
Love to see this happen and Polygon to finally be able to be seen as a L2

Great interview :) very big upgrade for all of web3 really. I agree about the promises kept phrase, I remember minting and buying on pos chain a year or two ago just hoping it would work out to a layer 2 eventually so all of that didn't just fade away. And they have kept their promises so far. One of the few tbh.

Only my concern In web3 infrastructure projects is that, I hope it doesn't work like a power infrastructure in late 80's like how the value of power & infra companies stocks has been de-valued over time.
What is with all of the ZK hype? From using these blockchains, it is clear to me that ZK chains are more expensive. so what's the point? Better security?

I love polygon/matic and am genuinely interested in hearing their plans, BUT It has become difficult to trust the information coming from the Bankless team given recent events and trends...especially when there are massive conflicts of interest.
>see episodes that seem more like 'pump your bags/investment' sessions with no critiques or pushback (David admitting he guided the ZKSync team through the interview), the Ledger partnership and fiasco, the World Coin 'interview', etc.
...and now we have an interview where both David and Ryan stand to profit if things go well. In this case, everything might be completely on the up and up, but once credibility begins to take a hit...

the founders are not in sync. that concerns me. I do have matic tokens.
