Brilliant. You're the only one that I've seen that mentions "a washer on the right & NON on the left for the caster bar." (For Australia etc.) Cheers well done! Front large nut 148Nm 4 x small nuts 23Nm Nut at other end of rod ( on control arm ) 103Nm If it's got knocks etc. Replace the stabilizer supports, strut mounts & their bearings & bump stops. The struts themselves are mostly gone as well. ( New shocks in the rear are easy to replace.) Before one gets to 100,00km it's most likely the shocks and struts are better off to be replaced. NEVER FORGET to look at the centre drive shaft bearing for torn rubber mounting if it's a clunk when going over speed bumps ( and the 2 rubber couplings, ) especially the front one on the shaft held on with 6 bolts.
I’ve got a vz ss too - but the 6 litre one from 2006. I’ve done the front castor rod bushes a couple of years ago and they are still good. I’ve got a clunk when turning hard and also if I brake hard. So I reckon it’s the bushes in the lower control arm. Can you tell by looking at the bushes if they’re rooted? Maybe rattle it round a bit - I’ll try and see. Thanks for the vid mate. Was good to watch and gave me inspiration to get on with my ss
Glad you liked the video. Noise could be from sway bar bushes also. Unfortunately its a matter of elimination. Even my RWC mechanic couldn't pin point my noises. Good luck with it.
Bit late but a common place for noise to come from is the metal braces near the firewall, people spend a fortune changing suspension parts and sometimes it's just the brace is loose and move as the body flexes when turning or braking and makes a knocking sound.

Good video mate cheers, what ramps are you using there?
thanks mate. think im using standard ramps with extenders that are made for lowered cars.
