It’s great that the same type of problems this video is talking about: division based on politics, race, economics, etc is clearly on display in the comments. Everyone mentioning the opposite political side like it’s some team sport while failing to realize they’re falling for the exact type of problem this video talks about.
It happens because people either can’t comprehend ambiguity, or they have zero tolerance for it. It’s a ticking time bomb, a disaster waiting to happen.
The first day I decided to learn new words about politics, I chose that video. I wrote the new words in the notebook, searched their meanings and listened that vid again a lot of times that I am confident to understand each word. But just in the context of this vid. I need more time and access them on different contexts to penetrate exactly their meanings

I didn't see the video, but the question itself, I think I can answer it... He rose to power through necessity and desperation of his peers. Simple has that. People sometimes forget what they want when their survival is at risk.
The tone of the animation is so spot on for the subject matter. Slow and deliberate. Metaphors and slow reveales are perfect.
Finally someone, after hundreds scrolled by, commending in detail about the animation and not just "commenting" ! I appreciate this because I ain't a student of animation so I wanted to know which particular thing has caught my interest.
I wasn't able to articulate that, probably now I am numb to these type of animation since I've seen many in patriotic shows in my country, India!

not quite... "Sturmabteilung" translates to "Stormdivision or Stormsection". "Sturmtruppen" (the literal translation of Stormtroopers) were actual German units that fought during WW1. They were elite units specifically trained to storm enemy fortifications...hence the name...They were used to great effect on the eastern Front (especially by Generalfeldmarschall August von Mackensen - the famous "Last Hussar") they weren't as effective on the western Front, although Erwin Rommel did break through the French lines at Chemin des Dames with the use of Stormtroopers units and his Royal Württemberg Mountaineer ("Königlich Württembergisches Gebirgskorp") troops... although he eventually had to fall back because his supply lines were in danger, as the rest of the imperial army hadn't been able to keep up...
I think he got it from The Roman Empire because the Romans were at war and they gave Caesar emergency powers. There were some other connections but I forgot. The Imperial Army was based of the Nazis but the rise of power I believe is connection with Rome.

One very common nickname the leader had/still has is "Hitty". Although not usually written in many books, several people including Generals and Field Marshalls called him this. At least 2 girlfriends called him this as well.

"how fragile democratic institutions can be in the face of angry crowds", I feel this sentence speaks to my country a lot. How the politic dramas keep happening here and there. Some has a way of calming 'the angry crowds' with money, even when they don't know what they are doing. Play of emotions, everyone?

The anger comes from both sides. No matter who wins the anger of the other party grows. The Capitol rioters and its sympathizers will only grow more frustrated. Even if their ideal candidate wins in 4 years the anger will rise on the opposing side as well. A United country is not on the horizon

About the most interesting thing about Stalin's rise was the use of a 1920's era "photoshopping". A much more interesting story would be Lenin's rise (though they touched on this in the History vs Lenin Episode) and the competing ideologies that brought czarist Russia in 1917 to the kerensky regime to the October revolution to the Mensheviks to the White Army to Bolshevik infighting (Trotsky, Lenin, and Stalin) to Stalinist Soviet Union all within a mere 7-8 years.
