I wonder what's the difference between this model and the new 5g outdoor hub. I got the outdoor hub getting around 400-600 mbps download and 20-40 mbps upload but in terms of ping I needed to connect my Ps5 visa etherent to get a good 20-40 ping
Someone is selling an unlocked version of the device on marketplace which I'm thinking of getting. My question is if I move my landline to a Voip provider, could I plug in my phone into this and make calls like I'm doing with my virgin media router?
Like using Ethernet on a regular router, just the internet component is delivered wirelessly instead of using fibre. We didn't try CS2 but it was fine in TF2, Rocket League and BF2042.
@@MA4REAL highest 480mpbs down average 1-300, up and down depending on time of day but relatively good. MS is higher but not by much, upload speed is pretty bad 5-10 up and down but overall very satisfied
How do i even find router settings? I cant even get to them to ensure upnp is on or anything. They told me: great for gamibg, okay so it doesnt work at all on the xbox
We were wrong - the top three lights indicate signal strength, so essentially you're on one bar of signal. It might be worth relocating the router somewhere with better signal.
I have 5G in my area, if I buy this router from ebay and a Three SIM with unlimited data, do you think it will work? I would assume I would need to make for the SIM is working properly in a smart phone first
It should, the difference compared to buying from Three is you can test it with them and send it back if you want, which might be more of a hassle if you buy the unit separately.

It should work, but might be best to check with your VoIP provider.
What do you mean with a wired connection like from the hub to the pc but still mobile broadband from the sim to the hub? Did you try cs2 on this?

Think it'll be fine, you'll be at 40ms or so if you can use an Ethernet cable rather than WiFi.

It's the same as a normal router, you login to the admin portal using the local IP.

Try to move it somewhere else, like the other side of the house, to see if you can get better signal.
