2014 RAM 1500 Black Widow Race Venom

I swapped the exhaust from a single-in/dual-out 18" Magnaflow performance system to a new dual-in/dual-out 9" Black Widow Race Venom system. In doing so, I also made this a near-true dual set up with the muffler acting as the H-pipe between the dual in and dual out pipes. I also removed both of the factory installed resonators for a more aggressive sound. The video includes a description of the original set up, a video clip of a cold start on the morning I swapped the exhaust, a description of the new set up, and a video clip of a cold start the following day.

While I love the rumble at low rpm, I'm getting annoyed by the rasp at mid-rpm and under moderate to heavy acceleration. Thinking of putting on an X-pipe followed by twin Black Widow 250's to get rid of the rasp, or twin Flowmaster Super 40's.

Hey Bill I have the 40 series flowmaster. I just ordered the race venom . I wanted alit more bark I’m hoping that muffler does it for me. Wish I could hear yours with rev’s lol.
