Just seen your comment from 3 years ago Bill. Don't know if you've seen dead of night yet,or whereabouts you are,but it's on tv tonight in England..on talking pictures freeview 81,or sky 328 at 6-50 PM. I know for sure I'll be watching it again. It gave me nightmares for months as a 7/8 year old,but also gave me a long-time love of horror movies. A Brilliant Classic! Happy New Year!
Trviial fact - this movie was inspiration for the Steady State model of Hoyle, Bondi and Gold, which postulates that new matter is continuously created as the universe expands,
A classic!
This movie actually scared me. Must be seen by horror movie fans.
WHY can't we see this great movie?!

Pretty cool movie. Falls apart a bit at the end, but still pretty damn cool.
Falls apart? The ending sends chills up the spine.
I think it’s perfect- even the comic episode is really unusual for the time that works as a breather before the truly shocking instalment
The movie collapsing on itself at the end into utter chaos and sheer terror was the perfect depiction of a nightmare. Ingenious!
It’s on Fawesome tv for FREE
