There is actually an easier way to do this, your bike or quad already has gears so u dont need the 6 gears like he has here, u just need 4 gears in total. 2 for the input shaft 1 for the output shaft and 1 for changing to reverse. i made 1 for my two seater off road go kart ill try to post a link here of how i made it its actually really simple

Without a constant oil bath, the gears will eventually fail. make a cover some how to seal it and add a little oil so the largest diameter gear spins through it. The oil will spread to the other gears automatically. ....
It is difficult to me to make a video again because the whole gear setup is installed in a go kart and I am out of station. I will make a video as soon as possible so you can see the directions easily
