  • Servicing my friends Lancer.
Changing oil, air filter, brakes, pollen filter and gear oil, and following it up with a quick wash.
First video of 2022 coming in hot.
After passing 9000 and 4000 views for my two most popular videos in 2021, this year is looking to be an exciting one for this small channel. 100 subscribers seems to be just a few steps ahead, and a few projects are starting to line up and near readiness after years of waiting.
Starting off this year with a relatively simple service job from November last year, we should soon be moving onto and continuing some new (and old) members of the Castle Bravo garage.
A big thank you to all the loyal subscribers, and a big welcome to our new visitors.

I have an 08, mine was busted too. I went short ram injen intake since I'm going for a rally type build. I love it.

I can totally feel you on the air filter, it takes me ages to get it on and off.

    Quick question, I have a 2009 Lancer ES 2.0 . I’ve been using 5w -20 should I be using 5w - 40 instead?

Penrite recommends its 5w-40 oil for the Lancer engine. However I would check locally with an auto parts store or through an app/ website of your preferred trusted oil manufacturer to see exactly which grade works for your car and in your climate. In some areas the manufacturer might specify a different oil grade to comply with local emissions laws or to work better in colder/warmer climates.

14mm from memory. But check with your local auto parts store or dealer first

The orchestra you use in the video doesn't suit the content.
