those homes are gorgeous!! And the home market is so crazy right now. Definitely a sellers market. If you time it right, you can get an amazing home at a great deal. I had this dream home in mind but it was way out of our price range (300K). So we got a smaller house in our price range. Then the market crashed in 2008 and the construction stopped on houses out here in AZ. When we finally got ready to buy, that house in that community we originally wanted was still available and they were just starting to start construction on the community again. This time the house was in our price range (195K, 6 bedrooms/3 bath). We got it! I love this house and am so happy we waited. Now that it's a sellers market and I've been offered 500K for it. So who knows,, maybe by the time you and Zac look for your dream home, it'll be a buyer's market.
You absolutely need to go to front porch Sundays!! It’s like a big farmer’s market type thing in south end with a ton of local vendors. They have it the first Sunday of every month :)
I hope you were able to get the dispute in your favor; that happened to me once when others were parking like I did; I had to use the RR so badly at my daughters college after dropping her off in another town. The ticket guy stated I could dispute it; I did kindly wrote a letter, and when I went up to police building, my car ID wasn't even registered. All was well. You two were sooo funny on 8:37 with the 'Tony' impressionist dialogue, I watched it several times cracking up, hilarious, Clancy you set yourself up!, loved it! Zac cracks me up with his words like 'commie', my husband would talk like him. So funny!
After college, I agree that making new friends are hard. Clancy you are very real on your channel and we love that about you! Really enjoyed seeing the houses in this vlog!
I've always found it hard to make friends even when I was younger due to being bullied in school, but as I've gotten older yes it is so difficult to make friends. I actually consider my cat my best friend which some people might consider weird. But, I feel like my cat understand me more than people do. I've had friends throughout the years, but those friendships fizzled out due to life circumstances changing like some friends got married and had kids, so their families take up more of their time and then some other friends just are too busy to get together. I really only have one group of poetry/writing group friends I would see once a month, but even I haven't seen them since April because it is unknown if we will have a venue to perform at this autumn and winter. That guy who gave you the ticket sounds unbelievable rude. For goodness sakes, most people would at least give you a warning and give you a chance to move. That's so cool that there are houses there that were built in 1894. I love old houses. They just have a classic and nostalgic feel to them. That's sad that a lot of air b and bs won't allow you to receive mail. I can understand them being nervous of people maybe receiving or sending drugs in the mail, but obviously you and Zak would never do that. People make such stupid rules. Happy for you that you received your make-up mirror! Haven't seen that nickname in the comments. Zancy sounds cute!

*housing right here in Charlotte - esp near dilworth & southend is pretty expensive but if you come towards matthews you can definitely get way more for your money. The houses in my neighborhood are from 300k-600k for 4-6 bedroom & 2800 -4000 square feet easily. But there are definitely also cheaper places too.*
Dilworth, Southend, Elizabeth are not towns, they are areas/neighborhoods in Charlotte. Pineville, Matthew's, Indian Trail, Monroe, Fort Mill is a town. I live in Belmont, that's a town. Lived is Charlotte and surrounding areas since 1970.
Just saying - sometimes those older construction homes are built better than our new construction practices! Always get a home inspection obvs but sometimes you even find treasures like copper plumbing which is bomb! They don’t use it much now in new construction because of cost.
I have that same mirror, I bought it for grad school over the summer. You have to charge it like every 3 days otherwise it might die while you are doing your makeup. But it’s great! And it’s dimmable if you long press the button!
I find that the older one gets, the harder it is to make good friends. Lots of acquaintances here. Quality over quantity is definitely the way to go as you get older.
I'm glad you are still enjoying the Charlotte area. I think the real estate market is crazy and with the interest rates going up again it limits how much people can afford. Here in the Austin area people that purchased homes 4-6 years ago for $400K now have homes that are worth one million. When I think of million dollar homes I'm thinking something really special but the houses aren't special they are your standard 3-4 bedroom homes with two baths. It all makes the Cincinnati area seem like a steal. I understand about how difficult it is to make "real" friends and I find as you get older it only becomes hards for sure. Have a good weekend!!!

My husband and I are the same way as you and Zac:) He has more friends and they all know each other while I have less friends and they are mostly individuals. I left my country to the state for a college so those friends are the ones I made in my 20s (My childhood friends in my home country know each other and we do hang out as a group!). I don’t really like hanging out in a big group setting so I don’t mind my friends don’t know each other, but I know they’ll all get along too so if I end up throwing a party (which I won’t lol), we will all have a good time :) I love hanging out with my husband’s friends too😌🥰

I’m in Canada but I’d love to live there all the history in that area! I’m in a town in Fernie British Columbia originally my town was for coal miners so you can buy little miners houses from the 1890-1910s when they were built. And “bigger” homes still not giant from early 1900s downtown. My town still close to coal mines but they make $90,000/yr starting wage. We are now a top winter and summer resort, what got us on the resort title was our ski hill. We recently got classified as a Resort Municipality a typical 3 bed home nothing fancy will sell for $1 million! Rent for a 1 bed or bachelor suit is $1,500-$1,800/month. My family recently moved to the next town over 20mins away due to the cost of living closer to the coal mines but a lot cheaper but still work in the resort town but not resort related jobs.
I love you and Zac's banter. I went on a vacation to Hawaii and went on a few tours. There were a lot of couples celebrating anniversary. They were always asked what's the secret to a successful marriage and a lot of them said communication and humor so I think you and Zac are on the right track. Also common answer happy wife, happy life, so Zac if you are reading this make sure you keep Clancy happy (use up the old toothpaste before opening a new one hahahaha) Love this vlog! I got a speeding ticket once under similar circumstances on Memorial Day 5 years ago. The cop basically said he had to write a ticket to meet his department quota. All he told me was “do you know the speed limit” It was a 60 mile zone and I was going 70 when I got pulled over, but literally every car was going 70 or more all around me. I was just going with the flow of traffic and he just singled me out. It was essentially legalized harassment.
I bought an iPad last week and it should be coming next week. I am honestly so scared of it getting lost in the mail or having a problem coming to my college. But getting packages is so exciting!!! cnc!!!
Hey Clancy! I rarely comment on TH-cam videos, but I recently made a “Happy Birthday Video” for my best friend. It took me 15+ hours to edit and ended up being about 15 minutes long, and I now have a WHOLE new appreciation for all that you put into editing your videos!! The formatting, added texts and crops, audio, etc. etc. makes your videos so enjoyable to watch !! I see you hard work and always look forward to your videos because of it:)
As someone who has edited in the past, I’m happy to hear this!!! With time you’ll get better at it, and this is especially true if you never have to do cross keying. Oh man I remember doing that, and was very frustrated.

I had that happen in AZ and the lady was screaming at me as my kids were walking to the car 😮 she was writing the ticket and I yelled very hard at her and said their putting the BLEEEEEPPPPing suitcases in the Bleeepping car if you ticket me I will get you fired!!!!!! I swear they get pd per ticket! Probably some bloke probably got the ticket she wrote for me cuz the tires weren’t moving on the car!!!!!!

I know in Florida where I live, sometimes it’s hard to get insurance on very old homes! So beware of that. I’m not sure how it is in other states

I got a speeding ticket once under similar circumstances on Memorial Day 5 years ago. The cop basically said he had to write a ticket to meet his department quota. All he told me was “do you know the speed limit” It was a 60 mile zone and I was going 70 when I got pulled over, but literally every car was going 70 or more all around me. I was just going with the flow of traffic and he just singled me out. It was essentially legalized harassment.
So frustrating!!!
I bought an iPad last week and it should be coming next week. I am honestly so scared of it getting lost in the mail or having a problem coming to my college. But getting packages is so exciting!!! cnc!!!

Hey Clancy! I rarely comment on TH-cam videos, but I recently made a “Happy Birthday Video” for my best friend. It took me 15+ hours to edit and ended up being about 15 minutes long, and I now have a WHOLE new appreciation for all that you put into editing your videos!!
The formatting, added texts and crops, audio, etc. etc. makes your videos so enjoyable to watch !! I see you hard work and always look forward to your videos because of it:)
As someone who has edited in the past, I’m happy to hear this!!! With time you’ll get better at it, and this is especially true if you never have to do cross keying. Oh man I remember doing that, and was very frustrated.

Happy Saturday Clancy! I think as we all get older it can be harder to make friends because you’re not always around people you’re same age like you were in college or high school. I also struggle to make friends so I am in the same boat. It definitely seems easier for guys to make friends than women.

I had that happen in AZ and the lady was screaming at me as my kids were walking to the car 😮 she was writing the ticket and I yelled very hard at her and said their putting the BLEEEEEPPPPing suitcases in the Bleeepping car if you ticket me I will get you fired!!!!!!
