I have a 2020 model. It’s a blast to ride. I installed a Leo Vince X3 slip on exhaust and a K&N air filter. I noticed quite a bit of difference in throttle response, torque, and top end power. It sounds amazing with the Leo Vince exhaust also.
I am really thinking of getting the x3 as well. Is it really that noticeable even without a header swap? Did you have to rejet? Did you do the snorkel drop or the 3x3? Thanks!
@@machupikachu1085 It is. I did not have the carb re-jetted, snorkel drop, or the 3x3 mod. I’d thought about doing those, but I am satisfied with the couple of enhancements I’ve done, slip-on exhaust and K&N air filter.
Im relying on Australia and US for DRZ spare parts 😅 my country doesn't allow new carb bikes into thr country. It all has to be EFI now for new incoming bikes in Singapore due to their stupid emission laws 😪
No shocking. What they fail to understand is how small of an impact these bikes have on the environment. Who cares if its carb if its getting stupid good gas millage.

I've always liked DRZs, but they're just a rip off now. They're old af and Suzuki is milking them too hard. It's $8k for: - 25 year old bike - 400cc - 31hp - 322lbs - little to no electronics or $12k for: - Brand new - 700cc - 74hp - 6 lbs heavier - the best electronics in the game If you can finance an $8k, you can finance a $12k bike. If you can't afford the difference, you REALLY shouldn't be spending your money on a bike.
Plenty of used ones 2022 or even 2023 for a $6500 in my area. Most already have Yoshimura pipe and jet kit installed. Local dealer was asking $10k for a new one OTD. No way in hell!!!
I had a gsxr 600 and sold it to buy a drz400sm and i dont regret it at all or miss the speed . All i do its pop wheelies and have fun i love my drz.
Gawd I love DRZ’s such a fun bike isn’t it. 🤗
I bought mine in '21, and I haven't stopped riding it.
Other than tires, oil, and other routine maintenance, it hasn't needed a thing.
Buy one.

I gotta 2020 too i love it they mad fun im addicted to pop wheelies on my drz i got the mrd shorty exhaust and its mad loud lol
I ride an MT07 and my buddy rides a fully moded DRZ400 and he still can’t do longer rides. It’s a fun bike but not for an only bike, in my opinion.
They aren’t the most comfortable I’ll give you that but people do tour on them. 🤗
If he can't do long rides, take you MT07 trail riding with him instead. Be a bro.
just got a black and gold 2018. stoked
Sick buy dude! 😎
@@Paramoto959 Thanks brother! Great video by the way!
I held out for one of those, too. Best colorway IMO.

I think it’s just the clamp 😎
You have smaller ones bars on the s
Watching this then he turns around talks about owning a fz 07 subscribed, Next bike is a a fz 07!
Welcome to the channel! Yup my main squeeze is a MT-07 😎
In 1991, Italian manufacturer Gilera released the Nordwest model, the first factory-produced supermoto.
DRZ was not the first supermoto dude
The DRZ is the first widely known supermoto for most is my point.
And no one’s even heard of it, DRZ’s name rings out coast to coast like butter and toast
Wish wie had Them New in Europe . the prices range From 5 to 8 K Euro (used obviously) and then they are ridden 20 000 miles+ already
8k euro with 20k miles. 🤯🤯
20k miles for a Dr.Z aint squat. Go buy and enjoy!
After I upgrade my dirt bike I plan on turning my wr 450 in to a supermoto
Cycle Cruza has one and it honestly looks like a blast to ride!!
The new ones drop in Jan Feb 2025 DR Zed S & SM
Bro i want to get one for my stable lmao
Me too! 😎
i rode one of these turds up to 97,000 miles lol.
97k miles on a Z!?!? 🤯
@@Paramoto959 yup...97,000mile drz400sm
That’s got to be the highest mile bike I’ve ever heard of 😎😎
@@Paramoto959 all bikes in general or just the drz400???
some guy on youtube has 2 tenere700's, 1 has 169,000 miles, 1 has 174,000miles lol
@707LAKE that’s more then all the miles I’ve ever ridden on everything put together.
But why choose this over a DR650?
Bro is this bike made in 2024 ?
Yep, still in production for the US and Australia.
Nice bike but it needs a bigger gas tank
Very true.. there are mods that can be done though 😎
It’s a supermoto, not a gold wing! If you’re touring on a supermoto, then yeah, I guess, but that certainly isn’t most riders…
needs a bigger tank default imo for the price you pay, who wants the frequent stops at gas stations? that blows. That DRZ is not dirt cheap tf>
Also…. A sixth gear imo 🤷🏻
35" seat height. Yeah no. Not for me. This is why I bought a 310 GS for my beginner bike.
It takes a bit of confidence but if you can get over that it’s a great first bike. 😎

Actually the DRZ have 40hp but to the wheel it’s 33hp
Not as much fun though.
50% more money, more reliable, and with FAR less maintenance, right? Right?
