I have a double door Samsung Fridge of 350litres model. As it was not cooling Called a technician. He said there is no Gas and filled the latest IsoButane Propane gas . After 2 days again the cooling stopped. He came back and said the condenser is leaking and fixed a new condenser externally on the backside. Now again the fridge worked for two days well and stopped. It appears the compressor is working the evaporator fans are working as we can see the airflow. When we called the technician he says it could be the evoporator coil. He hasn't come so far due to lockdown problems. What could be wrong with this fridge. I have already spent about 5000K on this so far. Is it worth changing the Evaporator now? Though the fridge is very old the body and interior are as good as new. Can you suggest what we can do? Thanks in advance!

maybe a leakage in evaporator capillary joint they fix a locking on it. tell him to solder it no need to change the evaporator, don't pay for this it is his job to complete it

Aaj same process se repair karaya hai lg double door fridge me. Cost lagi 2k..ek info confirmation ke liye janna chahta hoon, r134a ko load kiya vaccum ke baad 10 point vaccum dial gauge par aur fridge me requirement 120gm ki hai, to technician ka kahna tha ki 10 par needle aane par approx 120gm gas ho jayegi. Kya ye baat sahi bola unhone?

I have whirlpool refrigerator in that due to low gas pressure, compressor head gasket got burnet out. I have replaced the gasket and checked the pressure and it's giving 500 pressure in 12 seconds with around 0.4 amps. Now when gas is charged sometimes compressor got verymuch hot. I checked the temperature of compressor and was 57 degrees at that time. Please let me know if this under limit or its very high. Earlier it got overheated because defrost water bucket was broken and there was no water to cool the pipes.

At point 2:11, you show an ingenious way to connect two sections of capillary tubes. Is there a possibility of the refrigerant expanding/changing state while in the small section of copper tubing that is used to join the two capillaries, just as the refrigerant expands/changes state when the capillary empties the refrigerant into the evaporator? It would appear that the refrigerant would change state when entering and when exiting the adjoining copper tubing.......Or is that section of adjoining tubing not long enough to make a difference? yes, the refrigerant will expand. for that reason, I placed that joint inside the freezer section. there will no difference in a cooling effect. still that fridge working perfect till now
