FILM DESCRIPTION:
Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. That comment about the specs is so true lol, like those movies where the nerdy girl takes off her glasses and is suddenly not ugly or whatever even though they were all pretty damn good looking the entire time

Seriously, the specs thing is everywhere. In movies, in music videos (e.g Taylor Swift's 'You belong with me'). As someone with glasses; it can get pretty annoying.

That's ok. Wonder Woman is promoting Doritos, so she's about to get a tummy.
At first I didn't know this line was meant to be comical. I always thought it was meant to show how Diana genuinely doesn't see the point of trying to appear slimmer and thinks Etta looks fine regardless of her weight. Though I guess it is easy for Diana to say, since she comes from a women-only society where everyone is gorgeous.
I like the character of the secretary, she's intelligent, modern funny and benevolent with WW, not the usual movie sterotype of the less attractive/jealous/mean woman.
She's also Dawn from The Office (UK version).. Pam's equivalent

Etta Candy is by far my favourite character from the movie. The actress who plays her is rather charming.

I can't get over how adorable this whole movie is.
It's one of the few movies I own. After watching this I thought to myself, "My daughter needs to see this movie one day, before they stop making movies with wit and charm."

I don't think she was pregnant throughout the shooting of this film. If I remember correctly, it was during JL shooting when she was pregnant. I think only in some reshoots of WW was when she was pregnant.
She was pregnant in some of the reshoots that happened much later, not throughout the movie.
Why is her being pregnant at the time remarkable?

I loved outfit number 2. With the blouse, pencil skirt and boots. My Ghawd. Lovely. Gal Gadot is the only star that I have ever felt the need to cry just by seeing her on screen. She made me a fan of WW. Only star that I would breakdown over if she surprises me.
It did look good except the pencil skirt. It didn't look comfy.

As much as i enjoy seeing Gal in different outfits i just love the secretary in this scene, she is briliant.
One of the funnest scenes in a really good movie. They really made an exceptional choice for the actress to play Wonder Woman, and excellent choices of actors for the characters all around.
They were already influenced due to Batman vs Superman, where Gal Gadot was in that movie first
Diana's hat and glasses, Steve's fedora and trench coat, I love the sense of fashion from this era.
I love how Patty Jenkins paced this film. She made the beginning and the end of the film as serious as films such as BvS and Man of Steel, but here in the middle of the plot she adds humor and positivity to take the load off for a little bit and give a refreshing atmosphere. Brilliant!
Gal really captures the innocence of Diana after she entered the human world. Its really cute yet captivating. Just like in 1:10.
The woman who plays the secretary is just great. I love her character.

Lol so ive always been an avid marvel fan and this was the first dc movie ive ever watched and i was just so shook at how they played such playful music in this scene bc marvel is always so serious with their music scores. This scene alone made me fall in love with dc

@@sumedhasankar5723One of the outfits was quite narrow around her neck. So she said that it was choking her. But the other woman was annoyed because she had already tried numerous outfits. So she said, can't say I blame it. You can see it at 1:45.

I love Gal. She's fantastic in every regard.
The bending and kicks, I do the same thing when buying pants and skirts. Mobility is a must for me in case I need to run or fight back.

I do that in class. A lot. Students whose photos were taken when they were not wearing glasses, I could not recognize then when they wear one and I have to hand them their presence sheet (which contains photos).
Or I guess I'm just that slow in recognizing people by their faces.

Moments like this is pretty rare in Hollywood these days. This movie depicts Diana as a strong female character but also doesn't mind portraying her as a genuine woman when she's not being badass.

Although the Secretary has little screen time, she's pretty much makes the most of it. She's like making of women in Fashion, and Superhero movies in general. NOT EVERYONE CAN LOOK DIFFERENT WITH GLASSES CLARK
With or without glasses, Gal Gadot can look beautiful regardless of the outfit or accessories.
Regardless of her physical beauty, Gal Gadot did the best job of leading a "super-hero" movie, and was great in "Justice League".
