Was that some kind of md chip? Maybe you should try playing burned games on it? I've fixed a few dives on these myself as a gateway into repairs haha
@painfulDwayne I suspect it's a mod chip yes. Can't see another reason for it being there. I'll definitely try that out once Ive recovered mentally from this and feel confident enough to try out a connector swap 😂
