@@DigitalDrew92 neither did I. I stumbled upon the Tomy brand by searching for defective things in Sweden. Fell in love with these toys esthetics and how well thought they were. Sounds really cool. I am too shaky for that 😂. Will you post pictures of the before and after somewhere? Would love to see!

@mkFix-pl I post them on Instagram on occasion if I think they turned out nice enough lol. I am printing out some Trench Crusade minis so hopefully they paint well and I will post them there.

@@DigitalDrew92 thanks Andrew, I truly appreciate your honest thoughts in every video! I think I agree with you. I also see a lot of fluctuations in the length of my videos so having one "shorter" channel and one full on relaxing, calm would be nice I think. I truly want to keep the relaxing vibes but believe it can be hard if I want to keep the videos shorter. I also really enjoy the cleaning process. Do you think having cleaning sped up is s good idea? I kinda like the sounds the brushes make sped up 😅. I'll go with two channels then :) Yeah Dwayne is awesome. My favourite channel :). Andy from Swindon Electronics is also good if you've seen that one. As a token of appreciation, I'll let you know I won an auction two days ago containing a broken Tomy bowling game, a broken Tomy racing game and a broken Tomy F1 game 🙃. Gonna be a fun video or three depending on the state of them

@mkFix-pl That sounds like some fun videos coming up, I think speeding up the cleaning videos takes away from them. Definitely enjoy the whole cleaning process in all its glory lol.

@@PainfulDwayne for sure. I did have discussions on Reddit with people and they said it's the GPU that is Starting to fail. But I will do a revisit video where I take my own 360 slim and install the mod chip there. At least I have a donor board :)

It's always so awesome to see what a huge difference some elbow grease can do.if you're interested in cleaning, there is a channel called "restorish" that I very much enjoy. I cannot tell you how much I love that little bottle. Game changer for me! Not fixing everything just gives me an excuse to order a butt-load of buttons later 😁

Thank you so much. It truly was. Honestly, if it wasn't for me recording a video of it I probably would have done just that 😅. I have a plan to do a revisit and know what I need to do. I appreciate you taking the time to write this and give me feedback. I totally agree with you about failing. That is when we learn the most and I did learn many things like actually doing good research about chips, using solder whick better, needing more diverse set of soldering iron tips (which I actually got today) and much more. We all make mistakes and posting mine feels genuine and rewarding. And hopefully someone will see this in the future before attempting a fix to know what to look out for :) I will definitely do a revisit after all the other projects I have in mind. Appreciate your comment. Yeah it's insane how used we are to just throw things away the moment the slightest thing goes wrong, without wondering why things behave strangely. Amazing that you keep your own things working for longer as well! Yeah ports and also scratches and or some missing plastic part just makes people think "junk". I bought 4 xbox 360s and 3 controllers for five GBP (shipping was 7 lol) as faulty recently. Controllers all work fine, just need a clean and new battery compartments. One xbox is not powering on, the other is an E version so I need a different power supply. Other xboxes work great and one of them is even modded. ^^ Also, thanks for the sub, I guess today is your lucky day since I try to post every thursday morning my time :)

@painfulDwayne I suspect it's a mod chip yes. Can't see another reason for it being there. I'll definitely try that out once Ive recovered mentally from this and feel confident enough to try out a connector swap 😂

@painfulDwayne Thanks. I appreciate someone way better than me taking an eye on it. I'll definitely do a revisit in the future where I'll: -test fixing the oxidized pins with deoxit - check all components thoroughly - maybe get a second, working copy just to compare chip values and see if a chip is busted
