Your voice is calming in an "everything is ok in the world" kind of way. Kinda like being a little kid in bed at night & hearing your parents chatting and laughing from the kitchen. Feels safe. So I could understand listening to it to fall asleep.
Agree, but I can't listen to fall asleep on the first 'listen' 'cause i find myself straining to stay awake to find out what happens next. On the replay, it works well for that purpose because there's no commercial interruptions to break up the 'flow' of the show. Remarkable.
Re: Falling asleep to Bothering Jesus. I've done it many times. You DO have a great voice for relaxing people! Your storytelling style and the way the audience responds to it seems to tell my subconscious that everything is ok. People are laughing and it's going to be fine!
There is a website that you can upload a full body photo to make your own cardboard cut out. (You have to cut out the pieces and glue it on cardboard, then cut the cardboard. One of my Art students is currently making one. I might have to make my own Mama Termite since I can’t buy one. 😅

I can’t explain it but the first few nights after my husband died I had you on repeat all night long on Netflix. I found some kind of comfort hearing your voice. Maybe you’re an angel. 😇
Same... I listen to the podcast constantly as white noise while working and falling asleep. KMs voice calms me (plus NO ADS!). I have probably played them all 5 or 6 times but only actually listened to 25% of the content, so will keep listening until it feels repetitive. I'm sure my listening habits skews the stats for Canada - it's just me and i'm not crazy!

@@cnsohm Exactly. There are just so many things, like holy shit and other areas of “can you believe this?” that requires voice level to increase. I would be startled awake. But you can’t have soothing voice during exciting or unbelievable stories. Soothing isn’t a word I would use. Maybe for the talking to feral cats and other animals - she saves the soothing for the fuzzy critters.
