I'm an African-American in my 40s, I did my African DNA test, and it revealed that I'm 100% Akan on my mom's side. I haven't done my dad's side yet, because the test is expensive, But on my dad's side maybe it'll be Benin or Nigeria. Anyways, we all don't have a lot of money, so places like this are helpful for people with low income. I haven't been to Africa yet, but I really want to return to Ghana and live amongst my ancestral people. 😊

Wow, this is so affordable, Ghana is more affordable then central Africa such as Cameroon in term of rent for something as big as the apartments you showed
WOW unbelievable 😮 In Los Angeles 1 bedroom go for over $2000 and 2 bedroom for over $3000. Definitely have to make some changes and visit Ghana to see if it's an option.

The bathrooms look very boring. Tiles look too busy. Who ever told Ghanaian developers those kind of tiles look good in bathrooms didn't help at all

I noticed that in West Africa they dont often build vertically when it comes to residential buildings,
They do build vertically, but that is not the norm.

How far is this place from the beach? How do you purchase furniture to fill the home? Can an American rent a care
Fortunately there's a new Mall opened just some few mins from that area which makes it stress free and convenient. Plus yes there's a beach not too far from there also.

Yes most unfurnished homes do not have these. Unless u want something furnished which will be much more expensive x

As long as your dog is civilized then no issues, but if it's an uncivilized mutt then look elsewhere.
I don’t own one but id say going for walks could be an issue depending on what part of Ghana u decide to move to due to limited walkways .. otherwise i dont imagine the issues being different to that of any other country xx

There was decent number of schools within about a mile. There was a hospital as well about 3 hospitals between 5 to 7 miles away

Carry your own hut and mud in your flight.....rest can be provided
You will have to buy a plot of land and then find people to build it for you, but it might be extremely difficult to find someone who knows how to do that because no one is building mud houses in our current generation. Consider building a brick house.

I not crazy about the tiles in the shower room and the kitchen. It's weird that the tiles are the same, why? Not being mean but the hand movements is too much especially with the nails.
