'My son wasn't a car thief" says a car thief's parent. And of COURSE the same parent tries to file a lawsuit against the police, meanwhile several young people were severely impacted by this young man's poor decisions. What a slap in the face that must have felt like to their families. The lack of accountability and responsibility was absolutely learned in the home, and all that was accomplished here was just more evidence that stereotypes exist for a reason. How disappointing.
I've seen police chases that got intense, but the 3rd video with the suspect fleeing from police with an officer in the vehicle is a new level.
SO TRAGIC !!
That dump truck is going to need a whole new font bumper.

It's time for parents to be parents. I have 4 kids, all adults now, and none of them were hanging out with thugs and car thieves. They sure as hell weren't out at night.
There are plenty of parents that do everything right but the kids go wrong anyway. Having a good mom and dad does increase the chances for a good outcome.

In the 2nd clip I find it funny that the driver decided to drive into oncoming traffic when he had no traffic on the correct side of the road. Goes to show how much thought goes into their decisions lol
As the voiceover said, he was probably hoping that driving into oncoming traffic would get the police to terminate pursuit. He was right: you can hear the dispatcher tell the officer 'cancel pursuit' just before the crash.

It amazes me that the young kids think they out drive a police officer with thousands of hour driving. It's bad enough they end up killing themselves but worse when they also take an innocent life.
