I don’t know if you’ve tried the Purito Cleansing oil but I love it and it’s more affordable option if anyone is interested. It hasn’t stung my eyes yet and I’ve been using it a little over a year.
The NuFACE is really good if you are consistent. Also, follow the instructions on the app cause you are suppose to hold it at the end when it beeps. Hope that helps. ❤
My dermatologist advised me to first cleanse, then apply the tretinoin on the dry face, leave it for around 10 to 20 min and then add the moisturizer. I've been using it for over 2 years now and I've never had a bad reaction.
I thought it was super interesting that she put it on as one of the last steps. I've always been told to put it on first too-and slather on moisturizer after to combat the dryness!
If you’re sensitive it’s better to put it after moisturizing since the moisturizer acts like a barrier, until your skin is getting used to the product. Then you can start using it directly on clean skin 👍🏻

If you are on tret and have dry skin (or oily skin) you NEED to get the Uriage bariederm insulating cream. Jesus christ it's the best. I use it on top of the tret or before, also the tret can go above moisturizer or after cleanser, it gets absorbed just the same but one is more irritating than the other, so whatever works for you and you can do constantly its the best because we are in here for the long game. I have incredibly sensitive skin and what I used is actually Aklief which is a new generation retinoid, and is just as strong as tret but less irritating.
Lan! From an esthetician, make sure you're only swiping the NuFace in upward motions! It's basically manipulating your facial muscles to strengthen in the direction you move it in so you don't want to move it downward on your jawline. Moving it upwards only will give you a better sculpted and lifted result. Much love!

Most cleansing oils are made to be emulsified and rinsed with water. It works better that way than wiping it off from my experience! The cuffs, so genius! I need those in my life!
Doing the sandwich method with tretinoin really helped me when I was first starting out with it! And putting on a thick eye cream before! It's definitely a product that you need to ease into really slowly
First year of tret I could only apply my tretinoin after all my steps: cleanser, hydrating toner, serum, moisturiser and protecting any sensitive areas like crevices next to the nose, the eyes, and the mouth corner with an occlusive! I'm now using tret after my serum, because I need and love my hydration too 😊

Just a warning with the NuFace - don’t use it every day! It’s the same as training any other muscle group, if you use it too much you’ll get muscle fatigue and/or tension especially if you’re not also massaging your face to stretch the muscles. Weird concept, but it’s taken me a while to find the right balance!
I've been using as 1st cleanser either the heimish cleansing balm (Korean) or the kose softymo deep cleansing oil (japanese). I love both and there's no need to use extra micellar water/eye remover. It removes without problem even waterproof mascara. If you have to use even an eye remover, i suggest you to drop the caudalie cleansing oil to something else

I would totally recomend cleansing skin with this foreo brush. Luna mini 3 , its gentle to touch but t-sonic pulsations are powerful and clean really deep.

some tips for your cleansing routine: take at least 40sec to cleanse your face with your oil cleanser, massage it into your eyes too!!! it will remove everything then, emulsify it with water by massaging into your skin for a dozen of seconds then, rince it completely. next, use your second cleanser for about 30sec too You won't need an extra step! 😊

Tretinoin can be dotted around your face to evenly distribute :) Sensitive and dry skin can have much less irritation by applying after moisturizer like you did :)

I am your relatively new subscriber (found ur channel arnd the beginning of this year) and I’ve been watching all your contents religiously but this is the first time I’m leaving a cmt here. sorry if this sounds awkward (english is not my 1st language) but just want to let u know, I also used that nu face massager device for 4 months bfore my wedding day and it trully works!! My face is a bit asymetric with one side being puffier and droppier, and the massage did help to balance it out a bit. My double chin area was also visibly slimmer and defined. I guess it kinda helps with lymphatic drainage aswell. It takes time, but it worked well (at least for me) so hang on, u might see the results later! Some tips to maximize the usage of that device, I also massaged my upper shoulder and decollete area, and it helped me with better definition and contour, do consider to try it if u ever plan on wearing open shoulder outfit! When it comes to my skincare I try to keep it as simple and minimal as possible because I honestly have a hard time sticking to a routine. I will go a while doing my skincare and then I will stop all of a sudden for a while and I just go back and forth. My routine consists of a cleanser. Sometimes I double cleanse if I'm wearing makeup and sometimes I will just use micellar water to cleanse my face. I then use a serum at night and a moisturizer and an acne treatment if I need it and last but not least is a lip balm. The products I use always changes.
With retin. A more is not better. It can take a year to move up to a stronger dose. I have been on .025 for a year and it has worked. I see the derm in a week and he may or may not move me up to .05. Cuffs are a game changer for me too!!
Your skin has always looked good, but I can definitely tell that it’s looking even better than normal since you started the tretinoin. It just looks really smooth and really bright. I am glad you switched to the lower dose. I was going to suggest that to you, because your skin did seem to be peeling more than it should. If you do go up again to a higher dose and you get the peeling, my suggestion would be to sandwich it, so put moisturizer on before and after use and keep the skin routine to a minimum on the night you use it 😊 you’re gonna look super bomb for your wedding 💕🎉
I use Caudalie cleansing oil because of you and have used so many bottles now. I also love the moisturizer in the purple tub from caudalie. It is so hydrating and soothing.

I wash my face with Clinique balm, remove eye make with Lancome and apply tretinoin.

Have you ever tried adding vaseline or aquaphor as a last step in your routine? This step CHANGED THE GAME for my sahara -dry skin!!
