    Ok, for you guys in a 2022 International LT625, Cummins X15, Automatic, this is the procedure.
    Step 1: Press the break pedal, Push in Tractor Parking Break.
    Step 2: Place Automatic Transmission in Drive
    Step 3: Place Automatic Transmission in Neutral, Pull Tractor Parking Break
    Step 4: Release Break Pedal, Press “Parked Regen” Momentary Switch, if done correctly Green LED Will be On and truck will Immediately idle up. During the Process, you will see the “High Exhaust Temperature” Light come on on the instrument cluster. Yes, it is finally working!
    After 1hr 24minutes process complete on this truck!
    Sometimes if you want it done right you gotta do it yourself, so I did!

    This in not correct information for 2022 International LT 625 Cummins Automatic. The Parked Regen button is momentary switch and not click, and it does nothing but allow the green light to blink. It just sits there giving me the middle finger mate. For the love of God, update this please!!!

      If you truck is asking for parked regeneration (DPF light solid or blinking) and you tried to perform the regeneration with the switch with no success, it means there is something wrong with the Aftertreatment device, so if that is the case try to take your truck to the nearest dealership so they can take a look, if still under warranty they might compensate for the time down. Please consult your dealer for more details. Thanks for watching.

    I have seen some of your videos; good job pal! Yet, i have a question for 2019 International with A26 engine when DEF fluid has been standing for a while it prompted a low fuel while the gauge was above half and trigerred error SPN:5246 SCR ERROR SEVERE DERATE STOP ENGINE and derated me to 5mph; what is the solution to get out of it?

    • @LetstalkDIESEL
      @LetstalkDIESEL  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is a good question, if your DEF level shows the right level and the SCR code is relate it to DEF refill needed. Your problem might be the DEF sending unit or also know as QLS (Quality Level Sensor). My suggestion is take to your nearest international dealership, I think, that might be able to replace it (1st time only, I believe) free of charge, that has been a regular issue in those international A26 engines. I hope this help you. Thanks for the awesome support to the channel.

    I have a 2018 international LT and in order for the Regen to kick in, I need to run the truck until like 3 gear then stop, then regen will start automatically. And go on for about 5 min then stop. After it stop, I need to repeat again run the truck until like 3 gear for the regen to kick in again and so on so for… it takes like an hour repeating this process, can someone please helpme.

    I have an 2018 International durastar 4400. When I press the regen button the engine does not rev up. Does that mean I have to take it in for service?

    • @LetstalkDIESEL
      @LetstalkDIESEL  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the regeneration light is not ON or blinking. It might not need parked regeneration yet, parked regeneration only takes place if those lights switch ON. Perhaps, passive regeneration is taking place while you are driving. Thanks for watching.

      If you do not have a manual switch, perhaps needs a software update for the instrument cluster. Usually only the dealership can take care of those issues. Thanks for watching.

    How Do You Perform A Optimized Idle In A 2021 International

    • @LetstalkDIESEL
      @LetstalkDIESEL  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually, your truck must come with that features ON from the dealership, but if that is the case, before you turn off the engine it might ask you to turn on the optimized idle or it should be around the setting menu, I hope this help you, also try to contact Navistar for more information about it. Thank you for watching.

    How long does it take while it is in the regen process for the International?? I’ve heard it can take up to an hr. Is this true?

    • @LetstalkDIESEL
      @LetstalkDIESEL  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, it takes around an hour (or even more in some cases), we have couple international trucks in our fleet and few drivers complains about the waiting time for the regeneration process (engine A26). Perhaps with a software update Navistar can solve this issue.

    How often (time frame) does it require to be regenerated?

    • @LetstalkDIESEL
      @LetstalkDIESEL  ปีที่แล้ว

      In general, parked regeneration takes between 45 minutes to one hour to complete (with International trucks with A26 engine as exception to this because those vehicles takes more than one hour and up to two and half to finish this process) When this time is excessive, for example two hours it might be time to clean your DPF or requires an proper inspection of the aftertreatment system to check the performance of the components. Thanks for watching.

    It's so stupid. They force you to do a parked regen on the big rigs, yet on my 2500 Silverado duramax I have to drive at highway speed for a regen. I don't have the option for a parked regen

  • @noreasonnetwork1047
    @noreasonnetwork1047 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I did this on international but after it was done the parked regen light was still on.

    • @LetstalkDIESEL
      @LetstalkDIESEL  ปีที่แล้ว

      If that happens could be for the following reasons:
      1. Engine is not warm enough to start the regeneration process. Warm up the engine above 110 F or 120 F so it will start the process.
      2. If engine temperature is okay and still does not start, it might be a problem with the switches (disconnect both switches from the dashboard and reconnect them again). Then try again.
      3. If point 1 and 2 are okay then the last thing to check is for problems relate it to the EGR, Turbocharger, engine sensor, etc. NED (Navistar software) tool is required for all these checks.
      Thanks for watching and I hope this information helps for your issues.

    On the international, what do I do after rpms drop back down? Do I ever press the OK button on Parked Regen Needed Screen

    • @LetstalkDIESEL
      @LetstalkDIESEL  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can press the OK button just to clear messages on your dashboard screen. That action does not perform parked regeneration.

    How do you start regen on a 2013 Ford F750 with a cummins?

    • @LetstalkDIESEL
      @LetstalkDIESEL  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do not work on pickup trucks but I suppose there is a switch under the dashboard or steering wheel area, just hold it for around 5 seconds and parked regeneration should take place. As long the required regeneration light is ON the instrument cluster, you should be able perform the manual parked regeneration.

    Hey, let’s talk about 2022 International LT625 Cummins Automatic Parked Regen. Your video on it is not correct for the truck I’m in. The Parked Regen button is a momentary switch in this one and not like the one in your video.

      Usually parked regeneration takes between 45 minutes to one hour, the only exception I would say is the engine A26 from international that it could take up three hours.
