I think one good tip would be to learn to eat slower, chew slower & wait for your food to cool down. It's a good way to change your relationship to food. Something I'm trying to learn. It will help you to feel when you're full to keep you from over eating & to really enjoy your food. I know Japanese people do this
For me, Zepbound made my GERD *awful* for a little bit so I kept Tums near my bed cause I would get so nauseous laying down. Im on zepbound and just flew with it, it can be out of the fridge for like 20 days so it not being kept cold wasn't a big deal and I just kept it in my backpack. TSA didn't even ask to see it, I let them know that I had it in my bag and they just told me to leave it in my bag and it ended up being totally fine with no complications. GLP-1s are considered part of the PCOS treatment plan now and as someone with PCOS I am definitely thriving on my GLP-1.
I think it is also important to note that those taking it and have insulin resistance, pre-diabetic, or diabetic will also have different results than those that do not have those existing conditions. So many people are losing weight quickly but it might not be the same for those with existing conditions and a pound or so a week might be normal and ok. Not everyone will lose 20 pounds the first month and should not feel bad or shouldn’t think it is not working.
Of course!! That’s why I made sure to mention that people shouldn’t compare their journeys to anyone else’s since all of our bodies are completely different 🤍
You know you can do a maintenance shot instead of going off it right? Because when you go off the food noise will rush back in etc. Some people can take a shot every other week, every 3 week or once a month ;) By the way you look fabulous and I love watching your videos! Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Thank you!! I’ve thought about a maintenance dose but I just don’t want to have to keep paying for it. I’m hoping if we do a slow wean off, it’ll help with the food noise. I’ll definitely share that journey when the time comes!
New here. Thanks for all the info. Will be watching your entire playlist. Just an FYI. Once you open the package you can keep the pen at ROOM TEMPERATURE so no issues traveling. New subbie as well. Regina from the coast of Massachusetts
Hi! Thanks for subscribing!! That’s really good information to share!! I have the compounded semaglutide vial so I have to keep mine cold but that’s good to know about the pens
I took my first shot last Saturday… no side effect however I feel no change in appetite either…I hope the second shot will kick in and decrease my appetite.
Me too! I hate getting sick only because of the coughing, cause of the fear of vomiting. Ill burst blood vessels from the strain and panic. I'm starting next week and I'm researching like crazy to try to prevent it. So much good luck, I hope it goes well for you.
@@jolenemarie5708 I would try a combination of the tips! I would definitely try and get a lot of protein and water in the day of. Let it sit out for 30 minutes before injecting it and maybe try a thigh or arm as the injection site first. Try doing it at night so you’re asleep and not stressing about it and making yourself anxious thinking about it! Keep us updated on how it goes!!
Hi! I have the same phobia and have been on the injections a few months ❤ The anxiety the first time really was awful, but I just bought extra Dramamine and had simple proteins + carbs before the shot and was perfectly fine Also the feeling of being really hungry to the point of nausea also made me anxious bc you can’t tell the difference so easily anymore so I’d recommend having crackers and water on deck at all times. Heavier/greasy foods and sugar don’t always sit right, especially after a fresh injection, but otherwise you should be totally fine!!
@@lisaillingworth-b9h it was good. Started at .25 for 4 weeks today I started .5 and I have a really bad headache hopefully that’s all I’ll get. I injected my thigh
That’s so exciting!! I was scared to inject myself at first but it’s actually so easy and doesn’t really hurt! I typically do my stomach but I think the thigh is slightly less painful (but either way it’s just a quick little pinch). Try not to overthink it!
New to watching your Vlogs, I have watched this one and your week one vlog. With that being said did you go thru insurance it did you use a particular Med service to get your semaglutide.?
@ Thank you for the response, may i ask the service you use?/recommend? There are just so many out there and to be honest I feel overwhelmed by it all trying to choose,
That’s not always true. I’ve seen people who have gained it back but also plenty who have kept it off with proper diet and exercise (especially for those who don’t have any preexisting conditions that would lead to weight gain)
it is so nice when a youtuber actually does videos that their subscribers recommend! this was such a helpful video
I try my best!! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🫶🏼

Thank you I'm starting I'm terrified. I have a phobia of vomiting 😢
Oh no! So does my friend that I kept mentioning! She’s TERRIFIED of vomiting. Hoping you don’t have to deal with that 🙏🏽

So exciting!! Good luck to you on your journey!😊
I was on it 2 yrs ago and now just started again 2 weeks ago but no weight lost.
I’m thinking about it.. i really want this so baadd but so scared of feeling sick lol
That’s totally fair! If you can ride out the initial symptoms, it’s been so worth it to me!
Everyone is different. You may not get sick. I started a week ago and haven’t feel sick at all!
@ what brand are you using?
What's the best site to get the medication from and how much is it?
Thank you for sharing this video!
Thanks for watching!🤍

U will gain it back when u stop the medication...sadly u do..takes about 4 to6 weeks to get it out of your system. Then the hunger returns stronger..

Okay doctor 🙄🙄🙄
You talk so fast that I had to check the settings on my fast to make sure I hadn’t accidentally clicked the speed button
😅 luckily you can slow down the speed if needed
I am watching her on 1.5x speed.
@@keishapettwayI love when people talk fast 🤣 I’m a Gemini sun & mercury with an Aries rising. I need quick answers 🤣
