I go to my first CAP meeting next week. I have a few friends that are in CAP and they invited me! I will be having to apply for a Curry Voucher, but I’m still so excited! I also know another friend who is joining so I’m very excited! Any tips for your first 3 meetings?
I encourage everyone to go to the website and read through the changes. The needs based and 45 day changes are important but there are other changes. Like ABUs are eligible to purchase and ensuring commanders are included are great improvements. The why is feedback from the field and fiscal management realities. It's not a perfect system, but neither was the original. Give it a shot and give your feedback to national, they do listen.
The list of items covered by the voucher comes from a limited menu that include Blues and ABU items. I do not have access to that list, as I believe only members with the Curry Voucher can see what is available when they go to Vanguard Mil.

Can the Curry Voucher be used for items such as the dress coat or more advanced uniforms within regs?
