Villain songs are my jam, so once I saw that he was releasing this series I KNEW I HAD TO DO IT! And I cannot wait to do the other ones!! If by some chance that you see this reaction Josh, I hope you enjoyed it man! :D
#7: While Equestria Girls remains a controversial topic in the fandom, this song does make most of the fandom go "Yahoo!" over the yahoos. #5 : Some have called this scene the first Pokémon battle in world history. And this was even before there WAS Japanese culture as we know it! #4: I remember describing Professor Flintheart from "A Hearth's Warming Tail" as "a three-decker sauerkraut and wilted red maple* sandwich/With locoweed saaaauuuuce!" #3: The reason "avant-garde" is often such a misnomer in the way it's applied today is because it's hard to tell if a piece is truly ahead of the curve until after the fact (Also, it's hard for a piece to become a classic if it's as hard to listen to as many "avant-garde" pieces are). Here, though, we have a style that was GENUINELY ahead of the curve. #1: Pride increases the virulence of each of the other six deadly sins, and also pollutes the virtues. Someone who is greedy but not proud will take too much, but not WAY too much. And pollute the virtues with pride? That's how you get self-righteousness (be it holier-than-thou, more-woke-than-thou, more-patriotic-than-thou, greener-than-thou, etc.), and also how you get well-intentioned extremists. * When leaves of the red maple tree wilt, they become deadly to horses.
The problem with "how bad can I be" IS that it's a fun song. You're not supposed to be having fun. He's tearing down nature out of ambition and greed, and the music is so bouncy the visuals amount to less than they should. This is when a movie should be hitting you with something powerful that makes you stop and think about it.
Yeah, I have seen videos where people have talked to some of the behind the scenes people and it was suppose to be darker in tone, but was changed to....well what it is now because higher ups thought that it WAS too dark. So while I do think How Bad Can I Be is fun, I do also admit that I would've wanted Bickering much more, hell I've only been listening to that one recently instead of HBCIB.
21:05 *spts out water* Excuse me?! You have never watched Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Chuck Jones?! WATCH IT, IT'S A CLASSIC CHRISTMAS CARTOON.
And my comment on Professor Flintheart from "A Hearth's Warming Tail" is that he's "a three-decker sauerkraut and wilted red maple sandwich/With locoweed saaaaaaauce!"
This video is actually what made me get into the MLP franchise, I heard the Siren's song, listened to the full version, watched the full movie, watched the other EQG stuff then I binged MLP over that summer
*This talks about the song at number 1 I seen this idea before and I thought it would have been great or at the least way better then how the movie did it, so imagine how good it would have been if it started out with "How Bad Can I Be" towards the beginning of his growth and towards the middle/end of his transformation/growth it's "Biggering"
I like to think that Biggering is what actually happened, but since the Onceler was telling the story, he chose to tell it as How Bad Can I Be so that Ted wouldn't completely hate him.
That is a good idea for how it could have been done. C. S. Lewis observed that losing sight of the end in the means is "the subtlest of all snares." It's also how I think Shakespeare would have done it: Give the Once-ler a monologue in the vein of "How Bad Can I Be" in Act II and a monologue in the vein of "Biggering" late in Act IV or early in Act V. (Also have the older Once-ler and Ted interacting in an "Induction" and an Epilogue).
I was happy that the Dazzlings were in this countdown. Granted, open up your eyes is 'good', but it felt lacking for some reason and I couldn't find myself loving it. Also this could be because I grew up with this version, but I still prefer Bonnie Tyler's version of Holding Out for a Hero over the Shrek version. Bonnie's voice to me sounds more raw and emotional. That's just me.
I consider Plauges Of Egypt to be a villain song, because Ramses sings part of it, and it's entirely about how his actions brought plauges upon the land. Also, WATCH THE ORIGINAL GRINCH!
Me when I see this reaction:ok I seen the list and know one entry, and since part of that particular entry scares me, I'm gonna turn the computer around during that entry. Note:I really am terrified of Jim Curray's the Grinch. to me, it is like watching a horror movie that is disguised as a kids movie.
Kid Danger: *spits out his soda and coughs hard* he put a Danny phantom villain on the freakin' beginning of his video and he do NOT put her song on the list?! Now, I'm officially offended! *snorts mad*
@Kid Danger the pony aka Donatello 21 It’s on the next list you ignorant child, also shorten your name, it’s obnoxiously long. And don’t describe what your doing, it just comes off as cringy
“Holding out for a hero” in Shrek 2 was freaking amazing both English and Spanish version heck when I hear the original version in the radio or Saint Row the third in Nintendo switch just sounds uninteresting

They are really great.
Two songs I recommend is Terror Time from Zombie Island, and the Secret of Survival from Mr' Toads Wild Ride.

@@JohnnyFerno 1: The title is Biggering
2: I guess Biggering hit too close to home for Illumination.

They should have use the first one then that one cause that song is annoying

I also like How Bad Can I Be, but I agree that Biggering would've worked better. I really want them to complete and release the darker version.
I appreciate how this Video introduced me to Biggering.

I love these videos. Love the Heathers reference with the Dazzlings. I love Heathers the Musical.
I definitely recommend checking out the Shrek Musical. It's even still on Netflix! And if not that, listen to the soundtrack. It's so good!
12:29 Well he locked his OC in closet. I can't get over it lol. FOR 30 MONTHS!

i think using MJ's " i'm bad" for the intro was Brillant, XD
I still can't wait for your reaction to the other to villain song list. They're pretty good
You look like you had the time of your life with this list!
30 months, that's 2 and a half years
i cant wait to see you react to bronies react of season 9 its gonna be so amazing

Nice singing mate
Honestly out of all the mlp villain songs I like the dazzlings lest.
Love the sirens!
please do react to the rest of the villain songs lists like the theater one.
YES, you need to watch Shrek the Musical. I'm not a big fan of the Shrek movies and I love the musical.
3/4 of them are genuinely amazing. We don’t acknowledge the third one’s existence
Your existence is a enigma. I haven't seen the movies. but still.
@@loganicfilms1388 ....what does that mean?
@@MetroGexual I heard most people like the movie but not the musical, and he is the opposite. Other then that IDK what I was thinking.
please react to the others cause tomarrow he is releasing his video game villians songs
He forgot about toxic love ((

Dude, he's focusing on movies for this list. TV shows are on the next list.
