Make Worlds Groups stage (with 5-6 teams each group) + Double Elimination Playoff Bracket Done, you successfully condensed Worlds into a smaller/equal timeframe, while at the same time making the best possible bracket. At the same time you promote the Wildcards tournament (by changing up the seed worth so LPL 4th seed isn't the same value as a NA 3rd seed), and as you have bigger groups at Worlds you explore the option to put more wildcard regions into the main event by qualifying thru the pre-Worlds tournament

IMO Cryin kinda solo lost the LNG RNG series. The guy lost lissandra leblanc countermatchup and got caught up several times in that game 4 where GALA was trying to 1v5. So yeah, if chovy gets to play in group C he's gonna get gapped by every single mid in that group, including nisqy off TF and ryze.
I feel like you could just do seeding by which teams makes groups last year so semi finalist would be 1st seed, quarter finalists will be 2nd seed and the rest are 3rd seed
if you think DK and FPX are the 2 best teams, then it should be good since they can only meet in finals. If they wer on different groups someone would draw them anyways and there's a chance they meet before finals. The problem with this draw or the way pools work is that if by any chance the weaker of the 2 loses a best of one to someone else they may not get out due to the low number of games of the format, and the 3rd seed has an unfair group since there's 2 1st seed tier teams and them going through is so much harder than other 3rd seeds. They cant just clutch out a bit, they need a massive overperformance to bridge the gap to 2nd place.

No more play-ins just throw those regions into the main groups with more groups and a 4 pot system (And slightly longer tournament at like a month and a half or something). Top 5 Regions winners are pot 1 always. Top 5 Regions Seeds 2 and 3 are pot 2. Top 5 Regions 4th seed are pot 3 and the typical minor region teams are pot 4. No teams from a region can be in the same group like now. With the current number of teams invited (VCS returning with 2 seeds) That gives you a total of 28 teams and 7 groups. Obviously team pots can be changed/arranged for VCS somehow so they have a pot 3 team or something. But if you do LCK, LPL, PCS, LEC and LCS as the top 5 regions and keep the rest of the teams the same and the 2 VCS seeds I don't see a problem. The bracket would have to be altered in some way but I guess you could introduce double elimination that way somehow since you have 14 teams going to knockouts instead of 8. Or find 4 other teams to invite from somewhere to get you to 32 teams (European Amateur Leagues, some other minor regions etc. as special invites) and do a normal single elimination bracket and also have 3rd place teams compete in a separate bracket like when teams drop out of the Champions League to the Europa League since there will be 8 teams then to do a bracket for them. And then they get Bo5 experience against other good teams plus a chance to win Silverware and give other onscreen talent, that doesn't get to do worlds normally, a chance to cast and stuff too. Then you could also introduce a show match at all stars of the winner of Worlds and the winner of the 3rd seeds just like in European Football as well. Boom I just created the Champions League of League of Legends and solved the worlds problem. You're welcome everyone.
About the 4 needed teams for 32 overal. Just give more seeds to some of the biger regions. Maybe 1 extra to Korea, China ad EU and one for the MSI winner or last years worlds winner.

Hs BBQ was unironically the best the team ever did in KR Challengers since falling there. He also coached Tempo Storm when NA had a Challenger bracket. He also "underrated" Doinb in 2019 based on his metrics for laners. He values how they perform in laning phase more than most people, and Doinb in 2019 was not a top 10 laner. Not compared to his competition at that worlds. People like you are essentially mad that he doesn't have the same opinion as you. If you had any sense, you'd simply wait for the LPL teams to skullfuck the LCK teams, as that's what you expect, and then come back and ? in his chat as he tries to OD on copium.
Here is my hot take, EDG will under perform at world( as they always are) and 100t will be typical NA(win some important games and lose random games) so my hot take is(assume hle and c9 got out) T1 1st and DFM with 3 Koreans will get second
I get the NA skepticism but honestly this is some of the best possible group draw. If C9 gets drawn into group C, it's not impossible for them to make it out -- I'd give them ~35% chance. TL could also win their group, let alone just getting out. I think they're a 40% chance total to get out, since I think that group is absolutely up in the air, but that includes a chance they win out. It's hard for me to imagine 100T getting out though.
If HLE gets out then C9 gets automatically placed in Group A (you can't be in a group with another team from your region, so HLE gets the last spot in C guaranteed). Basically there's ~1% chance they get out of groups. I think there's a world where TL just barely gets out, but first place is pretty delusional. Seems like ~20% or something.
Not gonna lie I completely blanked that it's KR 4 seeds, EU 3, despite being a fan of HLE. I think seeing FNC auto-placed in their group messed me up. So yea, goodbye C9. I don't think MAD is special and I think GENG are not going to show up. I could easily see TL winning out over GENG with the proactive playstyle they demoed in playoffs right up until finals, split a pair with MAD, split with LNG, and win out in tiebreakers. I think there's a real chance GENG goes 1-5, everyone else splits, and I think it's really just luck as to which team drops the 1 to GENG. 40% chance of getting out for TL though is pretty low if you're willing to consider GENG as poorly as I do. That's not implying the other teams have a combined 60% chance to get out either.

I think MAD will 80% of the time get at least 1 win vs TL but I think TL has a ~good chance to pick up 1 of the 2 games. I think Alphari has more tools to exploit Armut and Santorin's last international performances were quite good (and quite stable) on FlyQuest. Mostly worried about Jensen vs Humanoid, but that's not even that sketchy overall. Peak LNG is scary but in BO1, Icon can solo-lose a game. The HLE game also gave me hope since Alphari is far better than Morgan's current form (though Light vs Tactical could be rough).
LCK teams always do wel in groups, in BO1, so I think people are kind of underestimating Geng. I think that TL fans have to hope MAD runs it down in a few BO1's to clinch second.

It is becoming harder and harder to take LS's analysis seriously. You cant be an analyst relying on your eye test for your work but at the same time not watch so many other teams. What was even the point of playin team segment? Why talk about groups when 4th teams are not known and even of you can agree on 4th teams likely to get out, you have a show next week, deep dive groups then.
