Love the Perry Koreans, I've had that idea as well. To my mind the Gripping Beast saracen kits would work well as a base as well, though they're obviously near-eastern rather than far-eastern in aesthetics (out-of-the-box they work great for Haradrim).
@@windrushwargamers2745 GB plastics are more heroic-scale compared to the LotR ones, a bit stockier with much larger heads. The weapons are closer to LotR scale than Fireforge or North Star stuff but that doesn't say much considering how clunky they are haha. They scale OK with GW's metal models, meaning the metal models aren't huge giants next to them, but they still have slightly off proportions. Torsos, shields and other bits tend to work quite well IMO. Overall GB plastics are rarely the BEST models of a given style, but often they're the only hard plastics on the market and they're always good value for what you pay IMO.

I'm currently doing something similar by kitbashing the plastic Perry Afghan Tribesmen and the Warlord Samurai plastics. I believe Fireforge have some plastic Samurai incoming too so they're another option
Sounds great, would love to see some pictures if you want to join the discord you can show us your work? I did see the FFG Samurai, they look cool would be a good source of sashimonos. Just not sure about the scale between Perry Miniatures and FFG. apart from a few kits FFG seem to be a bit more heroic scale. Might be better off with the warlords, they are also nice kits :)
Pwrry Koreas are brilliant. I used them for my War of the Ring Khand Army. The dual wielding cavalry are a really bright addition to a mostly drab black force.

@@windrushwargamers2745 Last Tournament I took all Royal Guard, all on Foot Theodred's Guard (You can see the army in Noobs and Men's video), before that I took an army of Fiefdoms Characters with nothing but Clansmen of Lamedon, I have got 600 points of Abrakhan Guard but I haven't seen a mounted Rohan army in the local meta for a few years now so that's what is pushing me towards Eorl.
Thanks Buddy! we used a magnetic sheet (bought from amazon). The kind that you might used to make a magnetic carry case. The whole floor of the chariot is layers with this to that it gets a good connection. Then small magnets are inserted into the feet. I hope this helps.
