I had a little trouble finding the instructions on the site too, but once you do and get your feet underneath you the installation goes pretty well. Very kind of them to send me a light kit for review, this just makes an already fantastic set that much BETTER! Great review Maia! #forfrodo

The lighting really does look great. Never put a light on one of my sets but had thought about it. Glad they give you instructions on how to use them to the best effect. Nice review and I think I just might have to get a set to try it out.

The lighting kit totally transforms Rivendell and gives it an extra dimension. I’ve never installed a lighting kit before and might give it a go one day. That reminds me I must build my Rivendell set which currently sits sealed behind the sofa 🤔😀🙌
Ahhhhh I can't believe you have a sealed Rivendell waiting to be built! I have a lot of backlog but built this one as soon as I brought it home! I don't usually pick favourite sets but this one is definitely at the top and the lighting kit just makes so much more beautiful!
This is my first lighting kit and such a good experience I highly recommend for your favourite set!

As soon as my room I’m currently sorting out is cleared, redecorated and a new window & carpet installed it will be built. I will order a wicked brick case for it as they always lift sets to another dimension too.

Hello there! How easy is it to move it around after putting on the light kit? Can it be moved section by section to the display shelf and put together there?
@bricksbydg hi, thanks for the comment! All the sections are wired individually, and then connected by a single wire. You would just need to undo the connecting wire for each section to move them separately.
I personally had my husband help move it together so I didn't have to reconnect them!
