I love your videos! The cooking videos as well as the mukbang, making other chefs’ recipes, hacks and eating at restaurants are all so fun to watch! Please please continue making these videos! 🙌🏼 your girlfriend’s comments are so funny too 😆 I never ever leave comments but I want to support your channel! These are some ingredient ideas: soy sauce Tteokbokki or other Rice cake recipes, western/international food in Korean style, fish recipes, galbi jjim. But honestly, you can make anything with your own Kwon’s twist and I think it will be good!
OMG! Thank you so much for nice comment! You don't know what it means to me. Because of someone like you, I can make video. I'll try my best to not let you down. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 😍😍👍
In Chinese cuisine, gyeran jjim is made using a different method. Instead of cooking the eggs on the fire directly, they put the egg mixture in bowls which they put in a steamer.
Absolutely fabulous !!! You're really funny 😆..Absolutely enjoyed this video..you make cooking really exciting. I've recently discovered bok choy. Any recipe ideas? Linda (South africa)
I love this video, i have some chickens so i eat eggs every day and I'm always looking for new ideas on how to cook them. Also I never understood peoples fear of eating under cooked eggs, I had a compromised immune system for over 5 years so if the eggs had even a tiny amount of bad bacteria on them, the kid that would barely give a healthy person a stomach ache, would have made me bed ridden or could have even killed me. I still ate over easy and soft boiled eggs all the time and never got sick, the risk for infection is very low since in Asian and European countries they vaccinate the chickens, while in the US they're given antibiotics, and in both regions the chickens are kept in clean environments to prevent disease and the eggs are cleaned before going to the stores. You're more likely to get sick off fast food then you are off an egg.
WAIT!! You have some chickens?? You can have fresh eggs everyday??? So jealous!!! I heard it taste way better since it is super fresh. In Korea, it is very safe to eat raw egg but I got a lot of comment that it is not safe to eat from some western people. Lol I think depending on where you are it might be not safe and it is very interesting. Where are you from?
@@KwonsCorner backyard chickens are really easy if you have a yard, theyll eat alot of bugs and weeds so if you put out a little water and a little feed theyll mostly take care of themselves.i keep 5 of them. The eggs are way different if you have your own chickens but from what I've heard Korea and Japan both have very good quality eggs in general compared to some countries like America, where commercial farms use alot of low quality feed. My eggs are better quality and much fresher than most store bought eggs, they're close to top quality store bought ones like you'd get from a fancy grocery store. Eggs in some countries like Japan (and maybe Korea too) will usually be pasteurized. They expose the eggs to temperatures high enough to kill bacteria but not cook the egg, and the use air pressure to kill the bacteria too but not enough to damage the eggs. It makes the eggs pretty sterile on the outside. It's done in western countries too but it's fairly uncommon so far. I'm not sure how Korea is but the US doesnt vaccinate chickens, we use antibiotics. That makes the chickens a little less likely to get sick but they're a little more likely to produce infected eggs (or so I've heard). The US also tends to grow most of their eggs in huge farms in the midwest and ship them all over, so our eggs aren't as fresh than a physically smaller country like Korea, since our eggs spend more time in transit. As weird as it sounds chicken eggs have little breathing holes in the shell so the baby chicken can breathe while it forms and the holes are really tight at first but grow wider with time (even if a baby chicken isn't forming the openings grow to accommodate a growing baby chick) and as those holes open it makes It easier for bacteria to get into the egg as time goes on so our eggs are at a higher risk for getting you sick than a Korean or Japanese egg. I livd in Washington State in the US, not far from Seattle. Alot of Koreans live in my hometown and its had me interested in Korean food my whole life but I only recently started learning to cook Korean foods.
if anybody is really OCD like me.. that stone pot (atleast from my investigation) is a DOLSOT Bowl? xD i could buy one locally funny enough:P .. thanks Kwon. deff going to try this one at home!! should be a intresting lunch :P
What a lot of people don’t realize is that you can eat raw eggs as long as you buy the ones that are pasteurized. So...you can’t eat fresh eggs raw and you can’t eat eggs that you buy at farmer’s markets raw (at least in the US). But if you buy pasteurized eggs from the grocery store they are perfectly safe to consume raw or partially cooked. ✌🏻🥰😊 *would’ve been better for me to say “you shouldn’t eat fresh eggs raw”, because you certainly can eat them any way you want to...it’s just safer to only eat pasteurized eggs in the raw state. But perfectly fine to eat fresh eggs mostly cooked. I prefer soft boiled, poached and sunny side up. I’m 48 years old and have never gotten sick from an “under cooked” egg*
I hope you guys liked the episode!
