I found it particularly helpful when you talked about the player class belonging to an entity list belonging to a game class...helpful context! His tutorials are truly splendid but this one particular video is not good!!) His voice was not clear and his steps weren't really well explained! It was as if he was talking to himself. Not sure what's up, but I got to this stage, found the pointers back to the static address, but when I tried to set the value to 5000, freeze it, then change pointer, it throws an exception and/or crashes. Based on the tutorial wording, I thought that meant I had to change pointer first then set to 5000 and freeze in 3 seconds, which is kind of impossible using a media keyboard with touchpad. So either way, it's good to know I essentially did it right, but for whatever reason the tutorial crashes. Excellent video
Yes there was, it is on paragraph 3 on the tutorial. The +18 is the offset for lv1->lv0(the health) and 0 is the offset for lv2->lv1, hence the lv2 pointer will show the same value with lv0.
i looks to me that the process is repetitive. why isn't there an automatic way to transverse these addresses? that's what we're basically doing after all
its not working for me when i put in the address manually i dont get the same number i get ??? instead doing it a different way a different tutorial shows i get a number in the 2 millions

I've got: Sub [ecx+eax*2+0A],dx And Movsx eax, word ptr [ecx+eax*2+0A] These two loaded after I was shooting And my ammo decreased. What should I do now? My idea was to find ecx And IT showed me 8 addresses, which could be good, but when I tried to search for eax*2, it's showed me 132,118,970 addresses. Any tips?

I encountered this problem, and you need to add another offset and put the lvl 1 offset at the lower one and the lvl 0 offset at the upper one.
isnt it crazy that we need a tutorial for a tutorial, the cheat engine "tutorial" was not very beginner friendly
SO YOU DONT FIND WHAT IT THE SAME WAY. You have to find what accesses it not writes to it. The tutorial they got is wrong lol
