I LOVE NILES!! Your shirt is hilarious😅😅 At first I didn't see the fake blood. I thought Niles really bit you!! Not because of the box but because the way you just said, "I'm fine".😂
I have just subscribed because I love snakes, especially Burmese Pythons. I live in New England and would never abandon my non native snakes or land snails outside. I have an Albino Het Granite, Het Green Burmese Python. Thank you for featuring the Burmese. My male Burmese never was defensive with me. He is growing quickly. The Classic pattern of your female is gorgeous.
You're so smart Tim.. The things you know and notice is impeccable.. You're one great mentor. I've learned more from you in 6 months then reptile people I've watched for years. It's just the way you notice things and your honesty about things dealing with your snake is not just good... It's essential.
You've gotten so great at teaching Tim. I'm not sure if the Thursday massacre video was your first or not. It was my first time watching you. You were sitting down and soo serious... Your message was clear and real. Fast forward a few months and now your looks Clint! It's so great to watch your stuff. What's your Burmese's name? She's adorable!
Loved that you pointed out the odd behavior of the male. Always good to notice the behaviors even if we don't know what it means. "It may mean something, it may mean nothing." Great video
Thanks, one thing I've learned from all my bites is I never got hit when I saw it coming, it's the clues ya miss that get ya, so I pay close attention these days, lol.

I just started working on the channel in November and it's been steadily building, for a niche channel anyway :-) I am working to let things grow slowly with real subscribers and build the community instead of trying to trick the algorithm or click-baiting my way up :-) It's folks like you that are going to help us grow and we appreciate it!

I still love all the work that's being done with BP/retic morphs, but I will always prefer a solid wild type or albino berm any day. Absolutely gorgeous animals.
Good job man I’m loving it keep it up !! Motivating me to put more content out , hopefully next year I can do more then once a week . I have a pearl burm you make want to get a normal love that normal you have . Natural snake colors are the best colors ! Any way keep it up 👍🏾

Awesome, welcome aboard! Getting ready to publish another Saturday handling the 15ft male retic and probably going to put out another with the Burmese male this coming week as well.
It is SO TRAGIC about all those Burmese pythons being allowed to escape in Florida... It's just sad what they're doing to the other animals out there. what happened to them is so sad...It's just not their fault!! Oh! You just said something that I've not heard before.. They have Giraffe markings! Yes! Exactly!
😮 I've NEVER SEEN or even known snakes used to have legs! That's amazing,!!! It's like those lil spots of on horses 🐎legs see call "Chestnuts". Those are believed to be vestigial remnants of the pre-evolutionary leg and foot structures of their great great great great grandfather's the Eohippus? I love learning crazy cool stuff like this. Oh I learned something else today that I have in common with a Burmese🐍 Python, I don't like having my butt upside down either! 😂😂🤣
My posting schedule is generally 3-5 videos every other week. I"m on-call 24-7 for 7 days then I have 7 days off to produce vids. I go on-shift monday morning and come back off the following monday. I am going to try to push out 2 more vids this week that I'm on though, really need to get the NCARK info out regarding this tegu ban proposal in NC

That's why I'm sticking to the small snakes.ball python or cornsnakes. I like boas aswell but unsure as they are nippy and on the big side
Great job. Favor, can you do a video explaining what can happen if you don't hook train even friendliest burms and retics. I'm trying to convince my friend and his wife into stop reaching into both of their retics cages. Thanks
I'll start thinking about that one, will take some time compiling some different bite videos which I am really cautious about putting out but I'm sure there's a way to do it without it looking too much like snake fear mongering, if that makes sense. I don't want to give the anti-snake people ammo so they can say "see, even the snake people say they're dangerous". It's a good idea, will just take some time coming up with the right delivery. I do have the one vid out that talks about the Byrchec(sp) bite that goes into it slightly though
Absolutely stunning Burmese. I’d love to have one but not allow in NY. Supposable to dangerous to the public. 🤷♂️ Go. Figure. This goes to demonstrate your point. People need to be educated about these gentle giants.
i have a brand new carpet that wont eat. i noticed early in the video you mentioned your burm didnt eat for two months and you ended up force feeding. at what point did you determine it was time to force feed?
It's not an exact science for sure, but I spent a lot of time trying every method I could and when it became clear she just didn't get the concept of eating after a couple-few weeks I just started the cycle of force feeding one week, offering the next, force feeding the following week, offering the next until she figured it out. I gave her enough time between force feedings to ensure she would be hungry and eventually she started on her own and has done great ever since. When it's clear they just aren't getting it as babies I don't wait until they show physical signs to start getting meals in em because that's the time they need to be sucking down food to develop.
@@IntrepidExotics so this is my first animal i’ve had shipped to me. the breeder claims he was eating and im inclined to believe him. i’m sure shipping a tiny animal will stress it out immensely. this week will be week 3 and attempt 3.
What temperatures do you have your burms at? I would like to know the hot spot all the way down to the cool side. I just got my first burm and I’ve seen a lot of different things online about the temps that are right for them.
I try to give mine a wide temp gradient from a 86-90'ish degree bask to a 75 degree cool side, I fi d most of my snakes spend more time on the cooler side
The correct answer is No, definitely want 2 people for snakes that size. handling animals that size alone is worst case scenario if a bite occurs. Typically with a bite one person controls the head to avoid slicing and the other unwraps it. One person alone will often struggle controlling the head and uncoiling at the same time which can result in slashing wounds much worse than simple small punctures.

If you're talking about the burm issue in Florida it was hurricane Andrew that wiped out a facility and released a breeding population

Oh wow did they have four legs??
They are believed to have evolved from monitor lizard-like ancestors so whether they were still called snakes when they had legs I'm not sure, but at some point they did.
What would you say the average adult size is I hear conflicting info and think it's exaggerated I've personally never seen one in person over 14'
thats probably avg for an adult female, maybe a bit longer but the monsters are the exception rather than the rule.
