Another enjoyable episode Lachie, hope it’s a simple sensor in the tractor!
Hope you can sort the tractor out. I’ve heard some have a two stage clutch so it might be springs down low and hydraulic pressure for the second stage. Might be the hyd pump letting go (hope not) or something simple like the filters or screens blocking up.
That's a very good line of 1st x ewes, won't take much to get the condition on them 👍
A different tint of green may be an option
@@thegrangefarmingau hmm 🤔
So what are the gains off crops?
Its part of a rotation. When stands of pasture get old and there is less of the pasture and more of the weeds then cropping it for a couple of years is the easiest way to "clean it up" before eventually going back into permanant pasture again. It also gives us great feed to finsh the last of our lambs off on and good winter feed for lambing ewes.
Yeah probably best not to go anywhere near the Nowra deutz dealer and the Mittagong dealer (same company) they cooked the ecu in one of our deutz tractors when it went into have the clutch done, cost me $5k to fix it after theyd been at it
I just leased a treed 10 acre lifestyle block to a sheep farmer in NE Vic 750 mm rainfall. How much do you think it should go for?
Mostly native grass, good water, useful yards, no sheds. $500 Per annum? $800 PA. Its the middle block between two other 10 acre blocks so will make 30 acres all up. Interested in what commenter think

Avoid green altogether Lachy
Stick to the Massey’s mate can’t go wrong
