The clothes I saw...major drool happening here! I was making grabby hands at the box of ties there at the start, by the Christmas stuff. The wool jackets...sigh. I would of spent hours, and big bucks there. And the paper! Wow! Just everything, what a sale!
I love paper, so had to spend time looking through it. The attic wasn’t open & the kitchen was the checkout area, so it was pretty packed with people & not much room to look around.
Never underestimate the amount of knowledge that attends auctions. The auctioneer may not know what the stuff is, but the customers sure do. There are still certain beanie babies that can sell for big $$$, and if two bidders recognize one in a lot, they will go at it. I remember about twenty years ago there was an auction where they had a box of about a dozen jazz records that the auctioneer estimated at $50-100. It sold for $19,000.
My goodness this house! This must be where all the vintage dreams live! There was so much to look at, and that desk! Oh, wow! I would really enjoy a haul video after this one.
THANKS FOR TAKING US ALONG in thie Wonderful Old Farmhouse. I think that is a house you could spent a week in there and still not see everything !! THANKS AGAIN , Renee we all LOVE YOU !!! 💕💖💖💞
I am grateful for these sales because it allows for "strangers" to come in and not only find "treasures", but also let's us appreciate the beauty and history of the home.
Please show the sweater. And I was shocked that you didn't have that roll-top desk strapped to the top of your car-the one with all those tiny drawers 😀
Holey Moley Renee, that was an amazing estate sale. Love that house. Love watching you dig through everything. Thanks again for taking us along. Love how you light up when describing your finds.
What a wonderful sale. I was picking items out and then you picked them up. Dig to the bottom of the barrel Renee and you did. 😄 I felt like I was there with you. Thanks for the great video. ❤🐨
The kitchen was wayyyy to busy to try to even navigate. That was the checkout area, so they had a table for people paying and another table for holds, barely any room to open the cupboards and look through. (Sidenote, picked up the package from you! I'll open it in an upcoming mail video!)
Wow...lotsa stuff! I like that old yellow dump truck...similar to a Tonka...looks like an all metal toy, not the plastic items of the present. Those vintage Christmas light strings looked just like the kind which hung on the trees of my youth! The seller was thinking..."There's a Sucker Born Every Minute!" The pair of old Philco "Cathedral" Radios looked interesting. Well, an interesting sale...I saw a weather report for your state, looks like you'll have a few days to stay in, keep dry, enjoy a piping cup of tea and savor your treasures! Out here, there's another "atmospheric" storm on the way...Monday evening, into Tuesday morning!
The weather out here has become so unpredictable, the weatherman might as well say "Chance of snow between 0 and 20 inches". It doesn't snow where I'm at and you drive 10 minutes and it's like a whole different world with snow on the ground. I'm ready for spring, I can tell you that!
Wow. So much great stuff. We don't have estate sales here in the UK as a rule, which is probably fortunate as there were so many unbelievable items that I would have picked.
These are my favorite kinds of sales; lots of old paper. I find that most times when they don't have prices and you can bundle, the prices are usually pretty cheap. Nice finds!
I love watching you in this type of house. You can tell that it excites you so much. Glad you found a lot of things that you like I seen a lot of things I would’ve liked that was a lot in that house. Almost a little overbearing just almost, but I could’ve been in a place like that all day. Wish I could’ve seen exactly what you got, but enjoyed your video and I will catch you on your next one for sure
I am “ drooling” 😂watching you experience seeing such lovely old stuff from that farm house.I am very jealous of your picking and having a great time to what you love doing❤️❤️I wish we have those homes here in North Florida…
Renee, those paper finds were just up your alley. Another great treasure hunting trip for you. I believe you are 3 for 3. Congratulations on your great success. Take care & thanks for taking us along for the ride
Oh no!! Go back and get that pink baby doll out of the hamper for me!! I’ve been searching for one for years! ❤ :) You found some great treasures! Have you come across any vintage aluminum Christmas trees?
Hi Renee. Oh My! That house 🏠 is beautiful to clean out if you had the chance. But I am so glad you got so much stuff. In your next video, I would love to see all the stuff and treasures you got from the house. You my friend are a huge Blessing to God. Love your hat and I hope you were happy with what you took to show and tell. God Bless you Renee. Have a Blessed day. Mari'a. 👍👍👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💃💃💃💃
Wow, what a fun sale! I was screaming at you to take those boxes of vintage wrapping paper which does well on ebay. I had a friend that sold a single sheet of wrapping paper for over $50 because it was from a famous designer. She had no idea when she listed it and was happy when it sold. Now the big question...did you go back? That looked like the type of sale to visit on the second day when it should be less crowded, especially when the prices on day one were so good. I can't wait to see the haul video!
You'll have to wait and see if I went back! (Wink wink, watch tomorrow's video!) Wow, I know people enjoy the vintage wrapping paper but never thought about any being from a designer. I'll have to check each sheet out!
Oh wow that was an epic estate sale. I'm sure you had anxiety. I had it just watching the video lol. My thing is vintage clothing vintage underwear lingerie that kind of stuff and I seen some of it. I'm like dying because I just want to dig right there with you
That house would've made me junk drunk. Sometimes there is so much to look at, you're afraid you'll miss out because it's hard to focus on one thing at a time.
Hey Rene, what a wonderful house, a real Aladdins cave! You looked like you had a blast, it's always such a treat to explore and adventure with you. Looking forward to further uploads. Thank you for your fabulous content.
Hello Renee. I had to watch this twice. My eyes were just in shock of so many things. That house was so cool and it’s got a pool. I’m in love . To have a house like that it would be amazing. One thing did it have a nice porch on it because I so miss not having a porch ? There was so much paper, I couldn’t even not scope it all up so I could look at it all. And Knick knacks. Just so amazing. I would have been there all day if I could. I have got to see that sweater you got. I’m all excited and I wasn’t the one there. And the wall paper on the stairs I loved it. But we didn’t get to see the bathroom. This was great . Take care. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯
There wasn't a porch, a wrap-around porch would have been a wonderful addition! Whomever purchases this home once it goes on the market is a lucky person, I'd love to live in a house like this! Hope you had a wonderful weekend, Verette!
Totally cool old house, the carpet on the stairs was stellar! They must of wanted to much for the pressed steel trucks, I was hoping you were going to check them out.
I love. that old gift wrap-glad you got some of it. Those old wooden floors are so beautiful. Those white cats look familiar-60s or 70s? Did I see a tin of buttons? I'm always looking for older buttons. The new ones just don't do it for me.
So lucky to live in an area where people collected items and lived in places such a long time. In Texas where i am, you are unlikely to see houses with treasures like that. People move so frequently and tend to throw away their "treasures" when they do. So many items at the house, I would have looked at and enjoyed. I will enjoy vicariously through you. ENJOY
I don't think I could restrain myself !! I would have asked for box lot prices on the ephemera !! Plenty of Xmas too. I need one of those singing dancing Xmas trees. Thanks for taking us shopping !
I would of got all the vintage sheets and fabric! Have you ever found old flour sacks that have flower patterns on then? That’s what I’m hoping one day I can find. Awesome treasure hunting video.
Interesting video but part of me thinks a house like this should have much of its content of printed ephemera, catalogued and archived as some of that material looks pretty rare. I guess the Estate Sale method is the only thing to dispose of the contents to people/resellers to save it from landfill. In the UK we don't really have these. Thanks Rene for your care and attention to your work.
After listening to the "Pennsylvania Polka" on an early sunday evening, what a great treasure hunt at an old rural building ! Seems to be a well maintained property, was it for sale ? Sounds like you got a whole bunch of farming ephemera for a very decent price, will we see a slide show with some of these items ? Always a pleasure to see your excitement during your successful hunt, Renée ! 👍 Greets from GER, U.
I believe the property will eventually be up for sale... one could wish to buy it! I loved every room and it was so nice to see the original wallpaper still on the walls. There was talk that they might have a sale for the contents of the barns and outbuildings, so I'm hoping for that! Not sure how much ephemera I would find out there, but it would still be fun to explore each building!
What a sale! I keep seeing items that I thought you would see but didn't and then you went back around and picked up several of them restoring my faith in my ability to spot good buys! 😁 Without buying! I was able to buy a few nice things this weekend at our local thrift store! Most for others, friends and family! I enjoy buyiny for others.
Yes the McCalls magazine looked like it might be Halloween! Good eye Susan. That house was so packed! It would have been hard to see everything. Fun video to watch.
What an awesome place to dig! I realized that I saw the ad for that sale when I saw you pick up the two ceramic cats, so cute! Wish I could have made it there. Hope to see what you picked up, curious on the moose knit.
Gr8 Estate sale Rene.. That's a really kewl old house that's loaded with paper and all sorts of gold..😍😲 I'm wondering what was in the tissue paper you found in the puzzle boxes?🤔 Was hoping you found 33goudey sports cards and cards of historical people.. Can't wait to see the awesome haul.. Take care..👍💕🔥👊
The wax like paper had puzzle pieces, so I bought a few of those. My assumption is that one puzzle was wrapped in each section of paper. We'll find out when I put one together!
Looks like you could do a Puzzling with PAM video. That was a lot of things in the house FULL of things. Some of the farm items could be sleepers? Hope you do well 👍👍
Oh my goodness you got very nice things for that price. I went to one estate sale and only had a box full of things and when I got to the check out lady she said $230 oh heck no… lol
Sensory overload. Almost too much to take in. What a great sale though. So much vintage & antique. Including the stuff you love & can use to make a profit. Down here I love what I call, "The Old Homestead" sales - houses that have been in families through several generations without ever being touched - then for whatever reason the children or grandchildren of the last occupants want to sell it off. This house looked like the NJ / PA equivalent. You're right about the decor, too. What is that, 40s maybe? Glad you had a great day. Hope you have a great rest of your weekend! I had to cut the grass yesterday and this morning we had flurries!
I heard someone say that four families had lived here throughout the years. I gladly would have taken any room in that house for mine! Fortunately the sale company only let in a certain number of people at a time, I can't imagine if they would have let all 50 of the people in that were there when the sale opened! Cutting the grass and then flurries the next day? Guess the weather is crazy all over! We now are supposed to get rain tomorrow with perhaps a chance of snow overnight Monday. What will really happen, we'll have to wait & see!
Oh the “Lerner Shops” box I used to love shopping there!
The clothes I saw...major drool happening here! I was making grabby hands at the box of ties there at the start, by the Christmas stuff. The wool jackets...sigh. I would of spent hours, and big bucks there. And the paper! Wow! Just everything, what a sale!
I love that house. The wallpaper! The carpet on the stairs! It looks like it hasn't been touched in 60 or 70 years. I'm swooning.
Me too! I just loved that every room still looked authentic!
Yes! It was marvelous!
That was a great sale!! Thanks for taping it!
You begin by going through the paperwork forever and I’m screaming go to the kitchen go to the attic! Glad you got some good treasures
I love paper, so had to spend time looking through it. The attic wasn’t open & the kitchen was the checkout area, so it was pretty packed with people & not much room to look around.

Great finds .. a lot for journaling, vintage wrapping paper , seed catalogs ect
Geez Louise! That was an incredible estate sale, my head would have been spinning 360! I can’t wait to see your haul!

Wow!!!! I would love to find a sale like that!!! I love the Holt Howard cat salt and pepper shakers you got!!!!
That looked like so much fun. Would love to see a video of your haul. Especially when you get so much stuff.
Please show the sweater! This looked like a terrific sale! Boy, I thought my house was cluttered!! This would be a great clean out for you! 🥰🥰🥰
What an amazing sale! The catalogs, the wrapping paper, the fabric!! Such fun!
Very nice and interesting old house. Filled with someone's life. That's how it all goes.....
I am grateful for these sales because it allows for "strangers" to come in and not only find "treasures", but also let's us appreciate the beauty and history of the home.

That house was amazing! Nothing looked moldy or rodent eaten. Good for you👏 and great for us to see👍 Thank you Renee for another great video❣
I loved how each room looked like it hadn't been touched or redecorated for years. The wallpaper, the furniture, be still my heart!
I was excited to see you pick up Holt Howard!
Wonderful sale! I hope to see more details when you sort through it.
Coming from a farmer’s wife who lives in one of these old farm houses… I’d have a field day, no pun intended… lol this was so much fun!! 💜
I'm jealous that you live in an old farm house!
@@PaperandMoose this one looks a lot like ours… hard to heat… hard to cool! 😂
Renee’ do you have an Etsy shop or anything that you’ll sell the farm ephemera? I’d love to buy some for my farm junk journal.
Holey Moley Renee, that was an amazing estate sale. Love that house. Love watching you dig through everything. Thanks again for taking us along. Love how you light up when describing your finds.
Renee ! Thanks for taking us along with you!!! There was so much to see ! I appreciate you! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
Wow! Good sale! Junk journalists would have been thrilled with all the vintage ephemera!
What a wonderful sale. I was picking items out and then you picked them up. Dig to the bottom of the barrel Renee and you did. 😄 I felt like I was there with you. Thanks for the great video. ❤🐨
Great house and video Renee! I think you’re hitting your stride, getting more focus, not rushing. Can’t wait for the haul video!
What a house! Tho I'm a bit hurt you didn't hit the kitchen and torture me 🤣🤣

Oh no!! Go back and get that pink baby doll out of the hamper for me!! I’ve been searching for one for years! ❤ :) You found some great treasures! Have you come across any vintage aluminum Christmas trees?
Exciting, I can hear the depression era owner now, "might need that some day." I love that house too, looks like the house in Baby Boom, good color.
I have ALWAYS wanted to live in the house
In Baby Boom! Also in the movie with Chevy Chase Funny Farm.

I saw issues of Hoard's Dairymen. I received a $1000 scholarship from Victor Hoard, the publisher of the magazine, when I graduated from High School.

Yes the McCalls magazine looked like it might be Halloween! Good eye Susan. That house was so packed! It would have been hard to see everything. Fun video to watch.
Oh my goodnessssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!- My heart is thumping. *faints*
Where I live (Md) everything has to be priced at estate sales. You always know what you are going to pay. Looks like lots of great items.
