Game Over is a magical multi-target ability that inflicts 'Death' with 100% chance. Ignores Status Immunity, Elemental Resistance & Physical Immunity. Will NOT ignore Magical Immunity.
⌭ Ignores Status Immunity means this ability bypasses all 32 status effects: Death, Near-death, Sleep, Poison, Sadness, Fury, Confusion, Silence, Haste, Slow, Stop, Frog, Small, Slow-numb, Petrify, Regen, Barrier, MBarrier, Reflect, Dual, Shield, Death-sentence, Manipulate, Berserk, Peerless, Paralysed, Darkness, Seizure, Death Force, Resist, Lucky Girl, Imprisoned.
⌭ Ignores Elemental Resistance means this ability bypasses all 8 levels:
Death:- The Target is instantly killed by this Element.
Auto-Hit:- The Target cannot evade this Element.
Weak:- The Target takes double damage from this Element.
Normal:- The Target takes normal damage from this Element.
Resist:- The Target takes half damage from this Element.
Immune:- The Target takes no damage from this Element.
Absorb:- The Target is healed by this Element.
Recovery:- The Target is completely recovered by this Element.
0:00 [Ghost]
Totally invincible when vanished. Note: I used the Debug Room Warping Glitch (PC Only) to fight Ghost in the train graveyard just for the showcase but Ghost can be fought in Battle Square (in the 3rd battle of Group A, available immediately after getting the buggy).
In FF7 every battle and every screen has an ID, the game can be tricked into confusing a screenID with a battleID. What i did was to escape from the battle whose battleID (144 - Bahba Velamyu x2) is equal to the screenID of the Train Graveyard (144). After that i won a random world map battle and i was teleported there, to the Train Graveyard.
0:32 [Manhole]
He can move to another manhole. But technically that's 3 enemies, 2 of them being in the same state that when a Ghost vanishes.
0:51 [Jersey]
1st state is immune to magical attacks, making Game Over miss. He counters by switching to his 2nd state, which is immune to physical attacks instead.
1:24 [Gargoyle]
In their petrified form, they're immune to magical (and physical) attacks.
1:58 [Magic Pot]
Until being given an Elixir, they're immune to magical (and physical) attacks.
2:29 [Ruby Weapon]
Before exposing his Tentacles, he's immune to magical (and physical) attacks.
3:34 [Bizarro∙Sephiroth's Core]
As long as at least one arm is alive, the core is immune to magical (and physical) attacks.
There are 2 enemies, which have a special script, that I haven't shown in the video since Game Over doesn't miss on them but they deserve a mention.
‣ The first forced fight against Ultimate Weapon (100,000 HP) ends after 3 turns or when its HP is reduced to 20,000 HP or below. Using Game Over on Ultimate Weapon will make it to flee (the same thing happens when its 3 turns pass).
‣ Chocobos come in 8 different levels (L13, L16, L19, L22, L29, L30, L33, L36) and its HP ranges from 130 to 360. If a Chocobo's HP is reduced to 0, it will automatically counter with 'Chocobo goes nuts' and 'Escape', leaving no EXP, AP or Gil.
Interesting when that miss still resolves in a victory vs. when the battle persists.
Whell explainded all situations 👍
I had no idea that you could mime limit breaks.
In the manhole case, where the battle ended, do you get EXP and AP for all three monsters or just the one?
Just one.
I bet they remove all these cool slots and limits in the demake rebirth just like they removed tifas slots in the demake.
